Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 3

Maybe he'll want to meet you after? This way at least you have advance warning and have time to think about how you want to handle it. I hate when someone springs something on you and you end up agreeing to something you don't want just because you were put on the spot.

Good luck!!

See you Friday!!:)

Michele: I have no idea if that's the plan or not... it may have really been just something he saw and thought the kids would like. He did always really like them and was so nice to them. Oh well, who has time to worry about stuff like that when there is a DISNEY TRIP coming up in just over FOUR DAYS!! And I still haven't gotten my socks & undies washed, just the kids' clothes. (In my defense, I got kicked out of my laundry room while my parents were putting up the crown molding and then left the house until 7pm and was busy with bedtime & all that stuff.)

Isn't Avenue Q music awesome? Erin really wanted to see it on our trip, but my friend (NYC vet/our tour guide) that we're going with - well her daughter, also Erin's friend, is only 14. I thought Erin and I were maybe going to split off and go see it the last night, but that was before I found out that John T. was in B&TB. Still haven't found out if he'll still be in the company while we're there, but Erin is SO excited - she gets to see Sutton Foster, Rebecca Luker, and maybe John Tartaglia.
That is an awesome cast! I love Sutton Foster!

Good Morning all!!

I am trying to see if I can type right now. My hands are shaking so badly. I woke up this morning and went out to get the paper. I found that someone ( I'm positive I know who!) shredded those car ad magazines and threw the paper all over my front yard!! I couldn't deal with it then, came in read my paper, then got dressed and cleaned it up. Well I have asthma that is triggered by either animals or cold, dry air. Guess which one I dealt with this morning!! By the time I came in I could barely catch my breath, I had to use my inhaler and sometimes ( like today) it will cause me to just shake like crazy!

I still have to go into the attic and get my summer clothes, try things on and get started packing! I can't wait. I really need this!
Michelle, I'm so sorry! I hope your asthma backs down!

Thats a little bizarre...wierdly bizarre.
I remailed you. It might also be because of the way I saved it, so let me know if it works or not!

Well, I had a pretty decent weekend. Worked til 2:30 yesterday and then Chris and I went to see a play called Private Eyes, which was very good. Dznyfan, if Erin ever needs a duo scene with a guy this would be great!!! Worked all day today and am ready to CRASH! Sundays at the mall wear me out more than any other day.

Hi, Crew!!!
I just had a long post ready to send and it came up data base error!!! I lost everything!!! Anyway, we got MIL mostly moved in to her new apartment, even though it was sooocol out!! MIl and Nathan just stayed indoors while Gary and I moved what we could!!

Better go now, it's getting late.:cloud9:

See you at breakfast!!!

Good morning, everyone!! It looks like there may be a warming trend in my area; it's up to 20 degrees out this morning!!!! How about a little traditional breakfast this morning?? I'm starving!!!

Thanks Donna, that looks wonderful!

No warming here! It is about 10 degrees outside this morning! The highs this weekend should be in the teens. Luckily I will be warm in Disney!!!

4 days!! You all have no idea how much I need this trip right now!!

I had spent hours outside yesterday clearing my driveway of snow, and when I woke up today I had another 8 inches on the ground! I think I'm going to take Donna's breakfast, and hide in a cave somewhere 'till spring gets here. To make matters worse there's this commercial on the TV about a "Bahamavention", I think I need one badddddddd:sad1:

Good Morning!

I haven't had a chance to catch up. My weekend was ok. We bought a new dresser and it took Mike 3 hours to put it together (from now on I only buy preassembled furniture).

I told Mike about the Poly. He said he would ask his boss (December is a busy time for them) but he wasn't sure if he could take off. He said that if he can't get off, then we can still go in Feb. It is just such a good deal, I don't want to miss out.

You all only have a few days left!! I am so excited for you.

Have a great day!!

Morning!

Thanks, Donna. Breakfast is yummy as usual!

We're hovering at about 20º degress right now. It looks like it's only 40º in Orlando. :cold: I did check the forecast and it is supposed to be in the mid to high 70's when we're there.

