Sorry Miss Donna.

Thanks for the danish----I need that so I can run to the car.

I'm running late as usual and still have no clue what I'm wearing for work--- have to leave in 10 minutes. Sad, I know.

Have a good day---talk at ya soon.

2x: you sound like me. I will often be just waking up the girls with 10 minutes until we have to leave, and I'm usually only partially dressed with no makeup done or hair brushed. Needless to say, morning at my house is like a national disaster every day.

My computer, I mean OVEN, is running slow this morning so I can't bake a cake, but I don't want to forget to wish THE MAN a very Happy Birthday!!

Things are mostly back to normal at work after Friday's incident. My boss is coming into town today, I thought she wasn't coming until tomorrow. That's always a little nerve-wracking. I almost hope she doesn't want to take me to lunch, becuase I have plans to return my recalled peanut butter at lunchtime!

Have a happy Monday everyone!

Good morning cliqueless crew!

It was a busy weekend for the pozey posse. Saturday, we went out to eat. While eating, we were trying to decide on what to do afterwards. We narrowed it down to 2 choices. We were either going to go to the movies and watch Bridge to Terabitia or go to the Darryl Starbird Exotic Car Show. We as a family are car enthusiasts. We all love cars.

So, we decided to go there. On the way, we were checking out the times for the events they had going. There was to be a Monster Truck event, a high flying motorcycle exhibition, and the Texas bikini team something or another. :rolleyes1

Well, we figured that by the time we arrived, we would most likely miss the motorcycle event, so we changed our mind and went to the movies. (and unfortunately miss the Texas Bikini Team…. )

We all enjoyed the movie. However, I don’t think Chase liked the ending very much. He was very sad.

Yesterday (Sunday) was the first day in a LONG time around here that the weather was really nice. I went to the grocery store and on the way home stopped and washed my truck. After I got home I asked Chase if he wanted to go outside and play some baseball. He had his shoes on faster than a blink of an eye. So did Courtney. So I went out and played a little baseball with Chase and Courtney. I am going to be the head coach of Chase’s baseball team this summer, so I figured we needed to get started.

After a little bit of baseball, the kids wanted to ride bikes, so I took this time to finish painting a door that needed paint. Colton came out after he finished reading his book to ride bikes with the others.

It was great to just be able to go outside and do something without FREEZING!!

About 6 p.m., DW wanted ICE CREAM!! :cool1: So we went up to Freckles for some frozen custard. DW had a raspberry concrete, Courtney and Colton shared a banana split, and Chase and I shared a Root Beer Float.

Oh, yeah……forgot one thing……we did watch the end of the Daytona 500. We aren’t huge NASCAR fans, but we do enjoy watching. Chase is a big Jeff Gordon fan, so we were cheering for him. And Jimmie Johnson married a girl from Muskogee (where we used to live and DW still works), so we cheer for him as well.

What an ending to the race!!! Wow!!

pozey: It sounds like you guys had a lovely weekend. Too bad for you that you missed the bikinis, huh? ;) We had a relatively warm weekend, it actually got up past 40 for a few minutes yesterday, but it was still yucky outisde. Everything was melting so we have tons of slush, and the wind has been positively arctic. So... no outside activities, or ice cream, for us.

****big sigh****

well, since Lyzziesmom shared her lovely stories about boogers, here is my infamous SOUP story. Since I didn't have a chance to share it at the convention (I think I told YM, though:lmao: )-----HERE IT GOES-----please don't think less of me after reading this.:rotfl2:

I recall when I told Linda to remind me to tell this story, we were chatting about having weak stomachs, queeziness, etc. Well, I am the QUEEN of weak stomachs and this story proves it. Keep in mind that when I was a little girl, if the dog so much as threw up, my mom was yelling to get me out of the room.:rotfl:

Okay, set the scene----I was 4, my sister was 5. We were sitting at the kitchen table eating lunch----tomato soup. Since we are the only children, we kept each other entertained. Anyway, we started giggling about something which turned into that non-stop, uncontrollable laughter. Well, I was laughing so hard that a booger flew out of my nose and landed on the corner of the kitchen table. I took one look at it (I thought it looked like a lima bean:eek: ) and threw up (tomato soup) ALL over!!!!:scared: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

My mom was NOT (or shall I say, wasSNOT) happy!!!!

Goes to show you that my stomach could not even tolerate my own "things".

OMG--I cannot believe I just wrote this for the world to read.
I'll hit submit post now as to not chicken out.:rolleyes1 :dance3:
2x2s......I would never think less of you because of your story.........

And your story is HILARIOUS!! :rotfl2:

omg...Kenny is going to be so excited when I show him all of these. Thanks so much to all of you.

I was kissing Mike and Kenny looks at us and says..."are u guys going to go have sex":lmao: OMG....Mike asked him where he heard about that...naturally...kids at school!
Should have told him no………but you were going to play with his butt. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Who me:rolleyes1 :rotfl2: I did tell him the no part...but didn't mention playing w/his butt!

W/all this talk...I have to share this:

Vaseline Research

A man doing market research knocked on a door and was greeted by a young woman with three small children running around at her feet.

He says, "I'm doing some research for Vaseline. Have you ever used the product?"

She says, "Yes. My husband and I use it all the time."

"And if you don't mind me asking, what do you use it for?"

"We use it for sex."

The researcher was a little taken back. "Usually people lie to me and say that they use it on a child's bicycle chain or to help with a gate
hinge. But, in fact, I know that most people do use it for sex. I admire you for your honesty. Since you've been frank so far, can you tell me exactly how you use it for sex?"

The woman says, "I don't mind telling you at all. My husband and I put it on the door knob and it keeps the kids out."

(AND YOU THOUGHT WHAT? )

I'll leave you with a Cute Emma and Lyzzie Story of the Day:

Emma: Can I have some one jellybean?
Me: Yes you may.
Emma (to Lyzzie): Can you have some one jellybean too, sweetie?
Lyzzie: Yes please, and I am NOT your sweetie!!

:rotfl2: :lmao:

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

2X- Your stories are hilarious! Snot, fritters and Go-deevva!:rotfl:

Linda-That joke was too funny!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASTER KENNY!!!

Thank goodness the tag fairy doesn't frequent this thread. There is a lot of talk about poop, snot, buggers, vomit and Sex! I can only imagine the tags!:rotfl:

:rotfl:

I just took my car to the dealership to get fixed. I won't get it back until next Tuesday at the earliest! Luckily they gave me a rental.

Glad they gave you a rental Nicole. Our dealer has rentals...at $30 a DAY.:sad2:

Kenny is going to be so excited tonight! Thanks guys!

Nicole: How is the rental? I once nearly totaled my car - an elderly man didn't see a stop sign and hit my passenger side - and I had a rental for almost 3 months. I forget what kind of car it was (a Kia maybe) but I swear the thing was made of PLASTIC! I had it so long, people thought it was my car. I'm not known for having pricey cars, but I would be embarassed to own that thing, it was awful. I think of it every time I hear of someone having a loaner. However, during my last fender-bender, I had a very nice rental that I really didn't want to give back... it was much better than my car plus it had that nice new-car smell. Ahhhhh. Linda, I'm pretty sure I had to pay for my rental last time too.

With our car insurance you can add rentals to your policy, but I'm too cheap:rolleyes1 I'll just drive the other car ;)

Got an early anniversary gift yesterday. Well………at least it is ordered. DW wakes me up around midnight Saturday night. She was having trouble sleeping and had been watching QVC or HSN. Anyway, their Today’s Special Value was a portable GPS Navigation System. We had been talking about getting one before we take our vacation to The Grand Canyon in June. So, she ordered it.

She wakes me up to tell me this. Probably will end up being my “Anniversary Gift”. Our anniversary is March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day.

Oh, well……another cool gadget for me to play with.
