Good Morning all you TKers,
I think its morning ????....Thats what my clock says ,but its sooo dark & rainny out that Im not sure!......We have a weather advisery today for high winds and rain ALLLLLLLL day. YUK!.....

Maybe Ill keep the horses in today.....but if I do Ill have to clean stalls around them and thats alot harder....there really good about it though....you just have to push them this way and that to get around them....they just keep eatting there hay and pivot....and if Im lucky they make a donation right into my shovel

Well I have to tell you guys .......Im going through BP story withdrawl....Maybe he will come back with lots of ideas for new storys..... Lets hope.....I really miss those silly storys......how much of a kid am I

Up late again last night.....I must be getting old ....I just cant do that anymore....11pm is late for me!

Well I guess I cant put it off any longer..... I have to go feed the horses, I have a feeling getting to the barn is going to be like "Finding Nemo"...."Keep on swimming ...swimming swimming....Keep on swimming....BUMP!...AHHHHH finally the barn!!

Cruisin - your cruise is SO close! I'm so excited for you - jealous, too - but happy!

Well, I woke up in a mood this morning. I'm feeling very snippy and poor Tom, good sport that he is, is being such a sweetie pie. I'll tell you how weird I'm feeling today.........I made b'fast! I love to cook and LOVE to bake (although I don't do much of either with a restricted diet) but I HATE to make breakfast. When we have it at home.......Tom makes it. I only make it when I'm in the mood. Well, today I'm in A MOOD! It doesn't happen often, but we agreed to spend our day separated!

The good news is today is payday! After I get the check book all done, I'm off to the grocery store.....which I LOVE to do. That usually puts me in a good mood, so we'll see.

Kim, you're a lot like my sister's....they like to shop, shop, shop! Especially for clothes. Me, I'll take it or leave it, I like to grocery shop!

However, on sister's weekend, we shop til we drop! I enjoy it, but I usually bring a good book with me and guard their purchases for an hour or two. That way we both have fun.

They LOVE to try on clothes.....not my thing. So when I'm with them, I let them pick out ONE outfit for me to try on. They usually pick something very hip & modern (they giggle when I say modern in reference to clothes)....since I usually dress like a nun! Ahh...just thinking of the sister's lightens my mood!

Well, I've got to get the bills paid, go to the post office, pick up the mutt and then go grocery shopping! So I better scoot. I've gotta post my exercise, too!

Ann, I love to shop for anything BUT clothes. Hate fitting rooms, hate the on/off, on/off, hate those mirrors, and tight space. I actually HAD to buy new dress pants yesterday. All I did was find the same brand I had, went a size down, and bought them. Waited til I got home to try them on. Done!

And Ann, I'm in a MOOD myself today. Here's to a better day ahead.

When it comes to buy clothes, I'm the SAME way! I usually buy my stuff at wal-mart now, since I'm still losing weight - no sense in spending $$$$. I used to only wear Liz or better....not any more. Once I got into the retirement scene - I love just plain ol' jean shorts & tees! If I work retail, that's where I'll probably go.....

I can't see buying an entire business wardrobe to work in an office again! All the other clothes hang on me and the purpose of working is part time only and for spending $$$. I don't want to spend it all on clothes! Besides, I'm not interested in joining the rat race again, if I can get away with it!

Despite such a gloomy beginning the sun is now shining brightly here. I am at work and the sun shines right in the window on me!!!! I have to pull down the blind sometimes because it is so bright. It probably is still pretty chilly out though. I am leaving in a few minutes so I will find out.

Ann, you didn't look like a nun when I saw you....... you looked very nice.

I absolutely HATE grocery shopping and I go just as little as I can get away with. Usually I go when we are out of cat food because you can tell the kids to go away but the cats will not listen

I really have to be in the right mood to try on clothes. Sometimes I am but most of the time I am not. I am like you Kim. I hate the on and off of it. Nothing ever looks good on me, yada, yada, yada........

Hi everyone! Had a GREAT time at the super Wal-Mart! I just love grocery shopping! I'm sleepy, tho, so I'm ready for a nap! Still in a bit of a mood, but no longer a MOOD!

Did you buy something good at the Super Wal-Mart.

I like to go there when I am in the US to have a look around. We just got a new Wal-Mart here but not really like a super Wal-Mart. There is food but not a big grocery store like yours has.

You guys have different stuff than we have. Different candy, food, etc. Nice to look at and see the differences.

Hello everyone.... I'm more in a "bored mood" ... I've hung the christmas lights, cleaned the house, did the laundry, cleaned out the desk, what else is there to do???

We need groceries too but I hate grocery shopping as well. I'll leave that for DH.

I bought ALL kinds of stuff at Wal-Mart! The majority of my grocery shopping, plus a lighted outdoor christmas tree. I also bought two presents for some orphans our church supports.

PrincessaC - you can come over and clean my house and I'll do the grocery shopping!

Actually, DH did a LOT of picking up and all the laundry, so I can't complain.....I'll tell you - he's a keeper!

I am very rarely bored. I always find something to do.

I hauled down the Christmas decoration/tree boxes from the high shelf in the garage.

It has been a few years since we have put up the big tree. I am still a little unsure about it. I have a feeling that I will have one kitty sitting right in the middle of the tree She is such a little devil. But she is also such a sweetheart too

Now all I have to do is haul all of that stuff downstairs to the basement so I can put up the tree. I thought I would do it downstairs this year because there is too much furniture upstairs and I spend most of my time down here anyways.


I went looking for a new desk for myself at work today. I couldn't make up my mind which one to get. Right now I am using one of those old metal "teacher" desks, you know the kind I mean. This one is sooooo old it has a pop up shelf for a typewriter hidden behind a door It was definitely not designed for the computer age and it is horribly cold in the winter time.

I'm usually playing my Sims game on the pc but since DH has been doing some upgrading to the pc it hasn't been working. He replaced our ME w/ XP. Everything is working good except for the game. Oh well.

Right now I'm watching Oprah. I'm crying my eyes out. It's so sad. She had a segment about a show on HBO called Last Letters Home. It's about troops that have died in Iraq and family reading the last letters they sent home. It's really sad and now I'm scared. DH recently told me instead of being gone for 3 months he'll be gone for 6 months!!! He leaves in January and will be back in June. He'll miss my birthday (again) but thank goodness he'll be here for the kids b-day. He missed both of their birthdays last year.