In other news, just wanted to share the news w/ all that were sending Prayers & Pixie Dust DH's way that it looks like he got the job that he wanted w/ the state. They are waiting for paperwork to be processed in Columbia, our state capitol, and if all goes as planned he'll be starting on the 19th of February! :cool1: It was a bit nerve wracking there for several days. He interviewed, then of course the waiting began. Then he couldn't take it anymore so he called to "follow-up" on his interview. They said they called the candidates that morning and that they'd keep his app on file... :sad2: Then, the next day they called him back about the job. :woohoo: Of course we took it. Then there were some tests he had to take but they say everything looks good so keeping our fingers crossed until the 19th. Cause you know you never really feel at ease until you actually start. But thank you all for your prayers & pixie dust!

Well, I've got to get some wash going. :laundy: I've got quite a bit to do in the next few days.

Catch up w/ you all in a bit.

Good morning all!

Well, we made it through the big birthday weekend, snow, in-laws, and all! Next up is my husbands in February. He turns 40! I already bought him his "big" present but I'm going to buy him some small stuff and give him a present every week. Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Keagan.

Anyway. it is a balmy 14 here today.
Hey sewer-- wasn't it you who wanted sunshine? How about going here:

Donna-- thanks for breakfast once again.

Lyzziesmom-- I am a noted leadfoot, although I have gotten better in the past few years. However, about 12 years ago our insurance company informed my husband that because of my driving record they no longer wished to insure me :rolleyes1 We got to pay the unbelievably high rates for a couple of years for me :sad2: I'm much better now. It helps that I traded in my sportscar for a jeep.;) Every once in a while I still feel the need for speed, but I try to control myself.:lmao:

April--:cool1: congrats :cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Well, I'm off to get the kiddo ready for school. Have a great day everyone and keep warm!

Donna - thanks for breakfast!

That is an awesome cast! I love Sutton Foster!

Well, I had a pretty decent weekend. Worked til 2:30 yesterday and then Chris and I went to see a play called Private Eyes, which was very good. Worked all day today and am ready to CRASH! Sundays at the mall wear me out more than any other day.
BTW - are you watching the 'Grease' show on NBC? Very entertaining!

Sorry, Sewer, to hear about your snow troubles! It sounds like your snow is behaving remarkably like laundry, to me!? You get it done, and all of a sudden - there's more!

April - Congrats to Steve on the job!! :woohoo:

Yolanda - wow - where is that???

Aaack! I had all the multi-quote buttons ready to go, and then got a server error. So I will try to go by memory, I apologize in advance for anyone I miss because I'm sure I'll forget a lot - y'know, memory like a sieve and all.

Donna: Glad to see you got the MIL taken care of. How does she like the new place? I thought it was going to be the weekend after we got back, could she just not wait that long??
I love the Philharmagic picture! Emma keeps talking about seeing the "Donald Duck Movie"... even though last time she watched the whole thing through her fingers. Remind me not to sit in the front row with her this time, it's just a little too much for her.

Michele: I really need this trip right now too! Friday just can't come soon enough. Hopefully it'll be here before we know it and we'll all be together in the World very soon! :woohoo:

sewer: That's a lot of snow!! We were supposed to get flurries over the weekend and never did, now they've moved the flurries to today so we'll see. But it's been beastly cold - I think if it's going to be this cold, I'd almost rather have the snow to look at and be able to see a reason for why I'm freezing my... well... everything off. :rolleyes1

Amber: I hope you get your trip to the Poly!

April: Congrats to Steven on the job! I know what you mean about not feeling secure. I don't even feel secure once I've been at the job for a couple years!! I have had horrible job luck in the past. I say jobs are like boyfriends... easy to get, hard to keep. ;)

Yolanda: Whew, you had one busy weekend! That beach looks lovely, where are we this morning?

Well I'm gonna try to get some work done. I need to get things organized since I'll be missing three days of work y'know!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Just catching up on a little weekend happenings 'round here.

I had to laugh Linda......last time we went to Myrtle Beach, I was showing my pictures to coworkers.....they commented pretty much the same thing....

All these women in bikinis kept getting in my shot!! :cool1:
DW knows me so well though.......she'll point out pretty women for me. She's such a sweetie!! :woohoo:
:rolleyes1  that's too cute. I think men are just gonna look, that is if they like women:rotfl2:

Linda----IF AND ONLY IF you are at Walmart and happen to come across an XL------but ----if I find out that you made a special trip-----I will be MAD!!!!! :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 ;) Seriously-----it is no big deal---please don't make a special trip just for that-----you have enough going!!
Ooh, that's right----tomorrow is your spa day!!!!! Relax, girlie!!!

