Good morning Cliqueless Crew!!! I think I'm in the mood for a good old-fashioned breakfast this morning!!!! I'll take my eggs over-easy!!!

Well, the bad weather hasn't hit yet, but expected by mid/late afternoon. Gary is staying home from work today, I'm relieved to know he won't be driving to St. Louis. The temps are still in the 50's here, but has been raining.

Sounds like we're all in line to get a nasty snow storm. They are calling for 6-12" of snow here. I hope everyone stays safe! I am suppose to take the girls to see The Nutcracker tonight, I hope it holds off until we get home.

Lin...I don't know how I missed your anniversary! Happy belated anniversary!

2x2...Glad to hear everything is going well with Luca!! Sorry to hear your grandma is still not eating. She's still in my thoughts and prayers! Stay safe out there in that nasty weather! I thought of you when I had my vanilla frosty last night!

Your DH is lucky to have the opportunity to stay home today----I wouldn't want to be driving all the way through St. Louis either if I were him----especially on your back roads.
Hopefully the weather will hold out until Nathan is home.

Well, I guess I'll start getting ready for my day. It's still just raining and is not supposed to change over until later on today. But, that doesn't really help me because I work until 9pm. Maybe people will start cancelling.

We are out of school today so I'm not going into work. This mess should be changing into snow...but it's mostly sleet and freezing rain still. I'm afraid that we are already having power issues...good for now but it's flicked on and off aobut 6 times...

Hey 2x - that weather sounds familiar! It is still icy & slippery and just goshdarn COLD. It snowed on top of the ice, which is always lovely to drive around in. Not much else to report, except that my back & leg are killing me something awful today - the meds aren't making a dent.

Sounds like a lot of you are going to get the storm that moved through here yesterday. Be careful and stay home if you can. The snowstorm moved out but it's bone-chilling cold outside ( woke up to -3)!

YM- I agree that Christmas is my favorite, but I also agree that by the time it's over I practically fall over from exhaustion.

Anyway-- Gotta feed the kiddo and bundle him up to go to school. It's bad enough that he has a hurt foot he's walking on, but now he'll have to try and walk with all the winter gear on too. Actually, it is kinda' funny to watch him waddle around with all the stuff on Poor kiddo!

YM - Stayin' home today, eh?? I was going to, but I have some things I've got to do today, so I came in. As we're supposed to get several inches of snow on top of this ice, I'll probably stay home tomorrow. (YAY! 3 day weekend!)

Lyzziesmom - what a miserable trip home for you yesterday, but glad you made it home safely. Did you go in today? Prayers for some relief from your pain! It sucks that your meds aren't working, especially considering all you went through with this last treatment.

You guys are all cracking me up this morning!

DznyFan, yes I'm sittin' here at work today. Had to come in, it's PAYDAY!! The main roads have been cleared so it was a lot better, but my neighborhood is still sheeted with ice. This afternoon: more snow!

My mom called a few minutes ago, Lyzzie & her friend are out sledding in the neighbor's (very sloped) driveway. How fun! I sure miss snow days - from the 4th grade on I lived in the south where there was no such thing. Actually, now that I think about it, when I lived in Dallas it did snow one day and the entire city just about shut down!

2x, Arbor Day? I should've expected a smarty-pants answer from you! Too silly, girl. Happy to hear there have been no more episodes for little Luca. Perhaps it was just "one of those things?" Tell your grandma we all said she needs to eat!!

Lesa, enjoy the Nutcracker! I took Lyzzie 2 years ago, and would you believe it was my first time too?? We missed it last year, but I am hoping to go again this year. I think I mentioned that I have to go downtown to the box office to get discounted tickets. I'm considering just paying full price so I can order them online, especially with this weather.

Yolanda, your description of your DS waddling around is so funny! It reminds me of "A Christmas Story" - my favorite holiday movie - where the little brother is all bundled up and yelling "I can't put my arms down!" and the mom tells him he can put his arms down when he gets to school.

All that hot chocolate woke up my sweet tooth!

DznyFan & YM, I hope you don't lose power! That's always so scary. My first winter here in KC the power was out all over town for days, and I went to Target while they were on generators. It was so odd.

I'm hoping they close the mall early, but I don't see that happening unless they lose power, which I also don't see happening.

I decided to reschedule my treatment this morning, but I still have to go to work. Yes, YM, we live in a vain, vain world-----but, it does pay my bills. I went back to sleep for a bit earlier and had a dream that my work called me and told me not to come in. hahahhahahaha --------like that't gonna happen!!

p.s.---am I right in assuming that Keagan is your only child?? I'm assuming because of your screen name and you always talk about a kiddo, not kiddoes. Forgive me if I'm wrong----because, if you ask Lyzziesmom----I was totally off when I first "met" her---thought she had three girls.

pozey: I love the pics of your kids!!! They don't even look miserable sitting out in almost 70 degree weather with winter sweaters on. So, who do the kids look like? I see two separate looks between Colton and Chase. Courtney seem to be the in-between or "missing link" that tie the boys' looks together. I was just curious. Everyone says Nathan looks just like me. I think that is true, but sometimes he acts just like his father!!

Most people say that Chase and Courtney look more like me, and that Colton looks more like DW. My hair color is slightly lighter than Chase's.

No, that's not our backyard. There's a walking trail in this neighborhood right down the road. We went down there and took the pictures. It is a very nice setting. I really would like to edit out the houses in the background, but just haven't.
