I'm not sure. I had laid out blankets and pillows for them to watch tv.
When I looked around they were sleeping and it looked so cute I had to take a picture.

It's actually been cool here but then gots warm and back and forth. I like cool weather. Likely moving to Austin where's it's even warmer.

It's chilly here too. The heat has been set at 73º for a while now. Just enough to keep the nip out of the air.

They're predicting low 70s for a couple of days, but that doesn't happen 'til around 4 or 5:00.

Sometimes just turning the oven on for dinner will keep the house (or at least the kitchen) warm.

I went shopping at the dollar store today . The store is closing and there is a 50% off sale. That is kind of fun to shop at. Most everything was 50 cents (did you know there is no cents symbol key on these keyboards!!!)

I bought lots of stuff, especially lots of glow sticks. My daughter like to have them on the cruise ship. She hands them out to her new friends when they are hanging around at night or at one of the teen dances.

If she doesn't use them on the ship, then next year in May when we have our street party, we can give them to the kids to have while we are doing our fire works display. That way we know where all of the kids are

73 degrees (how did you do that degree thingey, Kim). Wow my family would love to live at your house

I try to keep it down to 69 most of the time if I can, although when it gets really cold out we start to inch it up a little bit by bit.

In our house turning the oven on really heats it up quickly in the kitchen and living room. That is why we don't use the oven much in the summer.

No, it still stalls for brief periods of time each night when I'm on. It just did it before I came posting here. The Disney Dream PC is ALL here now though. I thought it was all here yesterday, but didn't realize there was no monitor, until it arrived at work today. I have to find some time to get it all set up for DD, but I'd like to get a kid's computer desk first, and I need to figure out how to get her online via my modem. That way, I'll have a back-up 'puter, should the need ever arise.

Morning everyone.

This morning I am meeting a fellow Canadian DISer from a city 1 hour from here. She posted on the CDN board to ask if anyone was going to WDW and asked someone to pick up a Christmas ornament for her new granddaughter. I was going, so I picked one up for her.

She is driving here to pick it up. I am meeting her at the edge of town at a coffee shop to deliver the goods I have never met her before, so I will have another DISer I have met to add to my list

We are having company for dinner, so I have to go to the store to pick up a few things.

Hey everyone! Wanted to say hello! I have a few pages to catch up on. Is it just me - or did the DISBoards change their look? Nice.....

Anyway, Bunco was a huge success. I usually put out a big spread, so I was busy yesterday. I did a smaller spread, but it was more challenging - being low-carb & sugar free. The funny thing was.....everyone loved the sugarfree dessert! In fact, 5 people asked for the recipe.

Anyway, I'm off to have lunch & a movie with DD. DH and I walked 3 miles today and if I don't leave NOW - I'll be late!

My meeting with Barb (barb45) went very well. I passed on the ornament and we had a nice talk about all things Disney

I sent her a link to our thread so hopefully she will stop by and check us out. She has never been on the community board before. I told her she would probably become addicted to if hung out here for too long
