2x..I can't wait to try those choc. pecan pie bars!!! Mikes uncle just sent us like 5# of pecans :woohoo: Hmmm is that why my jeans are fitting tighter :confused3 oh well, its the holidays :goodvibes

Speaking of pecans....Someone brought us a big box of pecans at work last week and my coworker took them. :furious: I was enjoying those pecans, well I guess that means I don't need to eat them.

Mine is "Breakfast at EconoLodge. By Choice Hotels."

I have the Comfort Sunshine Breakfast at Comfort Inn ad. It must generate ads based on keywords that it finds on the page, sometimes it makes for some really funny results!

Great news! I just got my new-to-me computer installed at work!! It's so refreshing to click something and not have to wait an eternity for something to actually happen!! I am busy configuring everything just the way I like it.

I was at WalMart (again) today at lunchtime... I really hate this particular WalMart but it is just down the street. I had to get diapers and was going to get Emma a package of PullUps for Xmas. I wanted the kind that help her "feel" when she is wet. They didn't have any! The store was completely out of ALL girls PullUps, except for one package of size 5T. Lucky I wasn't having a PullUp emergency!!

pozey: now I'm hoping I'll be the lucky recipient of the "empty" envelope from the pozey household! That was another cute pozey story. How early did your wired little Courtney drop that night, I wonder?

Lesa & Linda: have you been to the scrapbook store at DTD before? I went in September but I only had a few minutes - Dad was waiting for the bus & gave me 5 minutes. I was pretty disappointed. Mostly they had a ton of photo albums. Beyond that, there wasn't really anything I hadn't seen elsewhere on property. I do want to go back though, with more time to look around.

Cross your fingers! I think I may have successfully created my program. I am putting it on a disk right now and we shall see. :cool1:

Lizziesmom...Congrats on finally getting your new faster computer! :cheer2: Now you can work and dis even faster! :thumbsup2 I have been in the scrap booking store. I was not all that impressed. Your right that they seem to have the same things you can find all over property. I always pick up a new album for that trip and a few things like a new punch. I now have 4 trip worth of albums waiting for me to start them. :lmao: I guess you could say I'm more into collecting scrap booking stuff than actually doing it. ;) :teeth:

Well gota run! :moped: Madison is going to get out of school in a few minutes and its now raining. I'll check back later!

yeah I've been there. It is pretty small and limited selection. I bought some things there in April, naturally ;). For me, things just have so much more meaning to me when the come from wdw :cloud9:

Nicole :guilty: I can send you some pecans if you want some :grouphug: Mike made some sugar coated baked ones  I was snacking on those all morning :rolleyes1 no wonder I wasn't hungry at lunch :teeth:

Yay for the new 2 u computer too lyzziesmom :woohoo:

Lesa :rotfl2: collecting the scrapbook stuff huh? :) I was like that too...well Kenny was 5 and hadn't done the first page.... until last year. I had surgery and was off work for 3 months...I got 3 scrapbooks completely done :woohoo: :cheer2:

Good evening, everyone!!! :wave2: Nathan has been on the Dav Pilkey (Captain Underpants) website reading me a 24 page poem. Actually, it was pretty good.

Today I received a card from YourMajesty! :worship: It was so original!!! I loved the pic of your family!!!

My DH is cracking up at me because I NEVER get the mail. Even if he is away for the weekend it will still be in there on Sun. However, if you put a few cards in there from my cliqueless friends...watch out...I'll knock you over on the way to the mailbox :rotfl:
I took my MIL to get her hair cut and set today and when we came home I told her I'd get the mail for her so she could be reading through it this afternoon. (I had to go back to work) In reality I just wanted to check to see who's card/cards I received today!! :teeth: I feel really bad, I didn't open the "other" cards until I got home this evening. :rolleyes1
I hope Sophie gets to feeling better really soon!!! Hopefully the Vet will be able to pinpoint her problem. :dog:

I have the recipe for Peanut Butter Popcorn if you all are really interested.

Donna...You have a wonderful looking family! Madison was asking "who's that boy?" She started blushing when Brittany asked her if she thought he was cute! :lmao:
That is too funny!!!! Nathan has a tendency to smile with his mouth shut. I think he is pretty self-conscious since the dentist told us he needed braces for his underbite.
Sorry Brittany's cookies were a flop...maybe next time she'll listen to her mother!! :teeth:
GOOD LUCK with getting the program together!!!

lyzziesmom:: Yippee!!! You finally got the nu-2-u computer!!!!
Your crunchy rice last night sounded pretty bad. Your goodies today sound ...well...good!!!
I can't seem to stay out of Walmart lately!!! I wonder how much of this "stuff" is really needed. :confused3 I need the peanut M&M's, but not all the other stuff I bought.

pozey:: I'm sorry!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: My mental image of Courtney munching on candy in her room in the middle of the night has me cracking up!!! I'm thinking Daddy Day Care here!!!

2x2s:: How are you feeling? Was it treatment or work day today? Check in when you can.

I have an ad for breakfast at the Econo Lodge! :rotfl:
Wanna guess what's for breakfast??? :teeth: :rolleyes1

One of our customers brought us little homemade Carrot Cakes today. I just had a piece and it's to die for!!! REAL cream cheese icing and everything!!! Yummmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got YM's card today, it's lovely!! I love the new twist on the photo card, very impressive.

