Where is your "spot"?

World Showcase. We hop there when we get tired of the crowds and hubbub at the other parks. Its so relaxing just to stroll; plenty of places to sit in the shade with a beverage. The France/GB side is particularly pleasant.

Me too! I think this is what makes EPCOT my 2nd favorite park. It's so beautiful there.

My balcony at BLT with the theme park view. It feels home. I love watching Disney "wake up" in the morning, the castle stage show fireworks during the day, the monorials whizzing by, steam from the WDW railroad as it chugs past space mountain, the sun setting over the grand floridian, the twilight of lights coming on in tomorrowland, the flash of the on ride photo from splash mountain, the electrical water parade, wishes fireworks going off, the park slowly settling back down for a good night.

I don't really have a single spot because it changes depending on what we're doing or our mood. It's one of the things I really like, there is a lot of variety and taking the time to slow down and really take it in works just about anywhere.

I have a number of them. The boardwalk area early in the morning when it's just a few hardy joggers and is just waking up. The tile room in the Moroccan Pavilion at WS, I sit there in the cool and just look at the beautiful tiles and relax. The gardens in Japan at WS, all sorts of little areas tucked in there. The tea room at the GF, it reminds me of being a little girl and playing grown up with my Mama.

Is there a "spot" or area in WDW you tend gravitate to? You know, the one that makes you think "This is where I want to be." For us, it tends to be the area of Liberty Land and Frontier Land. It's not necessarily for the rides, it's the atmosphere that attracts us. Where is your "spot"?

I like this area at MK, but I LOVE New Orleans Square at DL. It is just so quaint and beautiful. It's my all time favorite Disney spot.

GF lobby, I could sit and relax in there for hours.

The waterfall in Canada, the tile fountain in Morocco, and the bench's tucked away from the hustle and bustle in China.

Any bench where I can people watch and TOT in my view.

I love the area around Gastons Tavern. Give me a Lefou's Brew and a seat somewhere near the fountain and I am happy there.
This! The low light and the fountain is so peaceful back there.

Other than that, I would say the area near the border of Frontier/Adventure Land. Frontier Land's music loop is my favorite in all of the parks (goes to youtube...).

Any onsite resort, walking along the beautifully landscaped/themed paths early in the morning to get coffee or breakfast. So clean, calm, and beautiful.

I also have a distinct love of the moderate and value food courts. They just scream "Disney Vacation!" :earboy2:

Many. But 2 in particular came to mind right away. We usually arrive at MCO about 10am. Our first day we usually don't hit a park. So sitting poolside near the bar is one because it signifies the start of the vacation and helps us unwind after a long day of travel.

Next one is hanging out right along the path in between Mexico and Norway near the margarita cart for a couple hours in the shade with a couple drinks.

I swear I don't just drink the whole vacation. :drinking1:rotfl2:
