Quiet night tonight.... is everyone out hootin' it up this Saturday evening??

partyowl.gif

I guess so. Well I already told you about my hootin'......sonic followed by a mini wax drink. :rotfl:

Hey...I've been so bored today that I went back and nosed around through the first days of this thread. Lyzziesmom...I just happened to come across one where you had to have a tooth pulled a while back. Now, I'm wondering if they will pull mine. :confused3 Ok...obviously I have teeth on my mind. :teeth:

Hey hooties---

I just got home from the jazz festival. It was okay. I had a glass of wine, which was nice and then it got to be really cold so I had a hot chocolate from Starbucks. I wasn't too crazy about the music that was playing when we were there. It seems that some of the good musicians played more this afternoon and when we were there it was more the Chuck Berry style---which I can take or leave.

YM---when do you plan on seeing your dentist about your tooth?? I don't have any crowns but I'm almost positive my mom had one when she was our age.
I was cracking up at my grandma this afternoon. My grandpa is in the hospital so I stopped by after work to say hello to him. Well, my grandma--the one that reminds me of Grandma Mazur was there and she was telling me that she was mad at my dad last night because he must have dropped her off at home, parked the car in the garage and then took the keys with him. She wasn't happy because she said her body was telling her that she needed chocolate pudding but she didn't have any so she needed to go to the market. Anyway, as she was telling me this, my grandpa chimes in and asks her if her license is even good anymore. She proceeds to pull her wallet out of her purse and gets about six licenses out. The current one is expired, of course and the other five were her consecutive ones from years past. She starts showing me them and says, "oh, here's a good one, I like this picture." I started laughing and told her the cops will really take that as an excuse when they pull her over---no ticket for her because it is a good picture. BTW, she also had a calender from 1997 and a cruise pass key from the same year----must have been a good one. I think I saw my aunt make the sign of the cross. :teeth: A Plum moment, indeed.

Lyzziesmom---Those Art Fairs are ridiculous, aren't they?? It is fun to go but so expensive for any of the merchandise.
Sorry to hear of Emma's accident but glad she was up and dancin' quickly. Things happen so fast with kids!!

Hey 2xcited...funny story...no one did any tippling...did they?

I guess I'll call the dentist on Monday. I think I have an Ortho appt for my falty arm/shoulder/neck..... I stopped whining about that 10 pages ago. :teeth:

Hey...did you finish 11. I think it was #10 in the rereads that I laughed the most. I had forgotten about when Stephanie, Lula, and Connie took the gang member up to Vinnies beach house....then none of them could "hurt" him to make him talk. :lmao: :lmao:

What's my JD on that everone was watching tonight?? I guess I missed him. Maybe later I'll see him again. ;) :teeth:

Where's Donna been today?? Unlike her not to just check in and say hi.
Hi Donna----hi Donna. :wave2: :wave2:

Linda--yep, caved with the old Subway. I was so embarrassed--I had to go into work for a couple of hours today and a guy I work with in the spa---we joke all of the time--but he doesn't play on my side--ya know--wink wink----anyway, he asked me in front of clients how my meatballs were last night. I looked at him and I think we both turned five shades of red as I was biting my lip to keep from laughing. He started laughing and had the nerve to say to his client "private joke" which made me giggle even more. Good thing I knew my client really well. With my new schedule I will only get to work with him once every two weeks, which I hate because we really have a good time when we work together. He makes it fun.

Jill--glad you enjoyed the breakfast.
oh and dont worry all you do gooders the kitchen sink is fat free, sugar free, calorie free, carb free, anything else......

definitely NOT price free!!! :rolleyes1

Nicole----have you seen your countdown ticker?????!!!!!!
3 more days!!!!!!!!!!! You're leaving Tuesday???

DznyFan---glad things are better with Erin. That was nice of you to share your taquitos and ice cream.
Hope you're having fun with your night out.

Hi to Amber, Ash( ;) ;) ), Lesa, MImom, Pozey, April, Angela, and anyone else my mind has forgotten.

Nope, no tippling---but we were in the hospital. :teeth:

Boy, you are just going to torture yourself with doctors/dentists on Monday, aren't you??

I am about 3/4 finished with #11. I'll most likely finish it tonight--definitely tomorrow. I am bummed though because I am almost finished with the series again. What am I gonna do next??
I had forgotten about that too!!! I was laughing so hard when they finally stuck him in the toe with the needle. :lmao:
I am enjoying them all better the second time around!!! I think I am not so "scared" and appreciating the humor more.

Me too....not near as scarey :rotfl2:

I'm a little bummed that I've finished the rereads....geez I need to get well...I really needed a book today. :hourglass

Did you watch Designing Women...I'm watchinng my night cap of Full House and just noticed a commercial for a Designing Women marathon starting Oct something on Nick.... :woohoo: :woohoo: I thought that show was pretty funny.

I only recall watching a couple of episodes of Designing Women. I used to watch the Golden Girls alot in its day, though. I think I've mentioned that I don't have cable/sattelite so I'm kind of out of luck with the reruns now. It's funny---I remember many shows from the 70's but not alot from the 80's and 90's. I'm sure if someone mentions them I will say "ooooohhhh, yeah, forgot about that one."

/
Ya know what, YM?? I think I'm calling it tonight. All of a sudden I can't keep my eyes open. I guess I'll be finishing 11 tomorrow--I mean later on today. Yikes. Have we turned into pumkins yet??

Good night, sleep tight.

Oh...Wilma...I forgot. Actually, it's makes me and DH not watch any current TV. All we watch are sports and reruns. Sometimes I'll see an orginal Disney show...like Suite Life of Zach and Cody... :teeth:

Designing Women has some funny lines....

Well, girlie....I should be tired so I guess I'll try to go beddy bye. :teeth:

:sunny: Goodmorning everyone!

I cant believe that I am the first to post this morning, I am not much of a cook so maybe Donna is busy in the kitchen right now.

YM- I am watching Full House right now :rotfl: I love watching rerun tv more than new tv, Designing Women was funny!

Linda - How is the bathroom coming along? So will you be doing the x-mas shopping today. My mom told me the other week that she has almost all of hers finished. I usually start on back friday and will get last minute things all the way up to xmas eve.

Nicole - here is the going to Disney dance :dance3: Have you started packing yet?

So I wonder what our friend Ashley is up to today?

Good morning precious pixie

Allllright....another rerun gal  I watched full house this am too. DS comandeered my TV...it's Fairly Odd Parents. I used to watch the Designing Women reruns on Lifetime but they don't play them much anymore. Do you remember the one when Mary Joe is going to get a little comestic surgery? When she's trying out "sizes" she said "these things are power...I think if I went up to a D cup I could get into a fist fight." :rotfl2: Hey...are you feeling better?

Yes, where's Donna...she probably has Ashleys itinerary. :rolleyes1 Donna did have a little trouble getting packed for the trip. :teeth:

Ok here's the way I understand it: When you post a picture that you have a copy of on your computer, linked to Photobucket or some other site, what the computer does is this... the link tells the DIS site where to look on your computer to find the picture. If you resize it in Photobucket, then the Photobucket link tells the DIS to resize it before posting it. Y'all with me so far? BUT, here's the kicker.... sometimes something gets lost in the translation, and the DIS will still look for the OLD, un-resized version on your computer. You need to "refresh" your page to update the link, and then it will tell your computer to look for the NEW, resized version. Is that about as clear as mud?

I may not have mentioned this before, but I am a tad bit of a computer geek. I can't do web pages or programming or hacking or anything ubergeeky like that, but I can usually figure things out pretty easily. My degree is in computer graphics, but everything I learned is now hopelessly outdated 11 years later.

Anyway, good morning everyone! What is everyone doing today? My parents are coming over to help with more work on the house, they called this morning from Lowe's trying to explain light fixtures to me over the phone and ask which one I want. I asked my dad to email me photos from his camera phone, but he sent them to my phone instead forgetting that I do not have a camera phone, so they just bought them both and are bringing them over, and will return the one(s) I don't like. We have VERY different taste so we shall see how this turns out! Then I think we are going to check out the annual Plaza Art Fair. We have never been, but it sounds like fun and it's a pretty nice day out today.

I saw a chipmunk run across my back patio this morning. It was too cute! I think it was Chip, because it's nose was not red. It was running too fast to get a good look at it though.

"See" you later, alligators!

:thumbsup2 Thanks! I thought I was going crazy!

Good Morning!

2x2s- I leave on Thursday!!!! :cool1:

Jill- I will pack this afternoon!

Lyzziesmom- I'm glad Emma wasn't hurt. She reminds me of my nephew who is the same age, he hurts himself and a minute later is doing the same thing again!

Linda- Thanks for letting me know about the preorder at Disneyshopping!

Well, I will be off in a little bit to go get my hair cut, get my eyebrows done (2X I'll be there in a little bit! :teeth: ) , run a few more errands and call Disney to confirm everything!

See everyone later!

Lesa....how big is Gracie? Our new dog, Sophie, is 70lbs. We are trying to get used to such a big dog. She is digging some and DH is not happy.
Grace is about 35 lbs and I hope she doesn't get any bigger. Her newest thing is carrying around a stuffed animal in her mouth whining her loudest and wondering the house for a good 10 mins. looking for a place to "bury" it. She has been digging on the floor, couch, beds, you name it. Luckily she has not done it in the yard, but then again she is not aloud out by herself because she manages to run away.

2excited...There is not a quote button on your post of the yummy looking sundae! You must have been a bit winded after that one. ;) :lmao: Vanilla frosties are very addicting. Dh makes frosty runs several times a week. :rolleyes1 You'd think I was pregnant or something. ;) NOT!! :lmao: They definitely are not your friend! ;) Tivo is a must!!!! I don't know how anyone lives without tivo now a days. :sad2: You must get out of the stone age! ;) The story about your grandma has me laughing. :rotfl:

YM...Popcorn did that much damage to your tooth? :sad2: What brand? popcorn:: I want to be sure to stay away from it! ;) $800 YIKES!

Lizziesmom...I'm glad Lizzy was not hurt from her little fall. I cannot believe everyone just stood there looking at her and not helping her up!

Darn it, now I read this!! I just spent an hour scouring the disneyshopping.com site looking for something to order with my Mickey doorknocker! I needed the doorknocker to go with my new Mickey doorbell plate, and since the shipping costs more than the item, it seemed silly not to order something else to go with it. A few weeks ago they had a mailbox, the kind that attaches to the mail slot on the house which is what I need, but I can't find that anymore. Now they just have the kind of mailbox that goes on a post, which I don't need, plus it's like $109 - way out of my budget. I ended up getting the doorknocker and a personalized doormat. But POC2 would have been nice, since I plan on getting it anyway, plus the gift card is always a bonus. I didn't even think to look at the movies!!! Do they have a slapping forehead smiley?
I just may have what your looking for! :smooth: We purchased the doorknocker and mailbox. The doorbell plate would not fit where our doorbell is, but I love the mailbox I have recieved so many complements on it. :cool1: DH has yet to hang up the doorknocker. Did yours come with a strike plate? Ours didn't. Now back to where I may have what you need. When they sent me the mailbox the character plate was not screwed onto the mailbox. I called them and they sent me a new one. So I now have 2. (Long story) Anyway, PM me if you want one.

Well I'm off to take Madison to pick out a cake. Tomorrow is her birthday! :cool1: Nothing like putting things off to the last minute. :rolleyes1

Have a great day everyone!

Happy Sunday!!!!!!!!

Hey, good news for everyone involved in the Cliqueless Convention (not so sure it's good news for me though)----I was just playing over on Allears--ya know, drooling over menues--I am definitely NOT restricting myself in Oct. OR in Feb.----anyway I for some reason clicked on rehabs/refurbs and RnR is not mentioned AT ALL!!!!????? I then came over here on DIS and checked the same thing and....nada.......WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? Maybe they knew the Crazy Cliqueless were a-comin' and changed their minds?? Oh well, thought you all would be excited about this news.

p.s. have you ever noticed that I have the worst run-on sentences because I always have a thought within a thought within a thought?? Just a thought. :confused3 :teeth:

Where's Donna??? I may have to send out the troops now!! ;) Maybe she is secretly working for People Magazine as a paparazzi photographer and her assignment really is Ashley and Jeremiah's Disneymoon. hmmm. :confused3 :teeth: (I'm starting to develop this smilie combo--work in progress.)

Jill---you were an early birdie this morning--for a Sunday. How are you feeling?? Have your meds kicked in??
You sound like me the Christmas shopping. In my younger days ( :confused3 :teeth: ) I was always so prepared and on it-----now------HA!!! I'm lucky if I get a list together 2 weeks prior!! I must change this---too much stress. I remember the December right before I was diagnosed with my autoimmune thingy---I knew something was wrong but didn't have "time" to deal with it. I worked all day on the Saturday before the holiday and went to the mall directly after. I was hot and clammy and I felt like I just wanted to lay down in the middle of the mall and sleep. I don't know how I pulled it together that year because nobody else knew I was sick---I didn't want to worry anyone but in the back of my mind I was going nuts. But, I got my shopping done!! :teeth: (oop, different combo this time)

Hey YM---(every time I type this I am thinking "Young Miss" :teeth: )----I would most definitely watch the reruns if I had the resources. Babe, I've only had my computer for a little over a year now. WHAT?? you say?? tipple. :teeth: Noooo, Cupcake--say it isn't so!!!!

