A little mom story.

On Monday Alex (my son for the newbies) was working at his paramedic placement and was called to a tractor trailer rollover on the highway. The driver ended up not being really badly injured but was trapped inside for an hour or more. So........ the next day there was a picture in the paper of the accident scene. I showed it to my husband and said see the picture of your son.

Basically it's a picture of all the backsides of emergency personnel in all their gear. To anyone else but a mother they are probably unrecognizable but of course I picked my own son out immediately. Rick's looking at it and there's no way you can know which guy is him. Did he tell you which one he is? Nope he hadn't even seen the picture yet.

I said no I'm a mother, I can certainly recognize my own child Fathers

You see a backside enough ...after a while you just dont forget it...

Welcome newbies and LURKERS alike....and yes we are VERY addicting..you just get sucked in no matter what...you can't help it - it's like WDW before you leave you are already planning your next trip.....

TN - sounds like a very romantic trip you and hubby had - oooh I do love smooches with my DH as well - and with regards to me giving away 10 DGK's yeah thanks for adding salt to the wound as if my foot wasn't sore enough from all the chomping I did on it....BTW K-Swiss sneaker tastes pretty good with some salsa......

Plans for the bet are kinda on hold until we get to settlement on our RE-FI what a freakin' (sorry for my potty mouth) nightmare this has turned out to be - DH & I have been going thru this since Oct....and our settlement date is now Friday - Good thing - if it falls thru again - I am done with this - it has been one thing or another - AARRRGGGG I despise the underwriters we have been dealing with - we have been giving them everything and they keep wanting more - I think the list was down to DNA samples and proof that I gave birth to my children......done venting

As far as places for the "bet" trip - DH said he really wants to go visit Mickey - just he & I for a couple of days - I was looking into something a bit local like Kent Island, VA or even Emerald Isle, NC or is it SC......we shall see - I keep getting great DING's from SW to go from BWI to MCO so it is not completely out of the question

I love the shirt design - I wish I knew if we could commit to the cruise - it just kills me -
