I have 2 ADR's and am not sure which one to keep. One is for Coral Reef (7:00pm on 8/16) and the second is for Cap'n Jacks (5:10 on 8/16). The problem is we have 6 in our party. 4 of which are small children (9,8,7,1) and we could only get ADR's at CJ's for 2 tables. I was reading the mixed reviews of Coral Reef and was having second thoughts. That's why I tried to get Capn Jacks. I was at Coral Reef more than 10 years ago and I loved it back then.

Question 1- Which one would you choose? Capn Jacks or Coral Reef

Question 2- Would they be able to sit us together at CJ's even though ADR is for 6 , but 2 tables?

Question 3 - Which would be better considering the ages of the kids?

:goodvibes
Thanks in advance for the info! I'll make sure I post which one I cancel!

CR For sure. The food is generally pretty good although if price is a major issue, be warned it is an expensive choice. CJ's food is okay but not particularly memorable. Great margaritas, though! :goodvibes

My guess is you'd be pretty close...it is not a large place.

Question 3 - Which would be better considering the ages of the kids? CR...the glass aquarium wall is endlessly fascinating for kids - and some of us adults! ;) CJ's view is also quite nice, but doesn't quite compare for the kids.

We vote for Coral Reef. We eat here every trip. It's a must for DS8. He just loves this dinner.

Thank you. We probably will stick with Coral Reef and cancel Captain Jacks. I'll bet you are right about the kids enjoying the Aquarium! It was a favorite of mine last time we were there.

Well, my vote is for Cap't Jacks. I ate at CR last year and loved it, however we ate at Cap't Jacks twice this year. Loved the lobster tail. It's a matter of preference regarding the menu.

Keep Coral Reef, captn Jacks wasnt that good and there was nothing for kids to do but color.
