Good morning.

Right now the sun is shining and the weather network says it is 59 degrees.

It also says that high this afternoon is supposed to be 57 :confused3

Also says we are expecting a trace of snow overnight.

I best enjoy today and do some outside things that need to be done.

Have a good day TKERS

My interview's been pushed to 4pm...

my interviewer's kid might have strep, she's taking him to the doctor~

I've been finishing up the paperwork from my sister's show...she got the program she wanted for free so it was worthy~

at 3am :scratchin I was sleepin too...Penny actually let me sleep thru the night for once~the warmth never showed up today...too cloudy for it to heat up I think.

Good luck with the interview. It was warmer here this morning than it is this afternoon. It was sunny this morning, but got cloudy and gloomy this afternoon.

It kind of went from sunny to cloudy to sunny to back to cloudy here today.

I got outside during the second sunny time and actually got a lot accomplished.

I'm quite pleased with myself for actually getting out there and doing something for a change:lmao:

Hiya Threadkillers!

Good luck with your interview TW! Sounds like everyone is doing well, hale and hearty although we have a few people who had their sleep disturbed at 3am. I was NOT one of them. DH and I had a FAB dinner with our friend from Italy last night - we closed the restaurant! After they closed, the owners sat and had some wine with us...fun, fun, fun!

I completed all my Christmas shopping for the kids & grandkids and will ship it out tomorrow. The Hanukkah presents are already on their way. I only have a few things left to buy for the family that lives locally and DH...but I know what I'm going to get him!

Ya'll take care and have a GREAT day!

He mentioned - a long time ago then promptly forgot - that he wants a sliding glass window for his truck. I know, it doesn't deliver a knock out punch, but it IS something he wants.

Tom and I set a low limit for our Christmas presents and then give each other things you CAN'T buy....like extra hugs, making the bed when you least expect it, breakfast - that sort of stuff. T

he first year we did that (and we were broke enough that we needed to) it was our BEST Christmas ever - so we, for the most part, continued the tradition.

It actually got up to 80 today. It was pretty warm! It's cooled down to 64 although it still feels pretty warm. We're expecting rain tonight! :umbrella:

Colleen, I hope your interview went really good. :wizard:

we are having the same weather Cally...it was even 73 on the coast when i left my office today...:woohoo: has been like that all week....but sadly will be cooler tomorrow - 10 deg or so.... & is already getting cooler outside :sad1: oh well - almost sweater time...

well guess i'm cooking tonite so better get it started so will be ready when DS gets home from basketball....

I think it went well, thank you!

Training starts in January...it helps that these people already know me from being the staff coordinator at the Magicmeet. They KNOW I am organized and know Disney. It's gonna take three months for me to get certified and then I would earn 10 to 16% of whatever trips I book depending on where they want to go and how. Cruises apparently pay more.

VERY COOL!!!!!

VERY COOL!!!!!

I'm happy~for now~

The timing will be good for training cause I'll be in school still. I should finish my travel agent training by Mar/April and can book people any time during training. I have my creative memories website (scrapbook supplies) to supplement what I don't get from unemployment. It's nice to actually use an insurance I've bought and paid for. (Unemployment Insurance)

by the time I finish my degree I will have a better idea of what to do with my future. My dream job would be an imagineer. My second dream job is photographer. My ideal job could be done from home.

My list of classes includes study into video production for the media (think commercials) and how to Manage the Media. The combination of these could enable me to be anything from a wedding planner to a talent agent to a video producer. All of which could be done from home~

3 More weeks and I'll be back in Disney!!!

I've been searching car rental prices...Rose booked a rediculously small car and we really should have our own anyway. I've still got to buy our park passes too. The Uni passes I can print from here and the Disney passes can be picked up at will call. The keys to the kingdom tour, the most important one, is all booked and ready to go.

OMG! I've only got three more weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning:surfweb:

Never rained lastnight :umbrella: but it's pretty cloudy out this morning and kind of windy. Still warm as well at 64. The tv just said Macon got an inch of rain. I wonder if it DID rain.

Colleen, almost that time :yay: :hyper:

I did get a small chance to look at hawaii a little on the PC....WOW its an expensive vaca:scared1: ....I DID find a couple of all inclusive deals that were'nt to bad....But Id kind of like to see more then one island.... :confused3not that I know which ones Im interested in...:confused3 Oh well its wont be for 2 years IF we go, so I have time to research..
Has any of you gone to hawaii???...Is there any Island that you would suggest?....Any place you stayed that you think was a good deal???.
Im thinking maybe the kona coast on the big island, and maybe Maui...But I just dont know .....I DO know I want to stay away from cities, and very populated places..No touristy things...Just a quiet slice of good snorkling beach, maybe some horseback riding, hiking,...that kind of thing...Im not much of a nightlife person...unless its sitting on the beach, watching the moonrise...:goodvibes ...with a glass of wine, or fruity rummy drink....
