No the Disboard picture thing and Image station are not the same. But you got your pictures to work so it doesn't really matter.

That is a sweet picture of Tom and Carter ::yes::

I DO like that beard ;)

Dalpal, I saw the pictures of your dogs on the other thread.

They are cute and I love their names!!!!

I posted some pictures of my cats right after your post of the dogs.

Okay - trying a few more........I'll stop soon..........I promise!

Here's one of GS Jakob. He's in California and will be a year old on 12/30.

and here's one of me & Tom. We don't often pose for pics.....this one was a few years ago. Tom has a goatee and I really like that (whaddya think Cruisin?). This was taken at a banquet we attended in Orlando.

Okay.....my fingers are crossed and I'm getting ready to click on the submit reply button.......here goes...........

I see that Jakob is a gardener all ready!!!

I think the goatee looks good too ::yes::

You don't have to stop posting pictures.......... you keep posting, we'll keep looking............. you need the practice anyways :teeth:

Ooh, thanks! Since it's only a thumbnail anyway........why not? She's a real cutie pie. We like her a lot.

GOOD GIRL!!!!! ::yes:: (Sorry BP!) :p

Betsy, thanks for the offer on Flat Stanley! I may just take you up on it. I heard today that not all the kids have someone to send to. :( I'll ask tomorrow. Thanks.

Ann, Ann, Ann, thank you, too. ;) Your Wendy's story had me LOL as well, but the NAP story was even funnier! :p Your grandkids are adorable! I could take either or both of them in a heartbeat! ::yes:: Oh yes, Holly is a cutie, too. :cutie: I like small dogs.

Robin, I'm so sorry. I was really a jabber-jaws last night, wasn't I? :o I managed to get up and be at the zoo by 11, which meant leaving about 10, and waking at 9, so I got some rest. ;)

Well, fingers and toes are crossed that Kelly & I can manage 2-1/2 days of school & work WITHOUT being sick!!! So far, so good this weekend. ::yes:: We had a real Mommy & Me day today. After we decorated the tree with the Brownies, we went off on our own for about 3 hours visiting the zoo. Then we went shopping, well besides hitting every gift shop in the zoo, we went to Hallmark, the Dollar Store, and then Kelly chose Big Lots to finish our day out. Boy, I'm beat! All that fresh air. She went right to sleep tonight, too.

So, is everybody ready for Monday? :duck:

Robin, Kelly told me to tell you, "Thanks a Billion!". She was so excited when I told her! :goodvibes :hyper:

Good Morning all you TKers,
Holly,
Your GS, Jakob is soooo cute. He looks very huggable(is that a word)...CA..Bummer it must be hard to not see him often...but it does give you an excuse to go to CA. to see them!::yes::Your DH is nice looking too!;)
Please DONT stop posting your pics.....I LOVE to look at them ...Its nice to see what you all look like and your familys too...including pets(there family too)....Ill see if I can find a pic of my DH and me to show all of you.....Its funny everyone I have seen looks pretty much like I pictured them to look.

Im still working on my new wallpaper...but Thanksgiving is getting in the way...so it may be a while.....
Im thinking of soaking my turkey in a brine befor roasting it...it seems to be the "THING" to do this year. Has anybody done it this way befor?....I still dont know if I should try it or not....Im not all that gutsy when it comes to trying new stuff....but it does sound like it would make for a moist bird....Ill let you know if I "chickened" out or not...

Cruisin'Kroezes,
Thanks...I just love Dalmatians..101 started me on them when I was a child.....It took me until I was 35 befor I was able to get Cookies N Cream......and the poor thing went for about three weeks befor she was named...I wouldnt name her until I came up with something good.....She probably had an Idenity complex...I called her so many different names as I decided.
Three years later I got Sultan....He is the "bad boy" of the family..He started out as Sargeant Pepper(my family are Beatles buffs), but after a little thought I picked Sultan Pepper, because it discribes him better...I alway have to spell it for my vet...They alway try to find him under "SALT n Pepper". He thinks of himself as more of a "Sultan" anyway! Its funny! He is my favorate...and Cookie is my DHs...Ofcourse Cookie is an "angel"and never does anything wrong..My husband points this out everytime Pepper is bad. I have always gone for the "Bad boys" anyway and I counterpoint this out to my DH everytime he points out the other.

