July 4 ….Quiet?

We broke one of our cardinal rules of never going to Epcot on a Saturday night. We figured July 5th....with no added fireworks would be less crowds than the nights before. With no locals or festivals going on it was pretty deserted. We've tried to go on on a Saturday during F&W and it was insane. Saturday night, while hot, was very low crowds with manageable wait times.

I think everyone was at Disney Springs. It was packed.

We were there this week also, wait times seemed very light. On July 3 we were at MK and I was worried about being able to see the fireworks, but we walked up around 20 minutes before the show and there was plenty of space in the hub surprisingly. Even after it started there was room around me. July 4 at Epcot didn't seem particularly light. But we were at MK again on July 5 and it was extremely light. Mine Train was like 20 minutes, Tiana was 5 minutes/walk on. Tron was around 35 minutes. There were several rides that had 0 minute listed wait time (Small World, etc) which is not something that I see all that often.

I just checked wait times at MK and Space Mountain is 55 min, Tron is 75, People Mover is 10, PhilharMagic is 15. This looks like a typical summer day at MK to me. Small World and Mermaid are both at 30, which is higher than expected. They "should" be under 20 minutes at this time.

Soarin' is at 20. Remy & Frozen 55-60. Guardians at 85. Star Tours at 5 as expected. Rise 40, TSM 55, Tower 35, Railway 55.
Looks like the typical summer crowds are back at least for today. OP doesn't have to "worry" anymore!

We just got back--June 21-28, and it was pretty busy… I did come back home with a cold, could have done without that…
Practically the same dates I did. I was hoping after the quiet Juneteenth chatter it would be a quiet week but it felt like an averagely busy day pretty much the whole time. Not crazy but definitely not quiet. AP blackouts are definitely the key!

Also came back with a head cold. Ugg!

I agree, I came home last night and that was probably the heaviest crowd day I saw. American Adventure was obviously hopping. But waits were kinda high at times, I think Remy being down most of the morning didn’t help much.

Aren’t APs not blocked out any more starting today?

AP that were blocked out, are no longer blocked.

Y'all quit talking about how empty it was. Shush.

But in seriousness, sort of felt like a normal 7/4 time period to me, if not a touch lighter. It's never as bustling a holiday or time of year around property as the Internet suggests and as many have noted summer has been trending that way for awhile now. In my humble opinion.
