Hi everybody,
My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to WDW next year, maybe in november. We just don't know exactly where we want to stay. A DisneyResort that's for sure, but which one?
Who has some advice for a young couple from Europe?
Thanks:wave2:

Speaking as part of another young couple from Europe we stayed at the Beach Club Villas with our friends who are DVC members. I would recommend staying in either the Beach club, Yacht club or Boardwalk as the location is excellent. It is only a short walk to both Epcot and MGM from all three of these hotels. I especially like the Beach Club as it is eligant yet informal, plus the pool there stormalong bay is the best hotel pool in the whole of WDW. We will definatlely stay at the Beach Club Villas again.

Another great option is the Swan or Dolphin. We are staying at the Dolphin this week and are very impressed with the location. It is a quick walk or boat ride to Epcot and MGM with buses to the other parks. We are a very short distance from the Boardwalk and have gone there twice for breakfast this week. You can often get better prices at the Dolphin, also, if cost is a factor. We have really enjoyed staying here and would certainly recommend it!

Thanks for the information.
We are thinking about staying at the Port Orleans Resort,
because of the lovely pictures we saw of it.
Swan or dolphin doesn't look quite so pictoresque in my eyes.
More businesslike. And the villas are maybe a bit large for two persons...
Can somebody tell me more about Port Orleans?

POR is great. I was just recently there for one night before moving to the Grand Floridian and I loved it!! I prefer the Mansions over AB section but that is just my opinion. We stayed in Oak Manor in a river waterview room and it was great. The room was really nice. The view was awesome and we were really close to the path that leads one way to the main pool area and the other way to the main building. The restaraunt is great and so is the food court. I loved walking around the grounds on the river, it is a very beautiful resort. The pool area is also great and the boat ride to DTD is also wonderful. You can rent surrey bikes to tour around the resort also which is really nice. I was soo happy here because it was so beautiful and peaceful. I really enjoyed staying here and can't wait to go back. POR is my favorite moderate!!! I think you will really enjoy POR!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

I really cannot wait to go there, but we have to save some money first. It' s a long and expensive way to Florida from Europe.
About 5 years ago I've stayed at the All Star Music Resort and it was okay. But now I would like a resort, that is a bit more luxurious.
That's why I am so interested in Port Orleans. Thanks for your nice story.
When we have really saved a lot, in about 10 years or so or when we hit the jackpot we will go to one of the really expensive hotels...
I think it's very nice that there is such a variety of resorts.
