I know that Kim and Robin, have had a meet. ..and Robin and Ann...had a meet, and I think Susan has met Robin too just this last trip...and Colleen and family had a meet with both Ann and Susan....

Oh and I talked to Colleen on the phone for a few minutes in December when she was meeting wtih Ann and Susan.

Hey everyone!! Good news-no fever at all today !! DS even wanted to eat and those of you with bottomless pits (aka boys) in the family know that's a definate sign of recovery!! I'm so glad and I know that I will sleep good tonight. Thanks so much for all of the p&pd (see I'm learning the TKer way of abbreviations). From my family to all of you !!

So guess what all of this means!?! Yep, you guys are just stuck with me, I'm just going to keep hanging around since ya'll are so dang nice!!

I've heard something about a cruise...I probably couldn't make it since we are going on one in November. It will be our 1st Disney cruise, so maybe it will be so great that DH will not be able to wait and we can join you guys for our 2nd cruise (like that would ever really happen!).

Out of curiosity, how many of you guys have actually met? I hope you don't mind me asking ?'s, but I'm hoping to catch up on some stuff here without reading through 1700+pages!!

Happy happy happy hump day to you!! It's Wed which makes tomorrow Thursday 2/2 and that is (drumroll please) ......The Survivor season premier !! Yes, I love survivor and can't wait, I think that it's going to be great this time.

PD34(It's the TKer way to abreviate)-Let me welcome you as a fellow newbie TKer. Trust me, if I can't kill it, it ain't dyin'!! Welcome aboard and hope you hang around a while. You'll find this gang to be very friendly and warm.

DalPal-I'm glad you caught me up with all of that, now I'll have to take notes to keep it straight!!

Cal-We are going to be WDW the week after our cruise, so we'll be there from 11/26-12/2. We planned the cruise for Thanksgiving (11/22-11/26), which is also my birthday and the parks after since it is suppose to be a little less crowded at that time of year. It's also value season and the beginning of the holiday season, so we'll get to attend MVMCP and see all of the decorations and the Osbourne lights. Have I talked you into going yet?

Had a great time with DH at WDW. We had two wonderful romantic dinners, where after one he got down on one knee and asked me to be with him forever!! I'll post some pics later.

I'm a big reality tv junkie.. I'm also watching American Idol and Bachelor when it comes on..

Oh and tonight is LOST!!! Love that show too even tho it's not a reality

As for Disney.. We were planning to go either the first or second week of Nov.. depending on the F&W festival.. we want to catch it before it ends... but I also would like to see the Christmas decor and Osbourne lights.. so we'll see..

Yes DS is quickly getting back to normal. He's such a "boy"-while blowing his nose this morning he came running to me, tissue in hand and says "Hey mom look," well of course I looked and he says with a big grin "oh I thought it was something good, but it'snot" Yep telling bad jokes is a sign of recovery.

tinknutt, the weather is great up here in the Great White North, not very white for which I'm extremely grateful

A little mom story.

On Monday Alex (my son for the newbies) was working at his paramedic placement and was called to a tractor trailer rollover on the highway. The driver ended up not being really badly injured but was trapped inside for an hour or more. So........ the next day there was a picture in the paper of the accident scene. I showed it to my husband and said see the picture of your son.

Basically it's a picture of all the backsides of emergency personnel in all their gear. To anyone else but a mother they are probably unrecognizable but of course I picked my own son out immediately. Rick's looking at it and there's no way you can know which guy is him. Did he tell you which one he is? Nope he hadn't even seen the picture yet.

I said no I'm a mother, I can certainly recognize my own child Fathers
