Hi everyone!!

Just wanted to check in since we are living for Florida in the morning. I think I will be able to check in though because I'm bringing my laptop!

I got 2xcited's, Linda's, Lesa's and Amber's cards in the mail today!!! I was so excited. I'll have to wait until I get home to see the rest. :guilty:

I'm running around like a chicken with its head cut off right now trying to get everything ready. I'm a nervous wreck too because we have to leave the cats for 8 days, but Jeremiah's co-worker is checking up on them every other day. I feel so bad I'm leaving them on Christmas. :guilty:

If I don't get to talk to you guys- MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! and safe travels if you are going anywhere. Well safe travels anyway even if its down the street! :grouphug:

Ashley: have a great time in FL!! Don't worry about the cats, they are self-sufficient creatures. Mine always seemed like they were mad that we came back! Now we usually just give them a big self-feeder and waterer, and maybe have a neighbor check on them once every four days or so. They love being left alone! Have a great trip and Merry Early Christmas!!

Ashley:: Have a great trip!!! Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the time with your family!!! Drive carefully, we'll miss you!!!
Is this the car you'll be driving????

Good evening to all my cliqueless friends. Whew...it's been a long day. In addition to the dog my younger DS succombed to this nasty little virus going around. Except he had to do it with his own flare and get hives....you guys see our little allergy theme at our house. :confused3 :teeth: Well, things look on the up and up for tonight.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the card. It was fun...I did a couple of different cards for different friends but somehow I figured you guys would feel the "magic". :)

Ashley...I hope you have a safe wonderful trip.

Lin...I'm thinking food...hmmm....what about Sci-Fi? It's so much fun...we really loved it. I think my mom really loved the LTT when we took her and CRT (of course)!

Pozey...did you really mean to send me the $100.... :rotfl: ;) I did get your card today and it had a "card" in it. I wonder if Courtney is going to have any late night snacks in her bed tonight. :teeth:

Linda...that's so sweet Kenny likes to open cards with you. My kids are usually 100% focused on spending every "free" second of the day playing...although I can get them to bake with me sometimes. My youngest does like to look at the pictures on this thread.

lyzziesmom....my two boys sound very much like your girls with who does and does not like to follow rules. My oldest has gotten that snotty attitude at times but he is a major rule follower. The other day when he did his jumping stunt he must have said 100x that was so stupid...that was so stupid....why did I do that..... :teeth:

Well, I actually have to work on my birthday but that's ok becuase it's the last day for me to work until 1-4-07.... :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Goodnight...catch ya'll tomorrow. :Pinkbounc :cloud9:

Well, I'm attempting to catch up from the last couple of days, but I don't think it's going to happen tonight--or shall I say this morning??

I'll try again later.

Hi to everyone and just wanted to say that I've enjoyed so much the Cliqueless cards. They really make me smile at the end of a long day!!

I'll talk to you all soon.

Good Morning,

YM, :bday:

Ashley, have a wonderful time in FL!! Your cats will be fine.

Lesa, I got your card; very cute.

We watched Fox and the Hound 2 last night. It was cute and not nearly as sad as the first one.

Have a great day! I'll be back later.

Donna, thank you for breakfast!

Happy Birthday to Your Majesty!! :worship: :worship:

Ashley - have a wonderful and safe trip to Florida!

Lin - a new place, not real expensive... not sure where you've already eaten, but one that is kind of on the lower end of the table service places is 50's Prime Time, and the 'comfort food' is good. It's so popular though, I'm thinking you might have already been there. I could just see us putting baskets together - sitting around the table, listening to musical soundtracks, talking about which movie Disney should have made into a stage show instead of Tarzan... fun!!! (I will take pics)

YM - between the dog and the kids, you just can't win! pixiedust: for a healthy household for Christmas!

2X - it was good to see you here, even if it was only for a brief moment! I hope you're feeling ok!? :grouphug:

Lyzziesmom - how funny about your girls - sounds so familiar, that first/second child dynamic. My sister and I were just like that - she was perfect. I was (still am, I suppose) the rebel. :rotfl: The naughty chair sounds like a great idea - we just did time out with Erin. She spent a LOT of time in time out. At least Emma is figuring out that she DOESN'T like the chair!

Hi to everybody!! :wave2:

Good morning Crew!!! It's been raining here most of the night. I need my nice, hot cup of coffee and a pumpkin muffin. Care to join me??

I looked at that picture, and wanted one of those muffin's now! The only thing I can do now is sit here and drool. :rotfl2:

Good morning!  Only 4 more days till Christmas! I must say, it's speeding right along!!! Maybe a bit to quick!

Thank you for the pumpkin muffins Donna! I was actually thinking of making some pumpkin bread today! I made some of the pistachio bread the other day. I may need to make more. It goes really well with coffee in the morning! :rolleyes1

Welcome sewer! :welcome: Join us for breakfast and coffee anytime!

I did finish my project! :woohoo: It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted, but it's done and is pretty good.

Have a safe trip home Ashley! Merry Christmas!!

Good Morning!

Thanks for the muffin Donna! I laughed at the Hello Kitty car! My sister's a big Hello Kitty fan, I'll have to show her it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUR MAJESTY!
I hope your DS feels better soon! I got your card, I love it!

Bye Ashley! :wave2: Have a safe trip!

Lin- I second 50's Prime Time cafe. I love it there. It's not too expensive.

Hi Sewer!

I was so busy yesterday making a cake my mom wants me to decorate, pretzel wreaths, and cookies. I didn't get a chance to make the popcorn though, maybe today.

Top o' the morning' to my wee Cliqueless clickers!! (I have no idea where that came from.) Welcome sewer, drop in anytime and join us for breakfast!

Nicole: you have been quite the busy little baker, haven't you? I have several more kinds of cookies I wanted to make, but I don't think I will get to them.

YM: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!
disney%20princess%20cake.jpg

Lin: I don't really know what kind of new experience you're looking for. We really enjoyed the HoopDeDoo, and I love the SciFi Dine-In Theater. Marrakesh was also pretty cool, with the belly dancer and just the atmosphere was amazing. The desserts were delicious too! My dad loves the upscale feel of the Concourse Steakhouse. Chef Mickey's is a load of fun. One of my new favorites is Whispering Canyon Cafe - loud and boisterious and just really silly with lots of good food. It's so hard to pick just one! If you're just looking for something new & different to DO, have you tried any of the tours? I've done the Family Magic Tour, which was geared towards kids but I still found it really fun, and the Segway Around the World tour, which I HIGHLY recommend as a totally unique experience. One of the only other places you can do a Segway tour is at the Kansas City Zoo! (and it's actually cheaper & a longer tour at Epcot.)

Lyzzie just told me yesterday that she really really REALLY wants the Hannah Montana soundtrack CD. Arrrrgh... I was just looking at that the other day, and then I put it back! Now I will have to run to the store at lunchtime & see if I can find it again, since it's the only thing she has specifically asked for.

This morning Lyzzie decided that since most of her Hanukkah presents have been clothes, she would open today's gift before getting dressed so she wouldn't have to change. I told her go ahead, but wouldn't it be funny if today was the day it was a toy. Sure enough, the box (same size & shape as the clothing boxes her grandparents use every year) was a SceneIt Disney edition game!! She is very excited to play it today since she is off of school & her friend will be over all day. I wish I could stay there & play it too, it looks like a lot of fun!

My mom is keeping the girls tonight so I can sleep in a little in the morning! I should really clean the house & finish up the laundry, and maybe a batch of cookies or two. In reality, I'll probably grab a glass or two of wine and sit down with a sappy Christmas movie on the Hallmark or Lifetime channel. :thumbsup2 (thumb)

Hi to anyone I missed. Pozey, I'm still looking for my $100, I mean CARD, in the mail!!

Inspired by Lyzziesmom's peeking at gifts thread-

It's the Cliqueless Question of the Day!!!!

What did you want when you were a kid for Christmas but never got?

I wanted a Barbie Dream House and Corvette. Me and my sister did get a car but it wasn't the Barbie Corvette. It served it's purpose though. Another thing I wanted was a dollhouse. We had one but it was never finished. I guess that was my "Barbie Dream House" too. :(

What about everyone else?

I always wanted an Easy Bake Oven and never got one. A few years ago I found one at a garage sale & bought it for Lyzzie. She's used it once and I had to do most of the work. It was a pain in the behind! I can see why I never got one.

I'm sure there's a lot more that I never got, but that's the first one I could think of.

ETA: Great question Nicole!! :thumbsup2 (thumb)

Oh my goodness...the cakes are so yummy looking. I was eating some oatmeal with sunflower and pumkin seeds here at work this morning and drooling over the birthday cakes. :dog2: Not to mention they are so pretty...it's so festive here! Thank you for thinking of me. :Pinkbounc

My co-worker is taking me to lunch. :woohoo:

Hopefully, I'll be able to peek back a little later.

The thing I wanted most that I never got was....are you ready....

remember those white Nike tennis shoes with the red swipe on the side. I wanted those so bad and my mom would only buy me knock offs. :guilty: :teeth: I also really wanted a pair of those Jordache jeans, you know the kind that Brook Shields wore. Not really toys, but the most memorable things I never got as a kid. :sad2: :teeth:

News Flash!!! I saw on the news today that there is a germ making us fat. Now we need not worry what we eat this holiday, we just need to wear a face mask to keep from catching that germ. :happytv:
