Well my crew just left.....It sure gets quiet around here when everyone is gone.....

Big day today with the DGGs...we all sat and watched "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye....
It has gotten to be a tradition...Its really weird hearing them quote the movie as we watch it...with Pans QT being only 14...and the others even younger...I guess that movie will alway be timeless....Hey I can remember when as a kid I thought of it as the movie with the two old guys we watched every Christmas....and I look at them now and realize they were probably younger when they made that movie ...then I am right now or at least near the same age ...all I can say is I have found out that age is relative!

and with that brilliant observation, Im going to go relax and enjoy my peace and quiet...

Ohhhh so Penny Lane is from the Beatles.. I get it

Every Christmas hubby and I watch Christmas Vacation.. We both love the movie and have been watching since we were kids ... It really is strange about the age thing... cuz when I use to watch it back when I was younger I would relate more to the kids... but now that I'm older and I watch it I relate more to the parents and the adults in the movie..

It looks like everyone has been busy posting - it took me a while to read...but I got through it. Now I'm out of time to post! I've got to scoot to work, but I wanted to wish everyone Happy Day!

Thanksgiving was yummy (thanks again Tinknutt!). I've been busy but having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday was DH's birthday. He's SOOOooo cute!

Cally, glad you're back. Uraken - this thread will never go away. Robin & Kim, I'm with you - NO shopping the day after thanksgiving. I'd much rather do without! TW - cute puppy! I love little dogs! DalPal - let us know how it goes with your dog.

Well it's time to get the kids off to school... They are kind of grumpy tho, that week of Thanksgiving off threw their schedule off... Hopefully they'll be back on track by tomorrow tho... I'm pretty sure by the time they come home today they will be wore out..
