that's why I usually go first thing in the morning before everybody else is up and about :teeth:
That would not have been a good idea THIS morning! :earseek: Beginning anywhere from midnight til 5 or 6 am, stores were opening, and literally HUMAN stampedes at a WalMart, I saw on the news.:sad2:

How sad isn't it?

So far I have never come across any material thing that was so important to me that I had to stand in line to wait for a store to open and stampede and trample over people to get it. I hope that I never do :sad2:

If it were to feed myself or my family and I had no other choice then maybe but just to shop for Christmas gifts, I think not. :guilty:

I'll pay a couple bucks more, if I have to. My time is worth at least that. ;)

Maybe when I buy the Christmas tree :Pinkbounc
Real or artificial? :confused3 Because just yesterday my parents were boasting about getting a real tree this year, and today my Dad said probably not. I guess they heard something today about our dry spring/summer, and that the real trees will be drying out/dying faster than before. :guilty: Just an fyi.

Not sure that will matter either, if they've been sitting on the tree lot all the time. :guilty: If you KNOW they bring in fresher cut trees regularly, than I suppose that would make a difference.

True... I guess that wont make much difference... Gosh I'm hoping the tree will at least last til Roger gets back.. :guilty:

As of today he said he should be back on the 22nd..but I can never count on anything they say... It's always changing.. last week it was the 24th.. :scared:

Hey TKers!

John's swimming pool company sells real trees at Christmastime...he'll be bringing me home a live one :)

Decent day at the store today, work again tomorrow (had to stop by and say hi) then I'm off on sunday :cloud9: First day in like two weeks :faint:

~colleen~

The 24th? I'd be :scared: too! The 22nd is a little better, and has some leeway, but still, as you say, you never know. :confused3 :guilty:

I'm sure that even if the tree was brown and dead and Charlie Brown-like ;) , Roger will be soooooo happy to see it, IN PERSON, no matter what!!! :goodvibes As well as seeing you 3!!! :grouphug: :goodvibes

 Colleen! Take a rest girl, you deserve it! Last thing you want around the holidays is to get sick.
