Where is a good place in WDW to get engaged at?

we saw a couple. Get married at the gazebo structure at the Boardwalk. It had. A lovely.back drop of the Swan and Dolphin. resorts. It would also suggest any of the Magic Kingdom resort launcches/piers at the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Propose to her during the ride!!! ...at Soarin'!! Or.. It's a Small World ride!! Or propose to her at her favorite ride!

This ^
Do it on Tower of Terror just before you drop. Tie the ring to yourself with a string though. If she can catch it during the drop sequence you know it was meant to be.

How about an evening carriage ride at Port Orleans Riverside? The grounds are beautiful and there is something about a horse & carriage ride that is romantic :) Good luck with your decision!

I saw two on YouTube that I love:
1: take here to see Cinderella. When having your picture taken you spy a glass slipper (previously placed with help of cast member). You ask her to try it on and slip it on her foot. After it fits tell her that she is the perfect princess for you and pop the question.

2: you have her take pictures with princesses. Ask them How they make the perfect wish. They will hopefully show your gf how to wish. (get a cast member in on the gig) then when her eyes are closed slip down on one knee with the ring box open in your hand. Ask will you make my wish come true?

Whatever her favorite thing is to do at WDW - whether its a show, character, place, or ride - do it there.

For example: my friend loves World Showcase and has always wanted to go to Italy. Her BF proposed right near Italy as they were waiting for IllumiNations to start. They always joke they got engaged "in Italy".

On Main Street in front on Cinderella Castle! Get an early morning ADR at Crystal Palace, so there aren't too many people on Main S:lovestructreet, get a photopass photographer to take your picture, and pop the question! That way you will have photographs of the reaction!

I proposed to my fiance at Fantasia Gardens mini golf. We finished our round and then sat down to add up the scores (I made sure she won). I then told that she won the grand prize, me, and pulled out the ring. She wasn't expecting it, and she was completely caught off gaurd. I also made an ADR at Artist's Point to celebrate. The best part is I can tell peole that she won me in a game of mini golf. Good Luck!

I would contact Gifts of A Lifetime, an Orlando company that specializes in custom events. We used them for an event at Magic Kingdom for welcoming our daughter in law to the family. In over 20 visits to WDW doing many of the extra things, this is by far the best experience we have had.

DH proposed to me in Epcot at the pavilion down a few steps from the bridge between France and England. It was near dusk (several hours before Illuminations) and there was nobody around, so it was very private. Afterwards, a couple of CM's stopped by to congratulate us after they had seen it from the bridge and volunteered to take a photo for us. :) I found out later that DH had chosen that spot on a prior trip to WDW.

I was thinking watching the fireworks while on a hammock at the Poly. That would be a personal sweet romantic proposal.

I proposed to my wife at CRT. We had window seats during the fireworks. I had called ahead and had a glass slipped engraved with the date on it and the restaurant was going to deliver it for us.

Right after the fireworks were over the lights came up and the whole staff was standing beside our table (we didn't notice them because we were watching the fireworks). The whole place was quiet as everyone was wondering what was going on.

The waiter had a silver platter with a wrapped box and other stuff on it. He said, "A gift from your prince..." and had her take the box (the slipper). While she was opening the box I got the ring out and, when she looked up I asked her. Thankfully, she said yes. We got a standing ovation from everyone there. It was pretty awesome....if I do say so myself. :)

This was a Friday, it was the 13th, it was a full moon and it was an E-ticket night (remember those???). Was awesome because we had (essentially) the park to ourselves afterwards.

But I like the ToT idea, too!

I like the #2 idea. It'd be cute and a good way to get others in on it and still surprise her. Plus there would be someone there to get pictures.
(Plus, hello from Manhattan)

I liked the ToT idea, but I really don't want to risk losing the ring on a ride. I'm sure they're smooth for the most part, but if something happened, well yikes.

DH proposed to me in the rose garden next to the castle during wishes. It was amazing and no one even noticed.

I was thinking the Rose Garden, too, but maybe before or after Wishes when the Photopass photog is there and you could get all kinds of great pictures!

I saw a couple get engaged in front of the Italy pavillion a couple of years ago. It was cool. They were with a whole bunch of friends and after he proposed, I offered to get a group shot of everyone for them. It was cool!

'd go with what ever is special at Disney for the two of you. If she likes Buzz Lightyear, do it there, if she has a sense of humor, go for Laught Floor, if she's a romantic, go with a princess theme. You know her much better than we do. What does SHE like?

We helped a guy propose to his gf while on my program. He knew she LOVED the picture frames and was looking to buy one for the trip. So he printed out "Will you marry me ____ (whatever her name was)" and we put it in a display frame and hid him in the back. Her sister, who was in on the gig, brought the gf to the gift shop to look around. Me and my co workers were so excited we had these big goofy looks on our faces. Her and her sister would stop, look at tee shirts, Mickey hats and just leisurely browsing thru through out the store before she finally got to the frames on the other side of the store. And then, she just broke out in tears, and we knew she had found the message written for her and he came out from hiding! So sweet!

Another couple, a lady proposed to her girlfriend on the Characters in Flight balloon!

Didn't read all the replies so sorry if I'm repeating things, but my fiance proposed to me back in September and he did it in our room. He looked at all the packages you can do in front of the castle, etc. but knew I'd be embarrassed if it drew a crowd. Instead, he arranged to have a rose petal heart laid out on our bed by Disney Florist and when we returned to the room at the end of the day, I walked in to that surprise and then he popped the question! Worked out well because we used the rest of the night to call family and friends and celebrate!

I will caution though that Disney Florist did not adhere to the time he requested. He had told them to set it up after 5pm and they came some time between 9am and 1pm. It worked out for us but just a warning if you want to use them for something time sensitive.

Emaw! And congrats on making this decision. YouTube has a lot of great video and I wish I could type them out for you!!! Some other faces are a proposal scavenger hunt (ending during the celebrate street party) and one where people hold sings while gf is on the riverboat. You must watch them!!!

My husband proposed on manhattan hill (husband steamed open a fortune cookie and put the ring inside, another idea if you eat a yak & yeti) and we were married at st Paul's and our reception was at the wareham! Great venue!!!! Tossed banquet from the balcony.

I've witnessed two proposals!

The first was after wishes. We were sitting in the hub and during the finally the man behind us proposed to his girlfriend. They were in a small group, so when their friends started clapping, we turned around and realized what was going on. It was so cute! She was so surprised!

The second one was this past January when our family was eating in the castle. The whole place erupted into applauses when we saw him propose to her. It was so sweet!

I hope my BF is smart enough to propose to me in disney! :goodvibes

We saw one at Cirque du Soleil. The pre show clowns were out and started interacting with a woman in the audience. One of them had the ring. It was fabulous and everyone in the theater was a part of it.
