Who believes Corey Clark's claims?

So let's say his claims ARE true.

Do you believe Paula should lose her job? If you made a mistake at your job, would you expect to be fired?

Also, am I the only one who did not think the voice on the voicemail sounded like Paula?

When your job is judging and critiquing contestants, YES. She should be fired if she was giving advice or any type of coaching to someone she's supposed to be having an unbiased opinion of. If you asked all the other contestants, I think they would agree that it wasn't just a little mistake.

That voicemail sounded EXACTLY like Paula. WITHOUT A DOUBT. Listen to it again.

I think Corey is a slimey dirtbag who is just trying to garner publicity for his new cd....however, after watching the special last night, I think there might be some truth to his story. The evidence:

Voice mail message: That sounded EXACTLY like Paula, without a doubt. Why would she tell him not to speak to the press? Already, she's lost all credibility to me.

Phone records: I doubt the show would present these without having verified the numbers. A Sprint store employee also said they came into the store to purchase the phones. Even if the employee is lying, what's up with the calls, Paula?

The bottle of throat medication with Paula's name on it. How did Corey get that?

He was able to identify her house, the names of her dogs.....even if Paula only contacted him once outside the show, she violated show policy, she's shown bias and I would no longer trust her as a judge on the show. This season she's already displayed some erratic behavior, and now this? She brings nothing to the show. It's time for Paula to go.

I don't know what to believe, but I do agree he is sleezy. Now...

The bottle of throat medication with Paula's name on it. How did Corey get "that?"
Is it possible she had the meds with her while working the show...used the last dose and tossed it in the trash? Mr. Sleaze sees her toss it and takes it for a souvenir? Possible, I think.

"He was able to identify her house, the names of her dogs....."
I don't know about you, but I think it's entirely possible he learned her dog's names because she talked about her pooches. Everyone I work with knows my dog's name and vice versa. Plus, how many celebrities drag their dogs with them wherever they go? Also, when he described her house he really didn't go into a whole lot of detail. If her house had ever been in a magazine layout or on Oprah as previously mentioned I do think he would be able to garner vague descriptions like he did.

Just something to think about....

He may very well have had some sort of inappropriate relationship with Paula. However, it's obvious he's only doing it for the money and publicity. It's obvious to me that he intended to do it from the start and blackmail may have been his original motive. Otherwise, why would he hang on to a bottle of cough syrup for 2 years? He could have sold it but holding on to that seems pretty silly considering all the other expensive things he claims she gave him. He knew good and well that bottle would be leverage in some kind of scheme against her.

But that only makes him a scumbag. Most would agree that he is, myself included. But, it doesn't make Paula right. Her job is to be a non-biased judge on AI. She has a hard enough time doing that. If she is coaching a contestant to help him get the edge over the others then she has broken the rules and should be fired.

I still don't see the big deal. he did not win the competition, and WOULD NOT have one the competition even if he stayed in it.

Actually, it's a huge deal. He could have taken that slot from someone who could very well have gone on to win the entire competition. Paula most DEFINITELY should lose her job if the information is verified by Fox executives. What she did is not a "mistake." Mistakes happen accidentally and are almost always not intended. If this is true, then Paula fully intended to try and skew the results of a major, televised competition. We know that Corey would not have won anyway due to being thrown out on another issue, but what we DON'T know is if his being voted into the final group took that slot away from someone who could have gone on to win the whole thing. Say, for instance, one of those booted contestants they interviewed last night.

I thought it sounded exactly like her. In fact, I TiVo'd the show and just went back and watched that part again. I am willing to bet big bucks it is her on that voice mail.

WELL! The latest is that Corey told Fox to leave Paula alone, that she hadn't done anything wrong other than have sex (he did NOT say she had sex with HIM this time). He has refused to help Fox in investigating the matter. That tells me that he may be well aware he can't really back up his claims. I sure hope ABC got all their ducks in a row before they aired that scumbag's claims.

I don't know, I guess I just don't take anything I see on the TV news for face value anymore.

.

How do we know that the message wasn't advice given to him after his police record was made public? Unless the entire conversation is played, we do not know that the snippet had anything to do with an affair between the two of them. She could have been advising him to just keep quiet when the press started hounding him about being booted off the show for concealing his police charges.

She has lost no credibility if we do not know the entire conversation.

Also, her house had been on two television shows that season. There were no secrets there.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Well, whether or not an affair was had isn't the only issue. Just the fact that she had his phone number and contacted him, regardless of what it was about, is unethical. Period.

I agree completely. That's the part that people keep glossing over and I just don't understand why.

But that would have been after he was removed from the competition. How is that unethical? I'm sure it would have been very easy for Paula to get his phone number.

I don't see the issue about the taped phone message at all.

One of the TV channels had an interview with some of the crew of AI. This one lady - I guess an assistant to Paula - said that Paula gave her phone # to ALL of the top 12. She told them to call whenever they needed something. The assistant was saying it was not unusual to have Ruben or one of the others calling for help with something.

Most cell phones have caller ID - someone calls you once & you have their number.

We don't know WHEN that message was left. I don't recall hearing a time/date stamp. That message could have been left in the inbox for quite some time.

It is almost as if he was "stalking" her. Iit would make sense that he would find out some details about her. She could have said something or did something to the group & he is taking it personally. The former AI contestants already said that she bought them ALL necklaces with a star on them. I feel that Corey is telling us only partial truths - then embellishing them to seem as if it was just meant for him. Listening to the other former AI contestants, I don't see how he could find the time to slip out unnoticed that often for those long amounts of time. It is one thing if he hooked up with another contestant - they were always together. But one of the judges?? Something just doesn't sound right.

Sorry - but how many people do you know who is going to have someone over for sexual relations will only do it in the GUEST room & NEVER the bedroom???

I didn't care for him to begin with, I think he is just out for money. Why did he wait 2 years to kiss & tell??? Sounds too convenient to me.....

Though I must say - after this bull with Corey - I think I am starting to like Scott!! LOL!

Hmmm. There's many that never even make it inside the house. ;)
