America or Mexico?

Hard part is done :dance3:...this is from the American Adventure. Tell me where it is...:tink:

Youngest DD said the same thing the other night...I need to start selling them! I actually thought about sending you one after Thanksgiving and forgot :o to ask if you'd be interested! With your COLD weather, a cookie would stay fresh once it got to your part of the country! Getting it out of the Houston area before the icing MELTED would be the hard part! :rotfl: I begin baking them the first part of December and they keep well IN THE FREEZER! :goodvibes IF we ever get cooler temperatures  it might work...PM your address and I'll see what I can do. ::yes:: Each batch makes 2 cookies and Redstorm threatened to keep the one intended for the soccer party so she and the Princess could munch on it at home! :rolleyes1 They'd be more than happy to take "the 2nd one"! ::yes:: :tink:

Yes I will PM you my address.

We haven't lost power yet. Won't be surprised if we do. It's quite gross out. Today was so messy our driveway looks like a skating rink. The snow turned to freezing rain and ice. All the tree branches are all hanging down.

Been so busy today made pierogies and wrapped all my gifts.:faint: Tomorrow have to make cupcakes and some more chocolate covered pretzels. Whoopie pies are going to have to wait, maybe next week.

Just watched...for the 2nd time :goodvibes (FOX SW immediately ran the game again after the after game analysis) of what has to be THE greatest State Championship Finals in Texas history. No one but Diane will appreciate this :rotfl:but the State 5A; Div. 1 team, Highland Park, was quarterbacked by the grandson of Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys. They played a Houston area team, Manvel. Before 25,000 fans, HP was behind at half-time by 14 points. They were behind by 10 points when they took possession on their 15 yard line with 3:12 on the clock and scored with 1:11 left. Still behind by 3 points they GOT the onside kick. Worked their way to the 11 yard line; first play, sacked back on the 16. Two incomplete passes later they scored with 36 seconds left to gain the lead 53-49. Manvel took the kick and worked their way to the HP 40 yard line with 8 seconds left; pass to receiver...CAUGHT on the 2 yard line and "gang tackled" on HALF YARD LINE with 0:00 on the clock...Highland Park wins! :cheer2: That was a fun total of 7 hours of football :goodvibes between the actual game and the rerun. I LOVE Texas high school football...and better yet, DH had to start a fire in the fireplace when the temperature dropped to 44 degrees! :yay: :tink:

I can appreciate this.::yes:: Sounds like a great game.

Love the painting, you are so talented.

Big snowstorm coming Monday. Could get up to a foot of snow. :crazy2: Then it's going to get really cold, they are talking negative numbers and yup highs in the single digits.:cold:

I AM SO GLAD YOU CHECKED IN...been thinking about you all day and that awful weather. I can NOT imagine :cold::cold::cold:. DH checked your part of the country earlier on Accuweather and read the Monday predictions ; he said....NO THANK YOU! :rotfl: And that's CHRISTMAS DAY...hope you don't have to travel :scared1: ... or if you do, not very far! If tree branches are hanging already you may be in trouble once the snow starts stacking up too! Hope you get all the food prep done JUST IN CASE you DO loose power! Sound like you had the kind of day I had! :faint: Go~go~go ALL DAY but MOST of the preparations are done. :dance3: Long list for tomorrow too before 6:30 church and dinner with the family at cousin's house but hopefully I can stay focused and get it all done in a "timely manner". :goodvibes (Had to hide all the girls Christmas gifts this evening...they LOVE TO SNOOP)... I want to keep everything a surprise this year. Left a couple under the tree for them to "shake, rattle and roll" :rotfl2: but hid all the "important one" :rolleyes1. Of course, that means I'll have to get them all back out of the hiding places tomorrow night when we get home and it will be around midnight before we make it back. :faint: Your food preparations sound DELIGHTFUL! As I was preparing a few things this afternoon, Redstorm asked me WHY we even have a big meal after church..."I just like eating all the JUNK FOOD that you and Mimi Joan and Cheryl make"! :rotfl2: Will be praying for you and your family over the weekend...sounds like you'll be "homebound"!

Will be watching for your address...and YES that game last night was FANTASTIC! FOX SW replayed parts of it ALL DAY today! Had one game today that "came down to the wire" but none of the 3 games today were as exciting as that one. The UIL "crowned" 12 State Champions this weekend in Dallas from 12 different classifications. 213,000 people bought tickets! Can you believe that? Texas high school football is QUITE popular!:rotfl: :tink:

WS or FW? Club Cool? :tink:

Wow you have been busy! Are you driving to Maine??! Is that where your parents are? Do you have siblings there too?

It's negative 1 here :faint: I am sicker than yesterday and it's colder than yesterday. At least tomorrow morning it's supposed to be 18 degrees warmer than this morning. Makes me wish I didn't have pigs on a morning like this.

The banner was raised during half time of the basketball game. The captains got to unveil it.:cheer2: The paper got stuck.:headache:

THOSE POOR TREES! Can't imagine the weight on those limbs. :scared: Stay safe...and WARM...and more pictures! That's a "winter wonderland" for us; I know it's miserable for you though . Am I remembering correctly...doesn't Nick have tickets to the football game? :scared: Is he still going??? I'm sure you don't want to hear this :guilty: but we're at 58, clear and sunny with slight wind...I'm sorry. :goodvibes :tink:
