Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 3

Oh, the Black Stallion series is amazing! I loved those. But, I wasn't all that into Black Beauty for some reason.

Amber, your mom can still adopt me if she wants too!

The BOGO event includes...drumroll please...most toys, (not Princess Dolls, PVC's and Action Figures or Tinkerbelle), t-shirts, kids fashion, adult and kid sweatshirts, coffee mugs, picture frames, SNOWGLOBES, Winter White Plush and some other stuff I can't remember. This is the first time that it has included fashion and collectables. Usually its just toys and sometimes stuffed animals. You guys should go to http://www.wishesgranteddaily.com/wgd/ and sign up; it will get you online Disney Store coupons to print and bring to the store and advanced notice of sales. (Shameless plug ended).

Have fun at work Lin! I went to that TDS website and got my coupon... I'm all ready for the after-Christmas sales! Last year before our WDW trip I got the girls mini light-up twirly things with Tink on them (for 99 cents at TDS!), we whipped those bad boys out during the fireworks and Emma loved it, she wasn't so scared of the dark & the fireworks because she had her "magic flashlight."

Ok I'm starting to get into planning mode. For those of you who are going to the Cliqueless Convention in Feb, have any of you eaten at Biergarten? I just remembered that is on the list of places I'd like to try. I'm actually not too crazy about the menu, but I've heard the entertainment is a lot of fun. Since I'm a picky eater, I tend to choose WDW restaurants based more on entertainment value than actual food - chances are I won't eat much no matter where I go. What do you guys think? Should we put it on the list of maybes for Feb??

Linda, can you refresh my horrible memory one more time as to who we have on the list for Feb and when our existing ADR's are? I think I'm going to start putting together one of my "famous" color-coded spreadsheets and I don't want to page back through our thread to find everything! Also, would you mind PMing or emailing me the confirmation numbers for the ADR's? Thanks!!

Hey guy and dolls.

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm still here but I've had a KILLER migraine with the light sensitivity and nausea that started Tuesday night!! It's finally going into remission right now but I don't want to aggravate it again by sitting at the computer.

Truth is, I think that's how it started. I was stressing about the resume and getting that done and I was at the computer tense for hours doing that, then I typed two days worth of trip stories. My computer is definately NOT ergonomically correct and I've just had horrible shoulder pain and this stupid migraine!! I've taken all the Relpax I can take, I've switched to Excederin Migraine and drinking Mountain Dew (for the caffeine) until I'm jittery and I've been to the chiropractor.

It's starting to subside but as you can imagine, I don't want it to start up again. I even asked Steven to send you guys a note (I'd tell him what to write ;) ) explaining my absence but he thought I was being ridiculous.

I did briefly see it's Your Majesty's birthday. :bday: Happy Birthday!! Glad I saw that.

Anyway, hopefully tomorrow it will be ALL gone!! OK, stepping away from the computer now don't want it to come back. I don't think I can take much more! I haven't had a migraine this bad since October of 2004 after flying home from Florida.

OK, talk to you later. :wave2:

April: I hope you feel better soon. I have battled migraines for 16 years now. I don't get them as often as I used to but when I do it's usually a doozy! I feel for you. Go get some rest, that's often the only thing that will help. Well, that and a nice big bowl of ice cream, and maybe a foot massage. ;)

Hi,Cliqueless Crew!! I hope everyone had a good day!! :sunny: It's still rainy here, but a least we don't have 3 feet of SNOW!!! Be careful out there in Colorado, Yolanda!!

Today I received Amber's, Michele's, Linda's (& Kenny's) and pozey's cards!! :goodvibes I actually had a card in my envelope, pozey. :teeth:

YourMajesty:: I sure hope you poor DS got to feeling better. :goodvibes Maybe he's going to have all his illnesses early in the winter and be done with it.
Are you having a good birthday? How was your lunch? That's so wonderful that you don't have to go to work until next year!!! :thumbsup2 DH is off now until Jan 2nd.

:welcome: sewer!!!! Join in anytime!!!

lyzziesmom:: Hannah Montana soundtrack, huh? Will the shopping never end!!! Enjoy your night of quiet, you deserve it.
There are tons of restaurants in WDW I haven't tried. I'm pretty much open to what everybody else wants to do. I would like to do WCC on Monday before the P & P Party, if that is alright with you guys. I don't think I would care for Restaurant Marrakesh. April confirmed what I had pretty much suspected about the food. :crazy2:

Michele:: Glad to hear from you. It's so cool that you went to see Bob Seger last night!!! I saw him in concert in St. louis in 1983(?) Pretty sure that was the year!!! He put on a great show!!!

April:: I hope you get to feeling better soon. You can have Steven come chat with us, we wouldn't mind. :smooth:

2x2s:: Happy to see you post today. How late do you have to work? I need to be wrapping presents, but I'm staring at a computer screen instead. Talk with you later, Wilma! :teeth:

QOD:: I really don't think I ever wanted anything for Christmas that I didn't get. I was always into Barbies when I was young. I usually wanted an extra friend for her, clothes and I even had the original Barbie Dream House that was just one room and made of cardboard. It's not that I was spoiled, I just didn't ask for anything too outrageous, that I remember anyway.

Have a great evening everyone. I really must finish wrapping the presents! :cool1:

April, I'm sorry to hear about your migraine. I have suffered from them for years, my first one was my senior year of high school and we won't say how long ago that was :rolleyes1 I had a doctor show me a trick years ago. If you press REALLY HARD in the V of the web between your thumb and index finger it can interupt your migraine somehow and make it go away. It doesn't work everytime I've tried it but sometimes it does. However since you have to press really hard that area starts to hurt :confused3 I guess it's sort of like having someone stomp on your toes to take your mind off a toothache

Took Matt shopping then to a buddies' house. Mike, his friend, is/was on his basketball team but was screwing around in gym class Monday, fell and broke his ankle. He also tore some tendons. He had surgery Tuesday afternoon. No sports for at least 4 months! This is a kid who plays football ( he was brought up to Varsity as a freshman,) plays basketball ( scored 23 points last Friday night) and plays baseball. He is going nuts, bless his heart. He and Matt played videogames all afternoon.

Blake bought all the people who work directly for him a bottle of wine and is now out looking for gift bags for them. Poor thing, he came home from work and we ran to Costco, then picked Matt up from Mike's house. He dropped me off to start dinner and went to get Nick from Kung Fu. As I was dishing up dinner a woman from work called...she couldn't find her wallet and needed Blake to open the building so she could check there ( luckily it was!) He started watching Rudolph and then had to go out to find the gift bags. He is having me TIVO it. He's so cute sometimes.

QOD...I honestly can't remember wanting something that badly, that I didn't get. :confused3 We never had much money growing up but my parents made sure we never felt like it.

My poor parents :sad2: They have a water leak under the slab of their house. The plumber has been there, I think they are waiting until after holidays to take care of it. Their laundry room floor and possibly their bathroom floor will need to be broken up to get to the pipes. They will probably have to move in with us during the whole thing. The kids are so excited to have Gramma and Grampa come to stay with us. Matt says he will finally get fed :confused3

Have a great night everyone!!!

Darn..I just took forever to get caught up and chit chat with everyone and poof....my nice long response up and vanished. :badpc: :badpc:

lyzziesmom what were you saying about "save, save, save" :rolleyes1

Well, I had DH go and look at all my cakes today, birthday well wishes, and the lovely birthday songs. :cheer2: He was pretty impressed. ::yes:: Just a great big THANK YOU I had a nice day for a busy work day...lunch was yummy and then we had some dinner with the family at Red Robins (even got a birthday song there).

I got card from Linda, Mike, and Master Kenny (such a cutie pie) and Amber (thank you...and tell Mike thanks) :thumbsup2 I'm glad everyone is enjoying the card exchange...I sure am!

Well...I had so much to say tonight and now it's almost 12:30....like lyzziesmom....I'm hoping to get to sleep a little late ( the only catch is that my kiddos are home :teeth: ). :cloud9:

Good night and good morning.

ps thanks 2xcited for the heads up on the DIS boards...maybe I will get my presents wrapped. :rotfl2:

I have no idea where to start to try and catch up again. You guys have been just too chatty!!! I feel like I have read, but waaaaaay tooooo much to comment on. I'd be here for hours, days, well, a really long time. :teeth:

Some highlights I do remember------

Lin/Chris and April/Steven---P & PD have already been in the works for all of you on the career path. :grouphug: :grouphug:

YM-----maybe you could arrange for Mickey to call you on Christmas Day to announce your trip in Feb. Wouldn't that go over swimmingly with the boys?? No, I take that back-----that would just be cruel. :guilty:
DON'T DO IT!!!!!! pirate:

Germany sounds fine with me. I went years ago, but I'm pretty sure it has changed since then. WCC before Pirate/Princess sounds like a winner.

Donna----thanks for the muffins, pumpkin!!!! :teeth: I had mine for a midnight snacky-poo.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Where in the world do you get your google instinct?? Your HelloKitty car had me cracking up!!!!

Linda----loved Kenny's autograph on the Christmas cards!!! Too cute!! Great picture.

To all who sent pictures with their cards----I loved seeing them!!!!!!!!

Amber----was it you who compared your in-laws to a cross between the Barones and who was it, the Costanza's?? Now, that's a scary thought!!!! Bless you, girl!!!!!

Nice to see you again, Michele!!!!!!! I was getting a tad worried, but figured Miss Lesa would keep us updated. :teeth:
Enjoy your break from school.

April---sorry about your migraine. They're pretty nasty. Hope you feel better soon.
What????? Steven doesn't want to talk to us????? How dare he!!!! :teeth: :teeth:

Lyzziesmom---congrats on your new-ish computer. You had a little taste of Wilma's world for a while. Sorry you can't continue the fun. Go ahead, leave me in the dust. :smooth:
Your crunchy rice story had me, for some reason, envisioning you and the girls having a scene in A Christmas Story when they went for Chinese after the dogs dismantled the Christmas bird. Fa-Ra-Ra-Ra-Ra.
Oh, and so happy your mom finally realizes we are not just figments of your imagination. Or are we??? :3dglasses

Pozey----Courtney on a sugar high. Tis the season!!! Cute story.

