Winter has arrived! When I left for lunch, it was cold. When I came out of the store, it was raining freezing rain, and the rear window of my car was totally iced over. Good thing I brought my gloves today!
My attorney just called me... she is working on getting me a new, revised copy of Emma's birth certificate and it should be here before the end of the year!! We were not sure if we could do this (no precedent) so I'm very excited!! While I was on my cell phone with her, the work phone rang and I don't know what happened, but it was beeping at me for several minutes and the more I tried to fix it, the more it beeped at me! Once I finally got that fixed (I still have no clue what stopped it) I was just about to take a big bite of a swiss cake roll, and of course I look up and a very handsome visitor is standing there watching me stuff my face with chocolate. Ugh, I swear sometimes I feel like a walking sitcom. They offered me a headset for my phone and I declined... I can just imagine myself walking away from the desk, still connected to the phone!!
I keep reading about all the ice, freezing rain and cold cold weather. I am happy to report that we are wonderfully warm

at a comfortable 71 degrees!

Gosh, I love the south!!!!! I am definately meant for this weather. The only place better I can think of is Florida.
Lyzziesmom:: This is great news about Emma's birth certificate! Very cool that you're setting a precedent too!!

lyzziesmom...that is awesome!!! Yay Emma!!
I still haven't heard from my atty. yet on a new court date
OH... I got a great call... apparently Kenny won't have a stepmom much longer

I guess they found her truck keys in a room at the Holiday Inn. she just got a new car so guess she didn't need those truck keys to leave. She's having an affair w/another atty..and naturally he's married too I guess this is her FIFTH marriage. Lasted less than a year. I am just so glad she'll be out of the picture!!!

the x called to ask if he had Kenny tomorrow night only or all weekend b/c he forgot...and boy oh boy...That was sure interesting!!!
Yay!!! Linda, this is great news!! FIFTH marriage???? Whoa, let's just ignore the
BRIGHT RED FLAGS shall we? Well, hopefully this works out in your and Kenny's favor! You have a wonderful family and home.

Cliqueless Question of the Day:
What is your favorite holiday?
Why Christmas, of course.

I even got married in December so that I could have a "Christmas wedding". I think it all started with my grandmother, God Rest Her Soul. She decorated her house until it literally looked like Christmas threw up! But boy was it great as a kid. It was so magical inside and out and I'd have to say that's what cultivated my love for all things Christmas.

BTW----why do all the little boys get the beautiful eyelashes??? Darling pic---Linda!!!
I ask the same thing! My DH has the longest "prettiest" (DON'T tell him I called his lashes pretty, I think he'd lash me with a wet noodle

) lashes. I have to curl mine and goop em up with mascara

Luca update---so far no more "episodes" since Monday, but he is being watched like a hawk.
Grandma update----still not eating and is getting very weak. Her infections are still improving. My mom seems to think they will have to put her in a nursing home----but that's just her opinion.
Glad to hear some good news about Luca.

My grandmother had to go in the nursing home a time or two after being released from the hospital. Almost like extended care. It wasn't permanent. But, like one time she got pneumonia and was put in the hospital and then from there the nursing home for about a month to kind of rehabilitate. My grandmother did the same thing too with the not eating. It's frustrating especially when we were little she would force
us to eat and then she wouldn't eat even when we told her she NEEDED to in order to get stronger and go home. I will continually pray for your Grandma.

I'm another cliqueless one!
Might I join this clique???
I'm so jealous of everyone getting cold weather. I live in South Florida and it will be 85 degrees here today.
I've had a coat for 20 years and it looks brand new.
Welcome!!! Please feel free to jump right in! I love hot, sunny weather. We're at a just right 71 right now.

April - I guess you're one of the lucky ones, too.... want some snow?
No, I'm good, thanks.

I was just saying to DH today, when White Christmas came on, "I'm so not dreaming of a white Christmas!"

Pozey, you were a beautiful child and little Courtney looks just like you! You have beautiful children. Thanks for sharing your pic. with us.
Well, we've decided to go with the
Disney Dining Plan. Last night Steven and I took the time to sit down and go through our itinerary and then choose where we'd like to eat. Today, Steven called

WDW-DINE to set up those ressies. I almost fell over because my DH has NEVER taken this much interest in planning our trips. I'm the one who is always laboring over the computer and guidebooks for the best plan of action. He's always just goes along for the ride. He never even called MS before this year to make a reservation. Maybe he's feeling bad over the penguin.

I don't know but I sure do like it! We're eating at some places that we've always wanted to try but just never did. Most definately because of the price. However, with the
DDP it would be worth it to us. Some of the places that we'll be trying for the first time: Marrakesh in Morroco, Ragland Road in Downtown Disney and the Hollywood Brown Derby in MGM. We are looking forward to trying these new places.
I don't think we're going to do
MVMCP. We've done it 3 other times and I'm kind of torn over it. DH says he's not interested in doing another one this year. He also said Thursday is out of the question (which is one of the nights MVMCP is happening) because he has something planned for us. . . in Downtown Disney.

Hhhhhmmmmm??? Could it be??? Might I even allow myself to get excited?? Do you think it might be. . . Cirque du Soleil????

I don't know what it is but
I'm thinking that's what he wants to surprise me with I've always wanted to go to Cirque! So, that would leave me with a Friday MVMCP and then we have an early Segway Tour (7:45am) at Epcot on Saturday. So, I'm thinking MVMCP is out even though, I have enjoyed them in year's past. But it is Christmas, my most favorite time of the year, and I love the MVMCP festivities. Decisions, decisions. What do you all think? I'm open for suggestions.
Oh, and thanks for suggesting the DDP. I think it's going to work out nicely for us.
