Where is the ME counter located at MCO?

I will be flying with Southwest. We have a late arrival (10 PM), therefore we will be getting our own bags instead of waiting until the wee hours of the morning for luggage delivery. Anyway, once I get off the plane, where do I go first? Get the luggage or check in with ME? Which leads me to the next question...how difficult is it to find the ME counter?

Thanks!

I've not used ME, but I think the counter is down by the car rental places.

Yes, the DME Welcome Center is on the same level as the rental car counters. In fact, they share the same counter top as some of the rental companies (the counter tops are identical to airline check-in counters, and you know how they are all lined up next to each other? Same thing).

I've read people identify the DME desk as being on Level 1, but unless I'm remembering wrong I can't imagine how that is called Level 1, since we had to then go down another level to get to the bus queues.

I think you're remembering correctly Eric...I had the same issue a few weeks ago. The wording didn't work for me, so I just kept going down and down until I got to the bottom!!

The only complaint I had using ME was that I could not find the counter. I did not think that it was clearly marked. On the back of the luggage tag booklet it will give you directions on where to find the counter. Make sure you check in first and then go accross the isle to line up for a bus. Once we found the ME area I had to get out of the board the bus line and stand in the check in line to then stand in the board bus line again.

There's a Magical Express desk on the "A" side lowest level, inside in line with bus space no. 30. (You can peek outside for a moment every now and then to get your bearings)

For arrivals into Orlando after 10 PM I suggest having at least one person go to the ME desk first. The check in line is to the wall side of the foot traffic through the lower level inside. The bus queues are to the window side of the foot traffic. (As of May)

Ask any airport person to direct you to Level 1 "A high numbers"

The counter is inside the terminal adjacent to the "A high" bus parking.

After 10 PM is "on demand" rather than "scheduled" Magical Express hours. You need to go to the ME counter as soon as possible so they know you are coming. After checking in to ME, if you are required to go get your luggage yourself (depends on how many CM's are there that late), the last bus will wait for you.
