Where is your "spot"?

Is there a "spot" or area in WDW you tend gravitate to? You know, the one that makes you think "This is where I want to be." For us, it tends to be the area of Liberty Land and Frontier Land. It's not necessarily for the rides, it's the atmosphere that attracts us. Where is your "spot"?

I LOVE the back entrance area of Epcot. It is so relaxing! The music is playing from France, the pretty view of the canal with the French decor along the wall, the lack of people, the occasional rare character meet and greet... I just love that area. As we walk out of Epcot from the back entrance we always take the lower walkway under the bridge to Beach Club and I just always feel at home.

That is def. my happy place.

The awesome air conditioning vent in the single rider line of Test Track (right at the curve before the boarding area) is often my favorite place to be while at WDW.

Others include the Star Tunnel portion of Space Mountain and anywhere near Haunted Mansion,

World Showcase. We hop there when we get tired of the crowds and hubbub at the other parks. Its so relaxing just to stroll; plenty of places to sit in the shade with a beverage. The France/GB side is particularly pleasant.

For us it's the walkway around the lake between the Beachclub and Boardwalk. The echo of a friendship boat horn off the water...

Just as you walk through tunnels at the entrance .... I always stop there and pause...I think, this is what you've been waiting for - I get ready to embrace the view of Main Street .

If I told you my spots I would have to kill you. I have a few particular tucked away break places I like to chill out in.

Beach at Fort Wilderness. There is just something about it. Sound of the waves lapping the beach, the boat horns in the distance, a Yuengling in hand...it's just bliss.

Bench in Germany, good beer in hand, people watching. I love the music at Epcot, and the background noise of people, horns, rides, etc.

Fireplace at AKL. They removed the comfy chairs last time we were there ( ), but we would pull up a chair, and just stare at the fire and decompress. Kids would chill by the TV watching cartoons.

Right outside of the Jungle Cruise. But I worked there, so that's obvi.

I love the area around Gastons Tavern. Give me a Lefou's Brew and a seat somewhere near the fountain and I am happy there.

Commissary Lane, especially close to Sci Fi - It's rarely crowded and often shaded. I like listening to the music and people watching. Before I discovered the miracle of non-drowsy Dramamine started 2 days before my trip, this was where I would hang out while my husband and daughter went on Star Tours. I just found it peaceful.

Wilderness Lodge Lobby - I like when I wake up earlier than pretty much everyone else in the world and can stroll down to the pretty empty lobby and rock in a rocking chair in front of the fire for a while.

The bridge between the Hub and Adventureland as soon as you can see the sign and hear the drums.

My location is EPCOT during the Flower and Garden Festival, my spot is any of the flower gardens!

My husband proposed in the gazebo at POR so I love going there to reminisce and enjoy the peacefulness that is that area of the resort. Also, standing anywhere along the fence around World Showcase looking across at any of the countries or Spaceship Earth. Those are my spots!

Main Street USA!

Where it all began for me back when I was a kid. It never felt like a Disney holiday until I walked under the railroad tracks and onto Main Street to see the castle each time for the first time.

Now ... Any place along World Showcase Lagoon. All the views. The atmosphere and people watching are what I love now. I really enjoying sitting outside the Rose & Crown in the evening time. You can hear the piano player getting after it. All the patrons singing along. The hustle and bustle of the "High Street" in the UK. It's a really cool atmosphere to me.
