:lmao: I think it was more to do with how big Gracie was, but some how by magic it was fixed. The powers that be must be lurking! ;)

Ok here's the way I understand it: When you post a picture that you have a copy of on your computer, linked to Photobucket or some other site, what the computer does is this... the link tells the DIS site where to look on your computer to find the picture. If you resize it in Photobucket, then the Photobucket link tells the DIS to resize it before posting it. Y'all with me so far? BUT, here's the kicker.... sometimes something gets lost in the translation, and the DIS will still look for the OLD, un-resized version on your computer. You need to "refresh" your page to update the link, and then it will tell your computer to look for the NEW, resized version. Is that about as clear as mud?

I may not have mentioned this before, but I am a tad bit of a computer geek. I can't do web pages or programming or hacking or anything ubergeeky like that, but I can usually figure things out pretty easily. My degree is in computer graphics, but everything I learned is now hopelessly outdated 11 years later.

Anyway, good morning everyone! What is everyone doing today? My parents are coming over to help with more work on the house, they called this morning from Lowe's trying to explain light fixtures to me over the phone and ask which one I want. I asked my dad to email me photos from his camera phone, but he sent them to my phone instead forgetting that I do not have a camera phone, so they just bought them both and are bringing them over, and will return the one(s) I don't like. We have VERY different taste so we shall see how this turns out! Then I think we are going to check out the annual Plaza Art Fair. We have never been, but it sounds like fun and it's a pretty nice day out today.

I saw a chipmunk run across my back patio this morning. It was too cute! I think it was Chip, because it's nose was not red. It was running too fast to get a good look at it though.

"See" you later, alligators!

Goodmorning everyone :sunny:

Amber I am glad tht you FIL is going to be all right.

Sounds like everyone needs a trip to the dentist. You can count me in but I have always been one of those people that just dont like going to the dentist. Maybe if my dentist looked like JD and offered me rum instead of novacaine things would be different.

Heck yeah Jill! That sounds a lot better than those tv's they put in the ceiling at some dentist offices.

Good morning.... :sunny:

Hey Dznyfan....I wondered where you went last night...darn internet. :teeth:
Sounds like I could ignore my chipped tooth for a while...I'm just missing one corner. ;)

Hey precious pixie  How are you feeling?

Lesa....how big is Gracie? Our new dog, Sophie, is 70lbs. We are trying to get used to such a big dog. She is digging some and DH is not happy.

Lizziesmom....hope you enjoy your day. Did you guys have any storms yesterday or last night. It is pretty here this am. We had a storm or two during the night.

Amber, glad you posted an udate about your FIL and that all is well. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Thanks for the well wishes.

I guess I get another lazy day. DH is taking the boys to a birthday party. My part was to get the gifts...done. If laying around makes you well I should be good to go soon.

Good Morning--almost afternoon N/C'ers

I was awake really early and read a bit then fell back to sleep. I was nice and cozy with my blanky and it was storming outside. I don't feel like going to work for two hours this afternoon. That means I will actually have to get up and shower and get dressed. Not to mention try to cover up my friendly waving pimple. :wave2: :teeth: Oops, I just realized what may be the problem. Since I have not been allowing myself sugar, I do allow myself a piece of really good dark chocolate as a treat. Well, I just had some for breakfast. Nice. No wonder I have a greeting entity on my chin. Hormones---- :sad2: :sad2: .

Since it is raining outside and possibility of severe thunderstorms this afternoon, I'm not sure if the jazz festival is on or off. I guess we'll see when the time comes.
I know of so many weddings today too---those poor brides. One is a really good client of mine. She has been planning this for two years now. I saw her on Thursday and we permed her lashes, brow wax and you know what wax. I hope she has a good day despite the weather.

Lesa---I must have missed you last night. Vanilla frosty, huh?? Why do these places always come out with new stuff when I have fended them off?? So tempting.
Fruit is my friend, fruit is my friend.
Gracie looks cute in her dino costume.
I watched a couple of episodes of G'sAnatomy first season and fell in love with it but for some reason I kept forgetting it was on Sunday nights so I would miss alot. Now it is on Thursday?? Even worse---I work until nine every Thursday so I am lucky I get home before 9:30. And don't even think to ask Wilma if she has Tivo. :teeth:

YM---Babe, I've got bad news and I've got good news. Which do you want first?? I know, such a cliche---can't the Pin-cess come up with something more original??
I spoke to my mom this morning and she said there is a good chance you may need a crown---depends how big the chip is. If it is small enough, they may just fill it but your tooth would be a bit weak. The good news---she said getting a crown is no big deal. :confused3 Her opinion, I suppose.
How are you feeling this morning, otherwise?? Just keep thinking of our Cliqueless Convention coming up. :yay:
I thought of you when I was reading this morning. I really do think I am Steph in #11---first the cello --second, her giving up doughnuts/me giving up sugar----at least she has Morelli and Ranger to help her along with her jelly doughnut squishing problem. :furious: :rolleyes1

Amber--so glad to hear Mike's dad is out of the woods--if he was ever in them?? Families can be so dramatic sometimes. I hope he is feeling better very soon.

DznyFan--- :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:
I hate when that happens---I thought you suddenly disappeared off the radar.
Have things smoothed over with Erin this morning??

Lyzziesmom---Yep, clear as mud to us (me) computer challenged. :teeth:
I have a client/friend whose daughter goes to KU (also a client) and they are meeting at the Art Fair in the Plaza. I thought of you when she told me this. I was really tempted to go with them but since I have to work a bit today, couldn't swing it. Sounds like fun.
Good luck with picking out you fixtures. Have fun today!!!

Pr. Pix---how are you feeling this morning?? Better, I hope.
Hey, if my dentist looked like JD and fed me rum, he wouldn't get very much done---as far as working on my teeth, that is. :rolleyes1 Oops, did I just say that?? :scared1: pirate:

Donna---are you still sleeping?? you sleepy head. Where's breakfast??
That's okay--I'll cook--or at least pick something up.
Maybe we'll continue with the ice cream for breakfast---because it's almost lunch, ya know--

sink1.jpg

That's just for you Jill!! :teeth:

Hi to everyone else.

Have a Stupendous Saturday, Savvy??!!

p.s. Donna----whenever you have a moment---Ash's day agenda requested, s'il vous plait. Merci. ;)

oooh, sorry that photo is so big-----I hate when that happens---you keep having to scroll here and there to even read the darn post. And you know, I am not a woman of few words here.

Gotsta run.

:dance3: :dance3:

   :donald: :donald: :donald: my first internet fit.

I'm too young for a crown. The whole corner is missing so it like looking at a tooth with a corner sliced off. Darn popcorn. :furious:

2xcited...thanks for asking your mom...my mom said the same thing...and then ask if I had insurance. :teeth:

I do...it proabably on cover a silver crown or something ugly....so I will need to pay an extra $800 or something so it will look like a tooth...I'm thinking positive. :rolleyes1

Oh 2x you have really made my day with that picture :teeth: , oh and dont worry all you do gooders the kitchen sink is fat free, sugar free, calorie free, carb free, anything else...... :rolleyes1

Of course if you dont believe me then we can all just do some jumping jacks aferwards :yay: well I guess to really work it off we may have to do this :bounce: :Pinkbounc  :dance3: :yay: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Good afternoon/evening!

I was just flying in stealth mode.... :rotfl2:

Yeah, we're fine today - we don't stay mad at each other for long, but when we are mad it's really mad - like hanging up on each other and such. Real mature, huh? Well, she hung up on me first! Actually we were fine last night after she got home from work, and we stayed up late and watched the Gray's Anatomy season premiere. She also appreciated the taquitos and Haagen-Dazs. ;)

Mmmmm..... if that were the case I'd be saying to heck with the dental work!!

YM - crowns are really no big deal - I've had a couple crowns - and I think my first was when I was around 33. Gotta love growing up on a ranch with non-fluoridated well water... But, the crown that I didn't lose is fine! And yes, you can get the nice white porcelain ones. I understand they hold up better.

Well, I'm off - we have a gathering with food, drinks, and friends tonight. :wave2:

Hey Dznyfan....glad you and your DD enjoyed the taquitos and Haagen-Dazs. :thumbsup2 Ok, good to know about the crown...ok anyone else have one and at what age. (I'm just kidding) :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: (do you think this little guy has porelain...they look good) :rotfl:

Enjoy your gathering...sounds like fun!

YM - you are not too young for a crown. Lyzzie has one, and I think she got it when she was 4. Of course, she was on Medicaid at the time and they would only pay for the silver one, I didn't get to choose. Actually I didn't even know that's what they were going to give her at all. She went in with a tiny cavity and came out with a silver tooth! Apparently the tiny cavity got huge between the time they found it and the follow-up visit a MONTH later. Darn state medical program. Thank goodness it is in a molar so it's not real visible. She calls it her "robot tooth" and thinks it's pretty darn cool.

The Art Fair today was interesting, but man was it crowded! I told Lyzzie it reminded me of Disney during a semi-crowded season and her jaw dropped - she has only ever been during off season. There were a bunch of kids activities and we came home with bags full of junk that is going right into the trash tonight. Radio Disney had a booth set up so of course we had to stay and watch the teens sing & dance. It was not that great, but the kids loved it. I had a bad parent moment: I let Emma out of her stroller to dance. We were sitting on the ground to one side of the front row of folding chairs, and the "stage" was in front of the other end of the row. Pretty soon the kids made their way to the other end of the row of seats, and Emma climbed up on the very last folding chair in the row, which was recently vacated. I could only see her feet sticking off the end of the seat, but Lyzzie was right there with her. Next thing I know, her little feet disappeared from view! I ran over, and there was Emma lying on the ground, folded up in the chair, crying her little head off. Some lady told me "I don't think she hit her head" but of course nobody helped her, they just stood around so I couldn't get to her easily. She was fine and up dancing a few minutes later, but it scared the you-know-what out of me! Other than that, we had a great time but man oh man is my back killing me now. I didn't buy any art - besides the fact that I didn't see much that I liked, the prices were scary! $1600.00 for a painted wooden bowl... yikes!!

Lyzziesmom - I am glad to hear that Emma was ok maybe she saw all the pics of Courtney in her cast and thought it looked real cute :teeth:

:wave2: Hey everybody! yeah...lyzziesmom...we'll have to talk in Feb. ::yes:: glad Emma was ok, I bet that did scare you :scared: That was nice of your parents to do your floor :cool1:

2x...you finally caved for some meatballs huh :teeth: can't blame you. I love subway. Chicken and bacon ranch wrap Yum...

well today Mike and I put tile down in our bathroom :woohoo: tomorrow we'll have to do the grout. We did some Christmas shopping... just looked w/Kenny w/us so I could see what really made his little face light up :rolleyes1 then I'm going to go back tomorrow alone and really go shopping :woohoo: ...definitely going to get him a new bike! we just came in from relaxing in the hot tub and now Mike is watching POC...oh and on disneyshopping.com they have POC 2 pre-order it for 19.99 and get a $10 gift card  plus they have that for Hanna Montana, Cars and a few other new dvd's coming out. Not bad!

DznyFan...glad you and Erin were better last night :cheer2:

I better go watch poc for a little bit popcorn::

Darn it, now I read this!! I just spent an hour scouring the disneyshopping.com site looking for something to order with my Mickey doorknocker! I needed the doorknocker to go with my new Mickey doorbell plate, and since the shipping costs more than the item, it seemed silly not to order something else to go with it. A few weeks ago they had a mailbox, the kind that attaches to the mail slot on the house which is what I need, but I can't find that anymore. Now they just have the kind of mailbox that goes on a post, which I don't need, plus it's like $109 - way out of my budget. I ended up getting the doorknocker and a personalized doormat. But POC2 would have been nice, since I plan on getting it anyway, plus the gift card is always a bonus. I didn't even think to look at the movies!!! Do they have a slapping forehead smiley?

Hi lyzziesmom...so I see I wouldn't be the youngest with a crown. We went to sonic tonight and I decided I needed some wax for this tooth until I can get it fixed. I made my DH drive me to the Dollar Tree so I could buy some of those wax mini drinks. My DS had picked those out to go in some party favor sacks for his birthday. Their real name is Nik-L-Nip...made with real fruit juice. So now I have a glob of wax on it... but nothing is scratching my tongue.

Sorry about Emma's accident at the Art Fair. :grouphug: I'm glad she wasn't hurt.

Hi Linda and Precious pixie....

Quiet night tonight.... is everyone out hootin' it up this Saturday evening??