Did all the Papyrus' go out of business??? I think they may have.??

I'm getting sleepy myself and have a big cleaning day tomorrow.

Night everyone!!
Had a blast at the spa:cloud9: I needed it ;) not sure about all the papyrus stores, but I sure got some great deals:woohoo: I am running to Wal Mart at lunch for a few last minute things so if they have an xl, I'll grab you one. No biggie. Hope you got some rest. :cloud9:

Awww Michele...I'm so sorry!!:guilty:

Ok here's what happened... ex-BF just emailed me with a late Xmas gift for the girls: printable tickets to see the Wiggles! They are the cheap seats - upper balcony - which I'm pretty sure is all that's available now. I just don't quite know what to make of this, being so out of the blue like this. :confused3 I really did want to take the kids to the Wiggles though, and I know they will love it. I emailed back a big thank you, you shouldn't have. I'm a little freaked out!!
wow, I bet you are a little freaked out. that was nice.
I had spent hours outside yesterday clearing my driveway of snow, and when I woke up today I had another 8 inches on the ground! I think I'm going to take Donna's breakfast, and hide in a cave somewhere 'till spring gets here. 8 " of snow:eek: yuck!!! sorry sewer... Bahamavention... I'll try to bring back some sunshine and warmer temps for you.

I can hardly take it ...we leave TOMORROW:dance3: :cheer2:  :cool1:

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast Donna!

Lyzziesmom- That was nice of your ex-DBF to buy you the tickets. I remember when you said he had a late present for the girls.

April- Congrats to Steven!:cool1:

Donna- That's good you got your MIL moved this weekend.

I can't believe in 4 days ya'll are going on the trip! :cool1:

It looks like I might have to go to the dollar store and stock up on some more ponchos!! The temp looks all over the place, and rain every day. At least the crowds are usually low on rainy days... they don't slow me down much at all! I wish I could find a "Micken" sweater in a 2T size - guess I'll just have to find some other kind of sweater for the tyke.

Last night I was talking to Emma about seeing characters, because she didn't really like the face characters last time. (Ok, so she hated them with a passion.) So I told her she'll see pirates, but they are good pirates, not scary. And princesses, and she said, "But good princesses, not scary ones." So we started naming the princesses, and when I said mermaid, she said, "And her fish!"
yes, and her fish.
"And her crab!"
yes, and her crab.
"And her pirate!"
um, I don't remember that part of the movie, but ok, you might see her pirate.

Lyzziesmom, I've been watching the forecast... we'll have a blast no matter what! low crowds for sure:cool1:

Emmaprincess: pirate: how cute!!!

OOOOOKAY. Big, big news.

Do you want the good, or the bad first?

OK, I'll tell you the good first:

I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!! WITH, my favorite people in the world! YOU GUYS!!! Thanks to the best husband in the whole entire world who just surprised me!!. He just called and woke me up- he booked me a room for Port Orleans/Riverside (the first set of bad news, I'm disappointed I'm not near you guys- actually not disappointed, more like SCARED TO DEATH because I've never been alone anywhere EVER :scared1: ) from February 2-February 6. They didn't have availability at FQ for the 2&3rd, and he figured switching would be a big pain by myself so he booked it for the whole time there. Another bad news--apparently, the Riverside foodcourt is closed for refurb. I don't know how much that will affect me, I'm guessing I'll be coming to see you guys alot but I don't know. I actually like Riverside alot, I've stayed there before twice- I'm just alittle apprehensive about being alone.

OKKKKKKK.....Bad news!!!!!!
Besides being terrfied because I've never been anywere by myself before, something baaad happened last night. I re-injured my (bad) knee..I slipped in the bathroom and landed on it hard . I'm not sure how its going to be feeling by Friday or how much I'm going to be able to walk or how fast. ??? THoughts???

I got the dining plan, and I think funds are going to be pretty limited besides that because of the short notice :rolleyes1 so I'll only be doing 1 sit down a day, I think. On Sat, when you guys did 50's Prime Time I'll get a CS or something...And I'm not sure I'm going to the Pirate & Princess party (more panic cause thats more time I'll be alone.)

BUT WHO CARES ABOUT ALL THAT STUFF! I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!

someone tell me I'm not crazy.

Ashley, I'm so happy for you!!! I hope your knee is better by this weekend. Ice it and keept it elevated. You are going to have a great time. :dance3:
