Dznyfan, tell Erin it will be okay. She already has strong muscles surrounding her knee so chances are she won't be on crutches as long as they anticipate. When I had mine they did 3 orthoscopic scopes and a 6" incision. I had torn my ACL completely in half and torn a big chunk of my meniscus, plus they had to break my tibia and bolt it in place. I was only on crutches for about 3 weeks and then in an immobilizer brace for another 1-2. I had dance team tryouts 8 weeks after my surgery and was there for them good as new. Just get her into PT as soon as she is able to do so. Can you PM me your address? I want to send Erin a card.

exactly..its not like she robbed a bank!!! she didn't answer her phone, or it was left off, battery was dead, who knows what... or maybe she was in the bathroom for goodness sake. on the radio the guy was joking...like she'd pick up the phone..Oh hi daddy, sorry, I was using the potty. lol see how he'd feel then