DznyFan----glad you got all of your baskets finished. Do you recall which page the spiced tea is on?? If you don't, not to worry. I'll find it. All of your treats sound luscious!!!

Nicole---I recollect reading something about you wanting to go into the travel agency business. I think that would be so great!!!! You could specialize in Disney!!
How are the cakes coming??

I'm doing this solely from memory because the computer is being a bit testy this evening and I am afraid my post is going to go "poof"----since there must be an epidemic here lately. So please forgive me if I have forgotten anything important. I'll go back when things settle down and regroup.

Night HOOTS!!!!!!

(insert owl)

ooop, just saw that YM had a little computer mishap!!! See what I mean?? :badpc: :badpc:

poof and they're gone.

And----total change of subject---------do you know that Old Navy "sells" boxes?? Craziness!!!! I asked for a gift box WITH A PURCHASE and the response I got was, "we sell gift boxes". pardon me?? :listen: :listen: :furious: :rolleyes1

Night all!!!!

Night Birthday Queenie!!!! Glad we impressed your DH with our baking and singing skills. :dance3:

Good morning Cliqueless Crew!!! It is yet another rainy morning here in Illinois! I want to stay home soooo badly this morning. I guess I'll have to have some good old comfort food and be on my merry way!!!! My Pumpkin Pancakes will be warm and ready when you all are ready for breakfast!!! :)

Nathan is coughing pretty badly this morning. I just went to his room to give him some Pediacare. I hope he doesn't get sick for Christmas, Bless his heart.

I did manage to get my presents wrapped last night. If I don't buy any more; everything is done!!! I have to make a Jello cake to take to Mom's for tomorrow night. We are getting together with my step-nephew on Saturday night to exchange gifts with his family.
Christmas Eve we have decided to go out driving looking at Christmas lights. On Christmas Day we are going to Mom's house again for dinner. I'm baking a Cherry Pie.

Oh my goodness!!! If the Dis is going to be down for two days, I might not be able to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!! So, Merry Christmas!!! (Just in case.)

YourMajesty:: I'm so happy you had a great birthday and enjoyed your dinner at Red Robin!! Would have loved to have been able to join the sing-a-long!!!!

2x2s:: Sometimes my Googling works out wonderfully and sometimes it doesn't!! :teeth: I just got lucky on the HelloKitty car. :cat:

Well, better run!!! We are going to be swamped today. Yesterday half of Centralia decided they had clothes that needed to be cleaned by Christmas!! :rolleyes1
It is also what we call our Office Christmas Party......just an excuse to buy more presents. Nathan and my niece are always there to pass out and receive presents, too. Gary will bring Nathan in later in the morning.

Have a great day and if the Dis is down tonight; talk to you in a couple of days......or whenever!!!! :wave2:

Yes, that was me. It's actually Mike's grandparents. His parents are a little off, but so are my parents so I can't complain. (My grandmother is just like Tony Sopranos mom, although she didn't try to have any of her kids killed).

Ahh, family.

Donna, I hope Nathan gets better soon.

Linda, I got your card. The note made me laugh and Kenny is adorable.

April, I hope your migraine goes away. I was going to give the same advice as Michele; I do that every time I get a headache and it helps. When I get migraines I just have to sit in a dark room with a cool compress.

My boss gave me $50 as a Christmas present (not counting my bonus). I am so excited, but he isn't here today to thank. I am going to brave the mall tonight and see if anything is left at TDS. Wish me luck!

Have a Fabulous Friday!!

I got sooo many Christmas cards yesterday you guys are awesome!! YM those cards are the neatest thing I think I've ever seen! :cool1:

Linda I showed Connor and Ben the picture of Kenny and they were asking where he lived and if it was "close". I told Ben it's a little far and he says "Oh tartersauce!" (too much spongebob!) :rotfl: .

Ashley very sweet that Jeremiah signed his own name (it's usually me signing the whole family's name!).

Lesa forgot to say thanks for the WDW sprinkles that fell out of my card!!

I think I've got everyones but Pozey (I'll let you know if it's empty card). I feel so important getting soooo many cards in the mail.

Darin and I got a babysitter from 12:30-6:30 yesterday and finished all our shopping so just wrapping and we're done just in time huh? We also went to a place called Stir Fry Cafe and I tried Sushi for the first time. We ordered Tempura sushi with shrimp in it and California Roll, it was yummy and suprisingly filling. I was barely able to eat any of what I ordered for dinner since the waiter kept refilling my water glass I think I drank 6 glasses! :teeth:

Ben has got a yucky cough so I'm taking him to the Dr.'s in 5 minutes, it sounds almost croupy. Donna it's raining here too! I will check in later to wish all a Merry Christmas before our beloved board goes down for 2 days!!

Good morning, crew!

I still need to go back and read thru last night, but I did catch 2X's news flash. NOOOOOO! Say it isn't so!

I shared my pre-holiday home pics, and now I'm finally getting around to sharing my holiday home pics! This will be a quickie post, but I'll try to check in during the bakeathon today.