Nicole---Yay for Thursday!!!!! :dance3:
I don't work on Sundays, but for you sweetpea---come on by--I'll get those brows into shape and you'll look beautious for Mickey.
Have fun getting all prepared today!! :cool1:

Lesa---I think it is a riot when dogs carry stuffed animals around like they're their babies. When I was in high school we had a schnuazer --I think I just botched that one, but oh well---and his name was Cricket. We got him a Jiminy (that one too :confused3 ) Cricket animal from WDW and it was his favorite!! He didn't try to bury it though---too funny of Gracie.
I know, I know----about the stone age----this is why I have officially nicknamed myself "Wilma". Sad, isn't it?? I promise I'll look into it. :teeth:
Yeah, thanks-- now I'm having a sudden urge for Wendy's. Crap.
There's one right down the street. I should go with my original plan and go to Whole Foods. We'll see which way my car wants to drive. :moped: :teeth:
Frost..........slap slap..............fruit is my friend. :rolleyes1

Happy early birthday to Madison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bday: :cake:

Lyzziesmom/spelling nazi----does it count against us if we call ourselves on the impending spelling error?? Just wondering. :confused3 :teeth: pirate:
Did you pick out a light fixture yesterday?? What's on the agenda for today??

DznyFan---how was your get together last night?? I always love to hear about what people serve at their gatherings. I'm not food/drink obsessed, am I??

Linda---did ya see the news above?? RnR---double check me, k??

Ash----you'd best be having fun Little One!!!!!!! --(poet).
Hi to MImom, April, Amber, Pozey and everyone else I may have missed.

GOOD DAY!!!!!!!!!! :dance3:

As you may have noticed from my previous post that I have gone a bit smilie happy yet once again. I even had to go through and cut back because the :badpc: computer wouldn't allow the post without said adjustments. So, being done, I got this hair-brained idea.

I know it is Sunday but this is the Official Smilie Pop Quiz.

Hi everyone!

I am all done with my errands (except packing), when I called Disney to confirm everything, the cm that I was talking to said that 99% of people in the hotels had taken advantage of the fdp!!!!! :scared1: Oh well, hopefully it shouldn't be too bad!

2x - you had me laughing so hard with that quiz, very cute! :rotfl2:
I am feeling about 80% better I am still wicked tired all the time. I am planning on going to both work and school tomorrow so we shall see if I make it. If anything I may leave work early to grab a quick nap bc I really dont want to get too behind in school. Everyday is little better so hopefully I wont have any problems.

Nicole - sounds like you are just about ready to go. Are you an overpacker I sure am. I think I bring just about my whole closet with me on trips.

I think we should send out a search party for everyone, are they all out searching for JD he is over here ladies :teeth:

Yes I ama overpacker Jill! I think I have everything I need, I weighed my luggage and it's at 40lbs I think!!!! I just have the feeling that I am forgeting something! :confused3

ARRRGGHHH

I had a full post done and lost it! :furious:

It has been a weird weekend around here. Blake and I had a stupid argument yesterday and never really worked it out. Needless to say, since we were barely speaking we didn't go out for our anniversary. Maybe we should just give up and try again in Nov for my birthday?

I don't think I have mentioned this but yesterday we started a series of meetings and testings for Matt to see if he really does have ADD. I have thought he does for a while now. His ped says that if he wasn't diagnosed by age 7 then he doesn't have it but I see so many signs. When he was at the MS I could keep an eye on him and one of the SpEd teachers kind of took him under her wing and would work with him too. He was placed in a Language! class she taught. His reading/comprehension skills were very poor. He was in there for 1 1/2 years and it really helped. I had the school psychol test him and all she told me was that he isn't LD.

It has taken me almost a month to get him in for this testing. The funny thing is the lady I have been talking to has a pretty thick German accent. Imagine my surprise yesterday when she introduces herself - she's this tiny Asian woman! I almost fell off my chair when she started talking

Hopefully I can get Matt the help that he needs.

Speaking of Matt....the coach told him he would start at QB this week. I am bummed tho. Blake will miss seeing him cause he leaves tomorrow for India and my mom, who goes to almost all of his games, probably will miss it too. She is in IL, my sister is having a hysterectomy tomorrow. So mom took the train to help out with her. Keep an eye on Mom, Lesa!!

Lesa...my first thought when I saw the picture of Gracie was...What the
&*($ have you done to that poor dog??? :rotfl2:

Nicole...3 days!! How exciting!!! Take me with you, Please!!!

Hi...2x2, Pozey, YM, Amber, Ashley, Jill, Lyzziesmom and everyone else I am missing