Well better go start my day...at least the animals are all taken care of....Now I have to try and figure out all I still have to buy for our feast! Then go fight the crowd for my turkey...I need a 20 lb.er.
Im getting a fresh one.....With my luck I wont be able to find one....Then Ill have to make McNuggets for Thanksgiving.....Talk about "trying something NEW"
Have a good day everyone!:wave2:
Betsy

DalPal - It's funny, everyone pretty much looks as I expected.........except you! You're WAY too young looking to be a grandma! I expected you to have short grey hair. (you know that spiky, short, cool look that only a select few - like you - can pull off!) You & DH are so young! I know you married early, but way to go girlfriend!

Today, DH and I walked our usual 3 miles, did NOT go to b'fast, got our hair cut and we're currently showering before lunch. Then I'm headed out to get a few groceries, vacuum & wash the dog. She's a cutie-pie, but she's a stinky miss!

Chat with ya'll later!
Ann

:earseek: :earseek: , maybe that was more than we needed to know :teeth:

Betsy, you two sure are a good looking couple and so young looking too. Another man with a beard ::yes:: . I need to get mine to grow his back again!!

Thanks for the picture!!

Oh My! The boards will be down this weekend, huh? I'm gonna go through Threadkillers withdrawal! Hopefully, they'll keep our thread...........if not.........we're gonna have to start a new one!

Robin...........the shower was separately! He was showering while I was chatting with you! You kook! Yep, looks like Rick is going to need a beard! Any luck talking him into one? Winter is on it's way!

Well, I've got dinner in the crock-pot and I'm ready to head out to the grocery store. The dog is clean & fresh now. Then I have to vacuum..........which I dread.

Not because I hate vacuuming, it's because I went bowling yesterday with DH (I bowled a 163, 140, 121 - not bad). I usually bowl with the sisters. We have all kinds of soda/fries/beer bets on certain frames.

Anyway.....this always happens.......whenever I go bowling, my tooshie hurts the next day. Now, I'm pretty good shape with all the walking/exercise I do. You'd think this wouldn't bother me. Well, my tooshie hurts and I don't wanna vacuum. However, the rugs REALLY need it!

I guess bowling is the ultimate tooshie exercise! I'm just waiting for another zinger & pinch from DH!

:wave2: Happy Monday TKers!:wave2:

I'm baaaack~

Hollyann, good job with posting photos.

I agree with you all when you said everyone looks like they seem~especially BP! ;)

Glad to see everybody is well today...let's pray "not me" took his problems far far away from all of us.

Well, DNiece didn't win the trip to WDW, but she is such a mature child she explained to me why her group should be proud of their accomplishments in having made it as far as they did. I'm so proud of her.:teeth:

I'll come back in a little bit with some photos of the competition. I hadn't tried to photograph her cheerleading with my digital yet, but they turned out very well.

*My light is on all day during the week, but that is mostly because I read while I work, I take notes on the TK thread just to keep up and I sign off every night before I go home.*

OH NOOOOOO!

I hope we dont lose all the great storys that BP has on this thread....I wanted to save them and I dont have the time right now !:(

Bowling huh?....I guess Ill just have to take bowling up again...although I dont think anything will help me lose my Rear.... with all this sitting on it and DISing. I havent bowled in so long that the ball wont be the only thing going down the gutter.

I just got a joke from my DBIL, That had me almost spitting my Coffee all over my PC....

I just had to share it with all of you ..........................

A sister and brother are talking to each other when the
little boy gets up and walks over to his Grandpa and says,
"Grandpa, please make a frog noise."

The Grandpa says, "No."

The little boy goes on, "Please...please make a frog noise."

The Grandpa says, "No, now go play."

The little boy then says to his sister, "Go tell Grandpa
to make a frog noise."

So the little girl goes to her Grandpa and says, "Please
make a frog noise."

The Grandpa says, "I just told your brother 'no' and I'm
telling you 'no'."

The little girl says, "Please...please Grandpa make a frog
noise."

The Grandpa says, "Why do you want me to make a frog noise?"

The little girl replied, "Because mommy said when you
croak we can go to Disney World!"

:rotfl::laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :rotfl:
He knows what a Disney freak I am .....
He sent me another one, but Id have to clean it up first to post it..(its not about disneybut it is funny! ).....

Dear Abby,

My husband is not happy with my mood swings. The other day, he bought me a mood ring

so he would be able to monitor my moods.

When I'm in a good mood it turns green.

When I'm in a bad mood it leaves a big

_(bad word)__ red mark on his forehead.

Maybe next time the _(bad word)_ will buy me a diamond.

He and my DH are very good with putting up with my DSs and my moods.....They hide at the approprate times!:teeth:

Betsy

tiggerwannabe,

Neat pictures!......Very pretty girls...I was never into cheerleading...But I do like to watch the ones on TV....I would never be the one on top....I would be sure to take a nose dive....And Id feel so bad for everyone who would have to hold me up!
