The second picture is all five boys that we had to go find this morning. They are at my fence. All the white is 100% sleet. It just started to snow here about 10 minutes ago.

January and February would be our best chance of getting snow if we were going to get it. If we did, from what I understand, it's about an inch at most and never lasts more than a day. I can live with that.

Lyzziesmom... wow...glad you got home ok last night...burrrr. I hate ice. I worked in Vermont during an ice storm and no one had power for a month NO thank you! yay for lyzzie being ok w/o her blankie. you took yours to college I don't remember ever having any security blanket or anything. Kenny did til he was like 2 1/2...he lost it at the mall. I was so scared I wouldn't sleep for a week. I just told him... you lost it...tough you're not getting it back...he didn't cry for it once! SHEW thank goodness.

ym... cute pix. sophie just looks so lovable!! Looks like the boys were having fun. Sounds way too cold for me! I'm afraid that nasty weather is headed this way.

pozey...nice pix. here at first I was thinking you were going to post a recent pix. you can see the resemblance though. Kenny looks just like his dad.... the guys at work joke that I cloned him. Thank goodness he doesn't ACT like him

Hi everyone-

This has to be quick because my laptop barely has any battery. I wanted to tell everyone that I will not be having a computer for probably the next two weeks, my laptop is having issues and it needs to be sent out. I wanted to tell you all so you wouldn't be worried that I disappeared and also because I got two new addresses for the Christmas Card exchange- April & Keagansmom.

I was wondering if you guys could please add them and send out the email again because I don't have the battery life right now- if someone could take over and get Aprils & Keagenmom's addresses and just add it to the Word document. I'm very sorry if this is an inconvience!! Theres a chance I might lose EVERYTHING on my hard drive so I'm frantically trying to save everything.

I will miss you all!! It's going to suck not having a computer. Also- I don't have Keagansmom (sorry if I keep misspelling this) address so if someone could please forward it to me when the list is complete- ashley.lynn86@gmail.com- and I'll have Jeremiah look into my email at work so I can send out my cards.

Home with a roasty toasty fire in the fireplace, lots of SNOW on the ground, and my Christmas decorations lit up. Ahhhh..... this is almost perfect.

Ok - so I'm a freak - I LIKE snow.

YM - LOVED the pics - looked like they were having a great time out in it. DD tried to get into her car earlier to get something out of it, and couldn't even get into it! I think she spent her day on the computer IMing.

I bought first gift for DH today (love online shopping...) got a great deal on the Sirius Radio site on a radio. Geez - Christmas shopping, Christmas decorations and snow... does it get any better?

Everybody in our midwest neck of the woods BE CAREFUL out there, and check in when you can!

Great news everyone... guess what I found??



MY CAMERA!! Yay! It was in the car, just as I thought. It somehow got wedged under the passenger seat in such a way that you couldn't see or feel it. Thank goodness it was in the case so it didn't get damaged! I tried to move the seat up to look under it and it got stuck and somehow dislodged the camera enough that I could feel it. I'm so happy! Of course the batteries are dead and for some reason I can't find two sets of my rechargeables - they must be in a toy somewhere. I wanted to take pictures of outside, it looks so pretty and I know the snow won't last long, it never lasts more than a couple days here.

My mom is keeping the kids again and there is no school again tomorrow. I talked to Lyzzie on the phone and she didn't know who it was! Then she just kept saying, "can I go watch tv now?" Typical.

Ashley, we are going to miss you!! I hope your laptop gets fixed up as good as new.

When is everyone planning to send out their Christmas cards? I will probably send mine next week after I pick up my Xmas pictures, if all goes as planned. Even though most of you have seen the pictures already! Donna, did you ever get the email?

Linda, I can't believe Kenny was ok with losing his blankie! Emma throws a fit if I even make her leave hers in the car, but strangely enough she is ok with leaving it at home altogether. She just has to "put it to bed" first. She has one almost just like it at my mom's house and doesn't care which one she has. She still talks about the sunglasses she lost a few months ago, I'd hate to think what would happen if she lost Hanky Blankie!

pozey, I also thought (like Linda did) that you were going to post a recent picture. But it's neat to see how your kids look like you did as a kid!

DznyFan, you sound like you are nice & cozy. I like the snow too, I just like it much better from the comfort of my warm living room in my comfy jammies and thick socks than I like driving in it.

What WDW attraction do you miss that isn't there anymore?

