Bobbi Kristina really needs our prayers. She's understandably having a very difficult time, dealing with her mother's death. The idiots, surrounding her, are helping her cope...by feeding her pills and booze.

Not that, obviously, people shouldn't be stepping in and trying to help her and get her a way to cope sober - but she was photograhped last year snorting coke.

Exactly how? No one forced her to take the drugs she made a choice to do it and the result was her death an an early age.

And one of Whitney's three stints in rehab apparently included her daughter not as an addict but as a support system for Whitney,

correction- it was last year that they both went for treatment. When I first read the article I had thought it was from years ago but obviously it was just in 2011 and they both required treatment.

While Bobby Brown may have been why she hit the drug road, they parrted ways 5 years ago. So how is he responsible?

An addict owns their own addiction, an alcoholic owns their own addiction. I don't blame the dealer or liquor store that sold me the intoxicant. They fed MY problem, they were only there for ME to request from.

Bobby Brown introduced her to the lifestyle, he didn't "make" her take them, but as someone she loved I'm sure she felt safe doing it when he said it was okay. Stupid yeah, but love can make you stupid. No matter how long ago he left her daily life, it's what he introduced her to that she couldn't quit. ...and how do you know this? Do you know, for an absolute fact, that she didn't use drugs before she met him? .... and regardless of this fact, just because she loves someone that uses drugs doesn't mean that she is required to use them, too, or that she suddenly forgot that drugs are dangerous. My husband smokes. I've never smoked a cigarette in my life. Loving him didn't make me suddenly brain damaged so that I thought, "If I smoke with him it's okay, I won't get cancer, emphysema, or heart disease because he loves me."

Whitney Houston was a drug addict. Period. It was her fault she was a drug addict. She chose to become one, she chose to continue being one. If her death is drug related, she is responsible for her own death and the pain it is causing her child and her mother. She is not innocent here, she is not a sweetheart. She is a drug addict, no different from the ones that panhandle on the corner, the ones you avoid. She could just afford a better zip code.

She is responsible. Period. She made the choice to be an addict. Was Bobby Brown a good husband? Hell to the no! But that does not negate her responsibility with regard to her choices. Blaming someone else, enables her even in death. She was amazing and it's tragic. I hope her child finds the strength to learn and heal and love herself.

You have no idea what she felt or what he said.

I am always fascinated when something like this happens how people fill in the story with their own version of what they think happened and believe it is fact.

I have been reading this whole thread, but no time to comment until now, as we had a very busy weekend.

I am amazed at the amount of people here who think they know what happened between Bobby and Whitney. I can't imagine that Whitney was clean and just got introduced to drugs with Bobby. Sorry, ain't buying it...Most people, wouldn't even be with someone like that, unless they themselves were addicts.

I am pretty certain that Whitney was into stuff before Bobby, and that is why they stayed together for so long. She was probably no stranger to any of that scene, and met a man who was also familiar with it.

Sadly, since addictions are so genetic, it now seems as if they passed that along to their daughter.

It is sad that drugs have claimed another human being, and even sadder that she wasn't able to beat her addiction, if indeed that is what killed her.

No he didn't. Im no BB supporter but it is well known that she was into drugs before she married BB. The goody two shoes image was record company produced.

You do know there is a saying: Show me your friends and I'll show you your future in 5 years." Friends & environment DO influence people. While Bobby did not hold her head down to do the drugs, her being in that kind of environment unfortunately made it conducive to her spiral downward.

It's like that with ALL addictions. An alcoholic can't expect to STAY sober while sitting in the middle of a bar with her drinking buddies boozing it up, and encouraging her to join in. It just doesn't work that way.
Look what happened to Bobby Christina last nite. Even after she drank alcohol, she probably had 5 people encouraging her to take the sedative.

But, yes, she is responsible for getting her own butt out of the situation. She is 18 now. She so needs to get away from all of that.

Yes, she is the epitome of being the poster child for, "Your talent is God's gift to you; what you do with it is your gift to God." She pissed it all away.

Bobby isn't so much a bad boy as a sniveling, abusive, drug pushing creep. Somehow he made her believe she needed him and he took her love and addicted her to drugs. So yeah, she is the ultimate person in control of her life, but no matter what, he's still the lowlife creep that sent her on a down ward spiral to her death.

ITA! I think it's delusional to think that he had no part in her downfall. Surely, she was a grown woman, however grown men and women are manipulated every day by ppl. close to them, especially spouses-especially abusive spouses. I'd bet my money that he's a sorry pos, that was probably most def. a large part of why she turned out the way she did. It's sad that she didn't have the confidence, strength ect. to not allow him to do it, but he's still the pos that brought her down with him. It seems pretty clear, that he only and most likely has always only thought about himself. Just look at his actions from last night. Instead of being even a half-decent human being and rushing to be with his child and family when she died, he decided to go on stage, make money, and make himself the center of attention.

Whitney was born into the business. Geesh, her mama sang back up for Elvis, Dionne Warwick's her cousin and Aretha Franklin is her godmother. She was music Royalty. She was no stranger to "the lifestyle".
