Beautiful Christmas Eve with our extended family beginning with church and the annual Christmas telling of the Christmas story and ending with an awesome meal and lots of presents! Nephew and his boys were storyteller, shepherd...and our own little "Aggie/Texas A&M" SHEEP ... notice the boots ... and yes, he wore them during the whole service.

Those 2 in front never, EVER stand still long enough for a clear family picture! We DID manage to "settle" the Princess down a little for our family photo ... and my favorite Christmas gift from nephew and his wife...

BIG and little "boys" loved their Astros player jerseys ... and a beautiful, crisp (sorry Diane & Denise...40 degree) night with the church steeple shining bright next to the moon... (DH wouldn't let me take the time to get a clear photo ... he was ready to go home...)

Wow, that looks horrible and icy dangerous! Looks like you've got more snow coming before your temps plummet! I see a negative 10 in there for you! Dangerous cold.

It got from -1 up to 14 here today. The weather report says we should be going up all night but we are down to 9 now. We may get an inch or snow tonight if it warms up enough.

Glad you made it to the finish line Karolyn! Sorry some of you are not feeling well.. Tis the season I'm feeling a little better. Had to go out and feed/check on Lulu 3 times and get some wood from the barn but I did it and and hoping I get a better night's sleep tonight!

BRRRR...good thing you don't have to travel. Stay by the wood heater as much as possible! Glad I made it to the finish line on time too! Some years I have to come home on Christmas Eve and wrap the rest of the gifts! It's going to be nice to not have to stay up until 3 AM! Redstorm is feeling "poorly"...doesn't even feel like eating! She did manage smiles tonight too ... with our crazy bunch you can't help but smile! Hoping she gets a good nights rest ... and doesn't get up at 7 AM like they usually do on Christmas morning!

SO disappointed with the Cowboys performance today ; but we knew they wouldn't advance past the first round of the playoffs so at least we're all "out of our misery" for the year. I'd fire the entire offense coaching staff in a heartbeat; some of the most BONEHEAD calls today EVER . Can't tell you how many times DH and I were YELLING at the TV! We'll "adopt" the Saints as our playoff team...DD's brother-in-law and family are huge Saints fans and Courtney has been "after me" all season to join the ranks. I promised her I would as soon as the Cowboys were out!

I guess you could consider this part of a display but not in the sense that's it's a "true" display. The Spaceship Earth display after the fireworks is a good example of what I'm trying to say...but this didn't come from that.

I guess you could consider this part of a display but not in the sense that's it's a "true" display. The Spaceship Earth display after the fireworks is a good example of what I'm trying to say...but this didn't come from that.

Is it a light projection like the Spaceship Earth display? WS or FW. Outside?

I guess we could get up to a foot of snow tomorrow. Your temps are pretty cold too. Hope you feel better. It's no fun going out in the cold when you don't feel well.

CrAzY morning...like most Christmas mornings are! FUN time for all and some super gifts; need to go see Mom this afternoon and then THE LAST JEDI tonight ...FINALLY...Redstorm will have a FIT if we don't go to that movie soon!
