Inside or outside?
I guess Diane doesn't have power.![]()
...it's been that kind of day for me. I have to come to WITW to regain my sanity!

Youngest DD said the same thing the other night...I need to start selling them! I actually thought about sending you one after Thanksgiving and forgotto ask if you'd be interested! With your COLD weather, a cookie would stay fresh once it got to your part of the country! Getting it out of the Houston area before the icing MELTED would be the hard part!
I begin baking them the first part of December and they keep well IN THE FREEZER!
IF we ever get cooler temperatures
it might work...PM your address and I'll see what I can do.
Each batch makes 2 cookies and Redstorm threatened to keep the one intended for the soccer party so she and the Princess could munch on it at home!
They'd be more than happy to take "the 2nd one"!

Tomorrow have to make cupcakes and some more chocolate covered pretzels. Whoopie pies are going to have to wait, maybe next week. Just watched...for the 2nd time(FOX SW immediately ran the game again after the after game analysis) of what has to be THE greatest State Championship Finals in Texas history. No one but Diane will appreciate this
but the State 5A; Div. 1 team, Highland Park, was quarterbacked by the grandson of Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys. They played a Houston area team, Manvel. Before 25,000 fans, HP was behind at half-time by 14 points. They were behind by 10 points when they took possession on their 15 yard line with 3:12 on the clock and scored with 1:11 left. Still behind by 3 points they GOT the onside kick. Worked their way to the 11 yard line; first play, sacked back on the 16. Two incomplete passes later they scored with 36 seconds left to gain the lead 53-49. Manvel took the kick and worked their way to the HP 40 yard line with 8 seconds left; pass to receiver...CAUGHT on the 2 yard line and "gang tackled" on HALF YARD LINE with 0:00 on the clock...Highland Park wins!
That was a fun total of 7 hours of football
between the actual game and the rerun. I LOVE Texas high school football...and better yet, DH had to start a fire in the fireplace when the temperature dropped to 44 degrees!

Sounds like a great game.Ha! Yes, I did it again! This is from a park.
I
And here's the painting:
I'm okay, just congested. I did all my chores in single digit temps.Doesn't matter how cold it is, the pigs need to be fed and I need to bring wood in.
I hope Diane has not lost power! Looks like she's got those just at or below freezing that make the snow, sleet, ice the worst. Especially with everyone running around with last minute Christmas shopping.
I hope they don't lose power because after this, starting on Christmas there lows are going to be zero or below. "High" of 7 next Wed! That's worse than me!![]()
Hope you don't get any tornados Karolyn!
Then it's going to get really cold, they are talking negative numbers and yup highs in the single digits.
...or either she's REALLY busy...it's been that kind of day for me. I have to come to WITW to regain my sanity!

I AM DONE WRAPPING CHRISTMAS GIFTS!

Yes I will PM you my address.
We haven't lost power yet. Won't be surprised if we do. It's quite gross out. Today was so messy our driveway looks like a skating rink. The snow turned to freezing rain and ice. All the tree branches are all hanging down.
Been so busy today made pierogies and wrapped all my gifts.Tomorrow have to make cupcakes and some more chocolate covered pretzels. Whoopie pies are going to have to wait, maybe next week.
I can appreciate this.Sounds like a great game.
Love the painting, you are so talented.
Big snowstorm coming Monday. Could get up to a foot of snow. Then it's going to get really cold, they are talking negative numbers and yup highs in the single digits.

I can NOT imagine

. DH checked your part of the country earlier on Accuweather and read the Monday predictions
; he said....NO THANK YOU!
And that's CHRISTMAS DAY...hope you don't have to travel
... or if you do, not very far! If tree branches are hanging already you may be in trouble once the snow starts stacking up too! Hope you get all the food prep done JUST IN CASE you DO loose power! Sound like you had the kind of day I had!
Go~go~go ALL DAY but MOST of the preparations are done.
Long list for tomorrow too before 6:30 church and dinner with the family at cousin's house but hopefully I can stay focused and get it all done in a "timely manner".
(Had to hide all the girls Christmas gifts this evening...they LOVE TO SNOOP)... I want to keep everything a surprise this year. Left a couple under the tree for them to "shake, rattle and roll"
but hid all the "important one"
. Of course, that means I'll have to get them all back out of the hiding places tomorrow night when we get home and it will be around midnight before we make it back.
Your food preparations sound DELIGHTFUL! As I was preparing a few things this afternoon, Redstorm asked me WHY we even have a big meal after church..."I just like eating all the JUNK FOOD that you and Mimi Joan and Cheryl make"!
Will be praying for you and your family over the weekend...sounds like you'll be "homebound"!

The banner was raised during half time of the basketball game. The captains got to unveil it.The paper got stuck.

I am sicker than yesterday and it's colder than yesterday. At least tomorrow morning it's supposed to be 18 degrees warmer than this morning. Makes me wish I didn't have pigs on a morning like this. The banner was raised during half time of the basketball game. The captains got to unveil it.The paper got stuck.

Stay safe...and WARM...and more pictures! That's a "winter wonderland" for us; I know it's miserable for you though
. Am I remembering correctly...doesn't Nick have tickets to the football game?
Is he still going??? I'm sure you don't want to hear this
but we're at 58, clear and sunny with slight wind...I'm sorry.
