We are driving up from Naples for a quick trip (1st in many years) as a suprise for my dh's 40th Birthday! . It will be my parents and dh and 3yo ds.

Its a last minute decision to do this....so havent started really planning yet. (so be prepared for lots of questions on this board!)

So which would you pick from this list of decent priced choices.

Pop Century (have our own rooms)
Corranado Springs Resort (have our own rooms)
Old Key West (and share a 1 bdrm suite)

We will have a car so I'm not sure if that makes it easier or not. :confused3

Help a girl who's all over the place trying to plan this! :cheer2:

I would get your own rooms at CSR. They have queen sized beds. In a 1 bedroom suite you or your inlaws will have to sleep on a pull out. Yikes! If you book the rooms together you are more likely to get adjoining rooms, but it's not guaranteed.

I would say Pop or CSR, as long as walking is not an issue. Pop is more compact, just easier, but CSR is nicer grounds, rooms, beds... Also consider how much time will you be in the hotel to enjoy the pools and grounds. We don't always get connecting rooms but we are always in same building, usually very close.

I think sharing with the folks is worth it for a 1 bedroom villa in a great location, but I don't think I would do it for OKW (having never stayed there). The first year DD and I traveled with the folks we had 2 rooms at CSR, last year a 1 bedroom at BWV, and this year a 1 bedroom at BLT (looking forward to the 2 bathrooms!) For me, there is still enough privacy and sharing alllows us to stay at deluxe resorts we could not otherwise afford. :woohoo:
