Where to eat off site

Just had an email thru from them a couple of hours ago, 20% off all food(and non-alcoholic drinks), valid until 22 July. Printed it off but so many places we want to eat and we only have 3 evenings before DDP.

just got the same, but it runs out 4 days before we arrive

We arrive 18th, OKW from 21st so we can use it but I want to try the new Texas Roadhouse, 20% off might just sway me to Logans and leave Texas til Nov.

Outback looks good too!

Does any one know o any man vs food challenges I would love to this for DH he loves the show and is always says I can do that! I know about the Ice cream one but any steak, meat challenges

I love reading this post...OK Wayne I need a review on Texas Roadhouse.. our favourites are:

Bahama Breeze
Olive Garden - I've visited 6 different ones in the Disney, IDrive, Orlando Burbs, Florida Mall areas and always had a great meal... is it authentic?.. heck no!.... is it good?... yup!
Cheesecake Factory - yumorama
Cracker Barrel and Perkins for breakfast
Longhorn has pushed out Outback for us!

Oh gosh now I find myself wondering what I have to give up for August I fear that only Cheesecake and Longhorn will make the cut on this trip just to give you an idea of my fav favs LOL I'll save Bahama Breeze for November but we will deffo do Perkins for breakkie in August!

Santa fe do a steak one 32oz? - think you get a t shirt if you do it.

Fuddruckers does big burgers. DH managed to finish the 2lb one..apparently they do a 5lb one aswell.

Big vote for Bahama Breeze - great food, service and atmosphere. Number one choice for us followed by Cheesecake Factory and Red Lobster.:wave2:

ok for evening meals we visit and like
Outback(have i mentioned that before;) eaten there in orlando, vero, hilton head and California and never had a bad meal at any)
Smokey bones
Chilies (never tried the TOGO at the side:rotfl:))
olive garden
Orlando ale house(much better than Manays )
Cafe tu tu tango on idrive
Have i mentiond the outback yet:rotfl:

For snackie afternoon meals we visit
Chic-fil-a
fire-house sub (miles better than subway)
panera bread (think this has gone a bit expensive now )

For breakfast were too stuffed from the night before to eat so never bother. usually a coffee and a muffin in room

Ok where is Santa fe hubby ate 24 oz before and managed desert and he is still only a 32 inch waist I don't know how he does it lol

Another shout out for Logan's we tend to end up there 2 times at least. DW loves the teriyaki steak and vegetable skewers. We love the pick the steak and 3 sides. Also the free sweet rolls are really nice.

Not one for peanut allergies as all over the floor!

Like Outback as well, want to try Texas de Brazil this time based on the dis podcast team reviews.

Carrabba's is also a fav but not for dinning in for some reason we have always had meltdowns (not always the kids...:crazy2:) but for kerbside delivery where we can split an entree and sides is always enough food to order one adult and one kids and split back in our villa

I am on a diet for the holiday right now and all this talk of food is driving me mad!!!! too many places to try still :goodvibes

and people have to ask why we go back year after year, I'll show them this thread in future, love the diversity!

Hi,

We love Olive Garden. Could be swayed by the wine:rotfl:

Celebration Town Tavern is great food and atmosphere.

Tijuana Flats but not been for long time mainly as have fussy 2 year old who would probably go hit the hot sauce bar when I wasn't looking :crazy2:

Quite like Chevys too.

Darn it now I want food

I think it will definitely be red lobster DH wants to go here and he never gives any input in to planning apart from arranging his golf day and I'm happy to eat here!

Do cheesecake factory have takeaway or just allow you to go in for desert? I really want to try that glorious looking Oreo cheesecake lol!

It's going to be a toss up between

Logan's
Outbacks

Don't see why you can't just have dessert. There is a take out counter as well, always busy.
We go for the entrees though, 3 of us share 2, strangly I don't really care for their desserts, cheesecake is one of my favourite desserts but just traditional plain new york cheesecake, their facy range doesn't do a lot for me. Karen & Matt enjoy them.

I love cheesecake I am very excited to know I can just get a cheesecake to take away as DH isn't bothered by it! He would much rather be in the food court he loves the Mexican one there!

sweet tomatoes and olive garden..

when we're not on the dining plan, we go to sweet tomatoes almost every day!!!! yum!!!! (yes, i'm a vegetarian!!!! - that opening salad bar is to die for !!!!!!! though DD goes crazy for the corn bread of all things!! )

This is a great thread!

It's my first time going and we're staying offsite so no DDP etc

We have a couple of ADRS:-
Crystal Palace (breakfast) (for fun since its my first trip)
Portobellos
San Angel
Le Cellier

We plan on being offsite for majority of dining and so far plan on visiting:-

Bahama Breeze
Denny's (for Brekkie)
Olive Garden

We'll be staying fairly near the Pointe (at the Peabody). Can anyone tell me which, if any, restaurants there are okay? I like fresh foods - meats, salad, veg, pasta, pizza - but enjoy Indian, Chinese, Mexican etc