I miss the Lion King show that used to be in Fantasyland, I think where Philharmagic is now. Does anyone remember this? I think it was called Legend of the Lion King or something. It started with the opening song from the movie with all the animals bowing down (which always makes me cry) and then told a short version of the movie with puppets and movie clips, a lot like the Little Mermaid show at MGM. It was a really good show. I also miss the skyride from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland. And the Timekeeper. I only saw it twice, but I thought it was really neat.

Oh, and I miss Mission to Mars. They really should get rid of the Stitch ride and do Mission to Mars v2.0. I miss If You Had Wings. I miss Horizons at Epcot. I do NOT miss Captain EO, but I do miss the other 3D show they had before it, was it called Magic Journeys? I miss the original Enchanted Tiki Room - somebody please shoot Iago!! I miss the Main Street Penny Arcade. I miss the World of Motion. I miss the Communicores, they were incredibly cool.

I could go on & on.

The Dr. warned me that sometimes even if it works, there will be muscle spasms caused by using the muscles that used to hurt too much to use, but that's not what it feels like to me. Of course this weather is not helping any!

Yeah, Kenny had that blankie all the time. He would drag it around like Linus It was so cute. I searched that mall for an hour looking for it. I just told him.. hey, you lost it and that is all there is to it. Some other little boy must need it. He was just fine. I dreaded bedtime though... but thank goodness.... it was no problem at all... here are a few pix. I couldn't resist... I love looking at his baby book

Linda, Kenny has always been a cutie pie! Lyzzie was always so pretty, but Emma... oh man that kid was weird looking for a while. She has really grown into her cuteness and now I think she is just adorable, but she was not an attractive baby at ALL. It sounds horrible for me to say that doesn't it? I was just looking at pictures the other day from 2 years ago, and I had been thinking that maybe I just was remembering wrong because I had a hard time bonding with her, and because she's so much cuter now, but nope. She was one odd duck. I don't think I have any pictures on this computer of her when she was very young, I'll have to look around.

awww. I'm giggling but I shouldn't be. I'm sure it made it harder w/the circumstances. I do agree. I don't think all babies are cute. I use to absolutely love all kids so much. Now since Kenny has been born it seems like it's changed. I focus more on him. I use to buy like crazy for a lot of kids for the holidays etc. but not anymore. Emma is adorable. she looks like a total sweetheart. Izzy mean!!! she comes up w/the cutest things

Hi, girls and guy!!

I just got caught up on all the posts from today. The main topic of conversation being this nasty weather. Hasn't hit us yet, but I'm sure it will make it here in the next few hours. We were supposed to go to a Cub scout Pack Meeting at 6:30pm, but didn't. I didn't think it would be too smart to drive in and have the ice storm hit. Just wasn't worth it.

Linda:: Ahhh, such cute pics of Kenny. His looks haven't changed much, just his size. He's still got those georgeous dark eyes!!!

Hi honey, I'm home.



So, get this one-------I called work about, oh, say 12:30 this afternoon to kind of get a feel of what was going on. I was told that my book has not changed a bit---still full and intact. "Okay, I'll see them in a little bit", I said. I left my house at 1pm and got there at 2pm----it usually takes me between 25-30 min. to get to work. I walked in and looked at the computer-------and just laughed------------I had two-----count with me now people----ONE........AND..............TWO-----people on my books for an eyebrow wax. The first was at 3:00 and the other at 8:40 tonight. So, I called my last one to see if she could come in early. She is a senior in high school and I talked to her mom (who is also a client) and she was taking a nap. Nice. They will try to make it in by 4:30. I watched as the ice got worse and worse. I twiddled my thumbs. I secretly danced like this in my head. I avoided my "boss girl" because she kept saying "I need my legs waxed...... I'd love a facial"----I wanted to say "wouldn't we all??" or worse. take this as you will. I then found out that we were going to close at 6pm, according to the owner. Good call. I ran into him and he said he is letting people leave whenever they are ready. But, I still had to wait for my little high schooler. I got out of there about 4:45 to find my dad outside scraping my car. aaawwwww. He was on his way home and stopped in to make sure my car started and I could get into it because of the ice. I'm wondering, however, if this was a conspiracy between he and my mom to get me to follow him home to their house because it is closer. But, because they live off of back roads and I live off of major interstates, I opted to go to my house. The first highway wasn't bad at all, but the second was just nasty. I have to be back at 7am tomorrow, but we'll see. So, all in all, I probably spent more in gas money than I made today.


I need to make a few phone calls right now, but will be back in a bit.


I think it was Yolanda/Keagansmom-------weren't you the one who said Mater is one of your favorite characters?? Here's a pic I took at MGM at the parade. We happened to stumble upon it and I was about five people deep but just held my camera above my head and started snapping-----turned out pretty good. I had to get this for my nephew.
