Cliqueless Question of the Day:
What is your favorite holiday?
What is your favorite holiday?

lyzziesmom said:I finally made it home!! Thank goodness my mom called & offered to keep the kids tonight, it is BAD out there. The ice on my car was so thick, I broke my scraper! Luckily someone else was leaving right when I looked at the stubby end where the scraper should be and said, "Oh CRAP!" and he helped me scrape the rest of my car (and pry my door open - I had to go in through the passenger side to turn the defroster on). I'm telling you, Feb. can't come fast enough!!
I now see why my dad kept telling me I need new tires. At one intersection, my tires just kept spinning & the car wouldn't go anywhere. I was getting freaked out, and other cars kept honking at me, and it only made it worse. I finally got home, but the 5-minute drive took me 1/2 hour. I need to go pick up a Rx from the pharmacy across the street before my insurance runs out (tomorrow is the last day) but I am too scared to go out again. Hopefully by tomorrow the streets will be cleared.
I hope this ice storm passes quickly and none of the rest of you get it!
DonnaLeah said:pozey: I love the pics of your kids!!! They don't even look miserable sitting out in almost 70 degree weather with winter sweaters on. So, who do the kids look like? I see two separate looks between Colton and Chase. Courtney seem to be the in-between or "missing link" that tie the boys' looks together. I was just curious. Everyone says Nathan looks just like me. I think that is true, but sometimes he acts just like his father!!![]()

One of my favorite things to do, however, is to put some Christmas music on in the car and drive around and look at lights. I still tear up, too, when I hear the Nativity Story (maybe this is why Charlie Brown's Christmas is still my favorite when Linus, I think it is, quotes it)
So, with Christmas being kind of crazy I find myself really loving and enjoying Easter. There is something about the "newness" of the springtime, the pastel colors, seeing all of the little girls and boys dressed up at church and then getting to hunt for eggs, etc. So, I have to say Easter is right up there with Christmas, if not bypassing a bit because it is not so hectic and I get to actually enjoy it.

I don't mind wrapping---I just get frustrated very easily when my creases don't turn out nice and crisp, so I end up taking five times longer than needed on one present.![]()

And with our ice storm supposed to take place over night I don't imagine tomorrow will be much better. The worst part is that we have extended mall hours which means we open at 9 and close at 10 Sunday-Friday and are open 7-10 on Saturday. It makes for some long days! I hope the holiday traffic gets better quick; I could really use a bonus this month!
I missed most of what has been going on with your family. I picked up bits and pieces but never found the entire story. So sorry to hear things are tough right now! You are in my prayers!
Hope tomorrows treatment goes well! (or is it on Friday?)
