Well, lookie here, I'm 'ON"! (for now anyway) See, now that my 'light is on', I'll appear more off and on than just appearing off all the time. Kinda weird for me really. It also makes a difference on the buddy list, if you/I are on mine/yours.

This won't last long I'm sure.....I'm just too afraid 'someone' will think I'm here 24/7. :o REALLY, I'm not. ;)

Well, since it is nearing 3 am I will have to sign off now and try to get some sleep.

I know I will be up in the night because those darn cats are in the house and will probably want out in about an hour. But they are :cat: sleeping so nice right now I hate to disturb them. :D

Cool new light ;)

I will have to check out the buddy list and see if you are on or not.

I don't really care if someone thinks all I do is sit on my lazy butt in front of this screen or not. I know that it is not ALL that I do, it might be a big part of what I do, but not ALL:tongue:

Just checked the buddy list and you are on!!!!!!

I have a buddy list but I hardly ever look at it.

I think that fast food is a real downfall in my life. My kids seem to want to live on the stuff and therefore I was doing the same. I hope to break that habit, at least for myself.
Robin, my DD seems to be just the opposite, whereas DS & I sometimes lived off fast food, back in 'our' days, alone together. DD is not at all excited about fast food, and now that DS has worked in fast food, he's turning his thoughts also. ;) Healthier yes, more cooking for me, DEFINATELY! But, it's worth it.

Just the other day, while talking with my brother on the phone, I said I had to go start dinner, and he replied, you mean the 3-dinner plan?! It's true. I cook differently so everyone will eat.

:rotfl:

The only downside I see is that someone sees you 'on', thinks you're 'on', when you're really not, and they now think you're avoiding the PM, post, whatever.

Bigger things in life to worry about, I know. ;)

Nitey night for me, too. Cats or not. :cat:

I know what that is like.

I try to have at least one thing in every meal that each person likes. It is so hard because nobody will ever eat the same things. There are very few things that I can make that will please everyone.

Boy...........you skip one night and ya miss all the action!

WS/PA/BP - (may I quote a friend here....) "Hubba hubba!" Ya'll ARE one good lookin' family! Grandkids, too! There's a bunch of cutie-patooties running loose in Pennsylvania! WS - you SURE you have 3 kids? BP - you're comments on the beautiful PA were right on the money! You, sir, are one lucky guy!

Cruisin & Kim - I'm sorry I didn't stay up til 3am chatting with you. I would have told you my Wendy's story! Wanna hear it anyway? Okay!

Like Kim, I used to be a fast food junkie! When DH and I moved to Sicily for 3 years, they didn't have ANY fast food restaurants. The only thing the Sicilians ate was Italian food! Anyway, the NATO base had a single, lonely Wendys. So, about 3-4 times a week, I'd drive over and meet DH for lunch or dinner. Or even just to get a Diet Coke (Sicilians don't drink a lot of diet coke - hard to find).

Anyway, about half way through our time there, I decided to go back to the states and visit my folks (and eat junk food). Well my mother decides that she's going to take me to lunch and treat me to fast food.....she knows how I am. Where does she take me?.............WENDY'S!!! She was in the mood for chilli. She got in line, ordered fries & a diet coke for me while I walked across the street and got a Burger King Chicken Sandwich and proceeded to eat it in the dining room with her!

Since that day, almost 10 years ago, I've been to Wendy's twice. I love the food, but after a steady diet of it, I just can't do it!

Gotta start another post!

NEW POST!!! NEW POST!!!

Kim, many congrats on losing your weight. I see your 1/2 pound from a new clippie AND you made your Thanksgiving goal! I haven't made one of those goals yet. BIG DEAL on the pants! I know EXACTLY how you feel! I am almost ready to go to single digits, although I've only lost a few pounds. I guess it will depend on the jeans. My hubby made a zinger of a comment the other day when I bent over to get something and he pinched me! Let me just say he was properly rewarded for his lewd behavior! Nap time!!!

Cruisin - You ARE sweet! I know you like to hide your marshmallow reputation behind crunchy candy coating, but you're such a sweetie pie.........there's no escaping it!

DalPal - sounds like you've been busy. I told DH about the dust storm you created brushing off your horses. He laughed! I'm with you.........that IS a good disguise (Santa) BrerPapa has on!

BrerPapa - good disguise, great family and we missed you! Glad you're back. Be careful out there in the dark side - May The Force Be With You, ObiWan.

:wave2: and good morning everyone.

If I am bleary eyed today it is KIM'S fault  She wouldn't let me go to bed last night!!

Just kidding I really enjoyed staying up late and talking to you Kim.

Hope everyone has a good day. I did all the laundry yesterday which I usually do on Sundays. Today is scheduled for fish tank cleaning and then Dance Recital and then??????? probably dissing::yes::

Okay - I'm gonna try! Here's a picture of Holly (the wonder) dog! I hope, I hope, I hope this works!

Another pic!

...............dang! I thought I had it. It may be too big, so I'll hold off and try again later! Oh, well

Holly is really cute and REALLY small....
Keep trying though. I love to see everybodys pics:D

Holly is really a cute, LITTLE dog ::yes::

Does she have one of those bath scrubbie things in her mouth???

Keep trying, Ann. You are getting pictures to show up, that is great. Now all you need to do is practice.

Did you use imagestation????

I'm glad you like the picture. Holly really IS a little dog. Yeah, that's an adult sized bath scrubbie in her mouth. I went to discard it and missed the can..........well, she grabbed it and started running! She's 5 years old now (that pic is about 2 years ago) and she's a grand total of 8 pounds!

I don't think I used imagestation. I used the one on the DISBoards. Are they the same?

Okay - trying again. This one is DH and oldest GS, Carter!