All these goodie recipes reminded that I made a(nother) batch of one my favorite treats: seasoned oyster crackers. They are so easy and super tasty! Here's the recipe if anyone wants it:

2 packages of oyster crackers (I have also used one, they come out more flavorful that way)
1 cup vegetable oil
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix
1 tsp dill weed
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt

Combine Ranch Mix & oil, add the other seasonings. Pour over oyster crackers. Heat in warm (250) oven for 15-20 minutes.

The kids are always asking for these, and I even took some to work last week & snacked on them. Emma calls them "Oh Say Crackers" which cracks me up so much I don't correct her!

I also baked my pinwheel cookies today, that I prepared yesterday. They surprisingly came out pretty good!! Although the recipe said it makes 4 dozen, and mine made about 30 cookies.

Lesa & Linda: I am the same way with my scrapbooking. I love to buy supplies, but can never seem to find the time to actually scrapbook! Part of the problem is my desk... it's an old rolltop and it's tiny and rickety. No room to spread out. So I end up with stuff all over the dining room table (which is also small) and by the time I haul everything out, it's time to clean up! I really want a custom-built desk spanning the end of my dining room, but I don't think my dad is quite up to that project yet. ;) Although he loves to build stuff, but he is still in the middle of doing my laundry room. My kitchen is so tiny, the fridge is in the laundry room! So we installed cabinets that are very similar to the existing kitchen, and are going to do the walls & flooring all the same so it will look like an extension of the kitchen.

Do any of you ever watch Supernanny? For some reason that is one of Lyzzie's favorite shows! I have adopted her "naughty chair" approach with Emma and it really works! I put her on a chair the other day after she threw something and I made her stay there for one minute. Today, she threw her blankie at me after I told her not to. As soon as I told her she was headed for the naughty chair, she said, "No, I just want to hug!" I felt so bad making her sit there I couldn't look at her!! But she was an angel for the rest of the night, she said, "Naughty chair... I don't like it!"

Whew, I am really rambling tonight huh? Well I think the kiddos are finally asleep, so I'd better get the one more gift I bought today out of my trunk & wrap it up before I lose momentum.

:wave2: Hey everyone!

So, I have to say I am VERY glad that I am not the only one with multiple scrapbooks to put together...I have three to do! I am resigned to now just do photo albums!

I got YM's card today and it is GORGEOUS!!! You rock!

Yippee for your "new" computer Lyzziesmom!

Dznyfan, I wish we could hang out and make baskets together! Please post a picture of one of yours when its all done; I would love to see it!

Nicole, sending good vibes to you! :sunny:

Night all! (maybe)

Hey, I have a question for you guys. Ashley (my sister-in-law) is no help with our Disney trip planning..she keeps saying she doesn't care about anything and its making me nuts! She always talks about how much she loves planning Disney trips!

So, I want to try something new and since she is no help I knew you guys would be! We aren't on dining plan because I don't qualify but I would love to try a new dining experience that isn't TOO expensive. Any suggestions? Or something else fun we can try!?

lyzziesmom:: Good for you!!! I think Emma is getting the idea of the Naughty Chair. :thumbsup2 It used to break my heart to send Nathan to a timeout, but he always came out of it like a new kid!! I think deep down....WAY deep down they welcome the discipline. :confused3
A special room for me to scrapbook and do my thing is my dream! :cloud9: Right now my MIL is living in it. :rolleyes1 :teeth:

Hi, Lin!!! :wave2:

Donna: Lyzzie has always been very big on discipline and rules. (Well, less lately now that she's entering the snotty years.) Once, after playing with a neighbor kid who gets NO discipline at home whatsoever, she came home and hugged me and said, "Mommy, thank you so much for giving me rules. I don't want to be wild and bad." I have to work at it a little harder with Emma, but I'm so glad to have found something that is working!!

Lin:: I really don't know where you have eaten before, but I would suggest the Princess Breakfast at Akershus. Have you done that before?

ALERT:::: There is a special on Disney/Disneyworld on the History Channel!!

I just remembered something that I meant to share with you guys. My mom was over the other day and saw all the cliqueless cards hanging in my hall. She was looking at the pictures and asking who everyone is. I think she is *finally* starting to understand that you are all "real people" and since then she has not told me - yet again - that she thinks I need to cancel my Feb. trip. In fact, she was asking me about it this morning!

My aunt just got back yesterday from her first visit to WDW with her family. My mom said they enjoyed it but it was too busy (um, we told them it would be) and that they loved the DDP but didn't realize that Rainforest Cafe wasn't on it. The funniest part of the story is my mom, who we all know is not a huge Disney fan (but does enjoy herself while there), said, "I told her she couldn't use it at Rainforest but I guess she forgot." I was just so surprised she even knew that!! My aunt stayed at Pop because my mom told her how much we liked it on our last trip and they loved it too.

You think she was worried about us???? :teeth:

Well, got to get Nathan to bed!!! He is resisting my suggestions to get his butt to bed!!! :confused3

No, I don't think she was worried. I think she just didn't understand when I said I'm going to Disney with friends from my online chat group. It's like seeing the photos made her realize that there really are other real people going, and it's not just something I'm doing "just because."

You know, Chris stopped calling you guys "the dis people" and started calling you my friends after all the cards started to come in. I'm so glad we did this!

Donna, that might be fun. I ate there back when it was just the Norwegian food but haven't been back since 1999. I've never done a Princess meal so I may suggest it.

Well, must get my beauty sleep!!! :cloud9: :teeth: See you all in the morning!!!

Before I sign off for the evening I wanted to wish one of our Cliqueless Chicas a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
