Paula says he's a liar. She or someone who sounds like her left a message on his machine. Still, I'm not sure. Sounds like someone who wants to promote his book/album.

I'm not sure yet either. I would hope that Paula would be smarter than that. And I think that Corey is trouble and maybe just looking to futher promote his book and CD but I guess it could be possible. I surely hope it's a lie though.

I don't really believe it, but what about those cell phone records? :confused3
I really think deep down inside this guy is a nut looking for free PR....

I would hope it's not true. Wouldn't she be able to sue for slande or lible if he was lying?

I don't believe it. He and his family look like scumbags looking for a buck.

I don't believe it. THere were ZERO facts or evidence.

Even if it was true, what would it matter on anything now? All for ratings. And the whole thing was worse than ametuerish.

Didn't watch the show, but it's very convenient that he's bringing this up now. Why not before? Why after all the talk lately about Paula maybe being on something? I think he thinks it's a good time to try something.

I guess i'm in the minority, but I believe him...... I think he's hurt by the way she dumped him and he's lashing out by trying to make a buck out of it to boot.... she seems unstable enough to do this !

Oh I do believe him. I think something did happen between them, that sounded like her voice on his voice mail. I don't think he did this "just to clear his mind". He is definately out for the money. His song he was singing was stupid and didn't sound good at all. Another no-talent trying too hard to make a name for himself.

How can you say there is "ZERO facts or evidence?" It sure seems like a fact that she called him NUMEROUS times. That in itself should not be allowed. The judges on AI should not have contact with current contestants.

That said, I do believe he is only doing this for the PR. I don't think he is lying. Paula doesn't strike me as the sharpest knife in the drawer.

what evidence? They showed a phone bill. What did that mean? Nothing. Did they show a link? Where? I didn't see it. Did they say they matched the number to hers? nope. That "voice mail".. I can't say it was her or not. It could have been anyone. Impersonating someone is not hard to do especially when the voice quality isn't that good and needed subtitles.

He seemed to be reciting what was in one of her rooms about the setup and the pet's names. They did do a walk through of her home on Oprah.

His mother's reaction after she read the lyrics did not seem sincere at all. Wouldn't a mother be a bit more upset? And when she said she didn't like him associating with her, but she said she answered the phone and talked her her a lot? Wouldn't she put her foot down if she was really concerned?

Did everyone notice how they held his CD towards the camera long enough for all to see?

I noticed the CD cover too. BUT I do think that was her voice and I'm not saying they were sleeping together, but I do think there was some contact between them and that she was helping him a bit. AND I think this is done for a publicity stunt on his part. Why wait until now to bring all this to light? "I'm just trying to clear my mind" YEAH RIGHT!!!

Understand that I do not believe his entire story. I would certainly question if they slept together. I do not think this kid is being totally honest. However, I am making the assumption that Prime Time Live verified that the phone numbers on his bill were Paula's phone number. I can't believe they would spend an hour doing this story and never checking to see if this was her number. If in fact it was her number, she should never have had any contact with him while he was on the show. I don't care if they spent hours only talking about the weather. She should not have been contacting him for any reason.

I didn't watch it yet either. I taped it and will probably watch it tomorrow or something. But that's the same exact thing I was thinking, what made him decide to bring this up now?

I believe there was a relationship which isn't cool! Sexual who knows? But yet again I too believe Paula seems very unstable and looks like she's on drugs half the time so I wouldn'd be shocked if it was true.
I also believe Corey was looking for some public attentions and he got it.
In a way a can understand how he and his family could get caught up in keeping the secret she's a celebrity I think people have done crazier things in order to get close to a celebrity.

I believe it. When I first heard it I wasn't surprised. I remember thinking she was pretty over the top about him, when I didn't think he had much to offer.

I think the phone records offered proof of some sort of relationship, but no proof of anything sexual. The phone message just said things like "I don't know what's going on" and advice on not to talk to the press. I don't think that's very incriminating.

Since the phone records indicate the he called her (assuming that it is indeed her number), it really proves nothing, except maybe he's a stalker. The voice message...well, it wasn't really clear enough to tell...it could have been an impersonation.

I don't know if there is any truth to his story or not...I do know he is definately using it for publicity and CD/book sales...he waited way too long to say anything if there was no financial motive. Paula may be no lady, but Corey is no gentlemen or innocent victim...the show said he has no permanent address (what about his parents?) My guess he's street wise hustler out to scam a buck.

I believe him. I do think he's an opportunist, and is doing this to promote his CD. But I still think there was enough there to definitely plant a bee in my bonnet that things were going on between he and Paula.

The cell phone bills are the most damning evidence in my book, and trust me, even the local yokel news station here would not run something like that unless it's been verified. There is a huge liablity issue there, and if it weren't true, they would be opening themselves up to a monstrous lawsuit. If he were a stalker, then why did some of the calls last two, three, and even four hours? As far as the sexual relationship goes, that is pure speculation, and can never be proved. Stranger things have happened... :confused3

P.S. I liked the song...sorry! Not enough to go buy it, but enough to turn up K97 if it came on.

I was kind of surprised that at the end of American Idol last night, the singers went up to Paula and started to give her two bouquets of flowers; when Simon and Randy ended up taking them. If I were the producers of Idol, I don't think I'd want a gesture like that, which could remind people that Paula is under attack. "Why would they give her flowers? Oh yeah, that Prime Time special is coming on now!" I think something did go on with them, but the guy's a slimebag for capitalizing on it. What do you think the show should do about it? If it's true, they'd have to fire her... :confused3

i would like to believe she is professional enough not to do tis, but after watching her go crazy when constine left the show I wondered if there was something going on with them..

sorry but thats what I though---- please no flames
