Mackenzie is in good company, Happy belated to her! My oldest nephew is 18 today, my youngest was 17 two days ago and my Mom's bday is Tuesday.

FYI! This was the week they aired the WWTBAM that they didnt want me on. I watched every episode. I KNEW all but one of the questions! The people who were on (who btw I dont remember any of them from the audition I was at ...did MISERABLE.... ) I am MORE convinced then ever it is FIXED!!!!

The question I didnt know was....On Magnum PI, The millionare whose house that Magnum lived at was a

3 Weeks from today I will be finishing up packing

I really need my therapy~

We leave late afternoon on saturday and arrive at MCO from Philly around 7pm. I booked a car thru Alamo, so we'll go over and grab that and go right to the resort. Rose and two of her sisters and her niece should already be there. Rose's one sister lives in FL and is visiting for a couple days. Her other sister and niece are in from Utah for the whole week. My crew will just be DH, DS and me. DD is staying home to watch the puppies (she went to California-this is her trade off) and my MIL is coming up from SC to stay with Britt while we are away.

This is where we are staying...it's called Summer Bay

We are doing a light week. I am getting the 7 day passes to universal (only $85 pp.) Disneywise we'll do one day at Epcot (thursday) and one at Magic Kingdom (friday.) Our MK day includes the KTTK tour That's it. We'll probably only use two or three days for Universal. The ticket pays for itself once you use the second day. We won't try to do any park openings and if we decide to hang at the resort and do nothing, we can do that too.


Not having to work is weird.

I haven't spent this much time at home in 20years...I like it and I don't. The freedom to sleep, shop, clean, go wander and take pictures and stuff is nice. It's the fact that all my friends are working and everybody who is at home has a little kid to tend to so company is scarce~

I am glad I have all of you. I am glad to have adults, other than family, to talk to any given day. You guys keep me sane The trips to Disney are my Paid for Therapy, you guys are my bonus counceiling group made possible by Disney~ seriously.

that's my story and I'm sticking to it...

I've also decided to do a photographic trip report of this adventure but will revert back to the original way of posting the story picture by picture. No more slideshows...it's too impersonal.

DU thanks for sending up the snow. We had a couple of squalls today. I got to catch a snowflake on my tongue for the first time for this season. ( I get pleasure out of the little things in life!) Have fun at the party tomorrow. Give Macenzie a hug for us!

Callie you can come up north and make snowmen with us this winter. The boys would love it!

I don't do flu shots either. Roger does.. it's mandatory for him. Yesterday he got a Flu shot, Anthrax, and Typhoid.

wow....pretty quiet here for almost 12 hours....where did all the TKer's go???? Shopping? Macy's is having a great sale today...can't go though...need to clean house & other domestic duties...my SIL decided she would rather not host TG so asks me last night if i will......but I can't make a traditional turkey dinner because that is what my other SIL is doing next sat for her DD's 14th BD....

Angel in the Postal Service


This is one of the kindest things I've ever experienced. I have no way to know who sent it, but there is a kind soul working in the dead letter office of the US postal service.

Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words: Dear God, Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick. I hope you will play with her. She likes to play with balls and to swim. I am send ing a picture of her so when you see her you will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelo pe because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed, "To Meredith" in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, "When a Pet Dies." Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,


Abbey arrived safely in heaven.
Having the picture was a big help. I recognized Abbey right away. Abbey isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in
your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to keep your picture in, so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.

Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you write it and sending it to me. What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I am wherever there is love.
