Disney’s Magic Band FAQ Link

We can use our phones to do all of this anyway so we really don’t need to take the bands
Correct. But if some in your party have their own phone and some don’t, please consider having MBs or getting ticket cards for them so that they can tap in to parks and LLs on their own. Using one phone for several people - pull up a ticket on the phone, have that person scan finger, pull up another ticket, have THAT person scan finger, etc. - can be slow and is inconsiderate of other guests behind you in line.

I'm sure my question has been answered but searching has not gotten me the answer.

I am taking my son and family to WDW. When I pair their Magic Bands to my phone, will it also be paired on their devices? Or should I wait until I see them and let them pair their MB to their phones?

How easy is it to buy a magic band in the park and link it to a person in my account? I have six year old MagicBands that I'm going to use for five of the six of us but I want one for my daughter in law and she doesn't have one yet. But I really don't want to pay $10 in shipping. The $35 price is already outrageous enough but I just can't stomach paying another $10. I guess I can spend $80 on stuff in the Disney store and then go and return the other items. I may do that though the store is about 30 minutes from my house. I just really don't want to pay $10 for shipping, it's really ridiculous that they don't give free shipping on orders under $80.
