We have a one bedroom and will be there 9-22 - 9-28. I originally wanted a view of EPCOT, but are there better views? What have other people discovered and what did you like? Thanks in advance for your help! Jenny

Good question. Is it worth the loud road noise to possibly see Epcot. Is the view of the pool OK and is it really quiet. Feedback on this would be great.

I'd be interested in view requests, too. Great question!! :)

You have to weigh the road noise against the view of Illuminations. We were there August 17-24 and had a studio Epcot view one night and a 2 bdrm lock off wetlands view the rest of the week. Both rooms were on the 5th floor. The view of Epcot at night was awesome, but the noise from the road is constant until after 12am and the Epcot view rooms are very close to the road! The view during the day however is of the back of buildings and not really anything to look at. You can see the ball and the back of Candada (which is under construction) and some of England and France. The main view is the roof of a maintenance building of some sort. (Maybe this is the Millinieum Village building??) Anyway, it's not pretty. My three year old DS and I sat out and watched Illuminations and we loved it.

The rest of the week we had a view of the wetlands and the back of the Beach Club. Over the top of the buildings you can see the Swan and the Dolphin lit up at night as well as some of the lights from the Boardwalk. I found this view to be very pretty also and it was nice to look at any time of the day. Two more things to think about, I think you can only see Illuminations from the 5th and possible the 4th floors, but you can hear them everywhere. I don't know what a pool view would be like and some other rooms face the walkway to the villas, not very private. Hope this helps. We had a great time and I loved being at the BCV!!!!

Just back from the BCV, (loved it!) and had a dedicated one bedroom with a great pool view (Rm 336) It has a balcony just larger than the sliding doors.

We loved the pool view day and night (especially at sundown, great sunsets!) There was almost always at least a few people using the pool, but the 'noise' never became bothersome to us.

I'll probably try to request the Epcot view sometime, but the pool view was very nice as well.

Here is a picture from our balcony:

Jacksmom99 thanks for mentioning road noise...we'll try to avoid this side of the building if we can.

Nice picture Tagrel. DW and I will be at BCV in early October. Looks like pool view or Swan/Dolphin view would work for us.

Wow! Thanks so much for the responses and thanks for the great picture off your balcony! I think we've decided that we'd rather have a pool view and not the Epcot view - don't want the noise. Can't wait to get there!!!

Tagrel, thanks for the great picture. You just changed my mind. We're going in Nov and I was going to request a Epcot view, but since I have young DS's I think I'll go with a pool request. It looked like a nice place to sit in the evening after the boys are in bed.

We enjoyed the pool view on our trip last week. We were worried before we arrived that a pool view would also be a parking lot view but that was not the case. There are many places to see the Epcot fireworks such as the boat dock or at the bridge to Epcot. It also seems the the Epcot view rooms are really back in the woods.
