We are sharing your weather...although the rain has stopped here.....
Its nice isnt it!

I am on hunters watch today.....My DB and DS are up in the woods hunting deer...
I have an FRS here in case there is a problem BUT I all I can hear on the thing is a couple of other guys ...and if they keep it up Ill be willing to bet my house that they will be skunked today....They are talking so much, Im sure every deer on the mountian knows they are there! Maybe they will drive the deer over to my DB and DS...better yet ....maybe they will drive them over to another mountian and the poor deer will live to see another day

My dog Pepper seems to be doing better...(maybe it was just a cold)...he still wont eat his food (we have been giving him his dog bones for meals)...but it IS new ...I think Ill go back to the cheaper stuff...at least he was eating that befor he started acting sick ...I really wish dogs could talk...It would make life alot easier

Its always hard getting kids back on routine after they have been off it for awhile....but they bounce back fast enough... ...
and just think about the peace and quiet you will have today!

Well it's time to get the kids off to school... They are kind of grumpy tho, that week of Thanksgiving off threw their schedule off... Hopefully they'll be back on track by tomorrow tho... I'm pretty sure by the time they come home today they will be wore out..

I did get a lot of reading in today! I'm loving my new book. It's so good.

And then it started raining.. and hasnt stopped It's really raining hard .. I was thinking maybe I'd put out some Christmas decorations in the yard but maybe tomorrow if it doesnt rain.

It was actually a gorgeous day here. The temperature was around 60 or so. The sun was shining but it was very windy.

I spent a bunch of time trying to clean up the garage a bit. I hoping to fit a car in there again but I think I might be fighting a losing battle

I worked. Bad news.....the new girl left a voice mail over the weekend that she accepted a position elsewhere. I was so ! I understand - but it still was a bummer. I don't think they'll look for someone until after the new year. After I got done being I had a busy, productive day. I figure the worst thing that's happening is I'm doing 2 jobs I love instead of one.

I spent a good portion of the evening getting the checkbook straight and now I'm going to wrap a few presents. Hope ya'll have a good night and we'll chat later!

BTW, I dreamed that tinknutt, she who has no name and myself not only went to Disney, but had an "unlimited access" pass. How cool is that? We got to go in the kitchens and sample the goodies, walk under the tunnels....there was nothing off limits. We sure did have fun!

Now I dreamed about the tag fairy and got my tags - what do you think the odds are of THIS dream coming true?

Speaking of dreams coming true.....I got my reservation thingy from Disney Cruise! Guess who's happy?

Cally!...Could you please tell me, what the heck is that egg about in your posts...Ive seen a couple others on the other threads too??

YOU got YOUR confirmation?......I didnt get one yet....Could it be because I booked online?......Ill give it a couple more days and then I think Ill call....I have the one I printed on my PC, but Id like to get one with there letterhead on it....Just for my own piece of mind....

We have very warm weather this morning.....60s....no rain YET....but VERY windy...from the south(that is NOT the norm)...We do have rain in the forcast ...about an inch they say...We will see ...

I think Im going Christmas shopping today...everyone should be back to work/school so it shouldnt be crowded...

Oh...I have an interesting story.....
I have been making wreaths for $10 each for this seasonal stand....
well I was suppose to have four wreaths done and two center pieces by last Sat.....ON last FRI...My DGF calls me and tells me she just left the stand and that they are going to close THAT day...not to reopen ....I had NO call from the owner telling me this....I had the wreaths all done and ready to deliver them on Sat.
Soooo.....I call him up and ask....WHATS UP?...Ive been working my poor little fingers off to make my deadline for him and he plans on closing and doesnt tell me? ...I have to tell you I was STEAMED!....
He says yes indeed he was planning on closing that day..and said " he would pay me for my supplies!(how big of him ) ...that really set me off. ..I asked him if all my time and effert isnt worth anything??? Sooo after some excuses and alot of stammering he agreed to buy the 4 wreaths I made, from me.for the agreed price.....and pay for my suppies....Well when I got there I let him just pay me for the wreaths and told him I still had alot of supplies left so he didnt have to pay me for the supplies. I wanted to be fair...even though he would have left me high and dry ..(I would have showed up with everything on Sat....to find it all closed and with no recourse to do anything )...At least I can feel like the bigger person..... ....BUT boy it still makes me mad just thinking about it ....I guess alls well that ends well...I made $30...not the $70-$100..I was thinking I would make...but now I dont have to worry about having the time to make more for him
Well thats my story(and Im sticking to it )....My big thanksgiving weekend excitment
