Hi all !! I am planning a June trip and am stuck as to where to eat at DHS. We have tried Sci Fi and 50'sPTC, but would like to ride the boat over and eat somewhere new since we've always stayed at the park to eat. It will be me, 2 dd's 16 and 7 and my niece 11. Thanks in advance !! ;)

Cape May Clambake at the BC is awesome, so isnt Spoodles and Flying Fish at the BWI.

Yachtsman and Captains Grille at the YC are both fantastic.

If I had to choose I would say FF is my favorite and CMC is DH's favorite

The area is bursting with restaurants - you have all of the Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin and the Yacht Club and Beach Club. Will you be on the DDP. If so the Swan & Dolphin restaurants are not on the plan.
At the Boardwalk the ESPN Club is laid back and fun. It is "Bar Food" - nothing fancy, but your kids might get a kick out of it. The Big River Grille is "Pub Grub" - we have enjoyed it. Flying Fish is upscale - 2 TS on the DDP and expensive OOP, but excellent food and a nice atmosphere. We have not eaten at Spoodles, so I can't comment.
At the YC/BC you have the Yachtsmans Steakhouse which is another 2 TS, expensive restaurant. It gets rave reviews here. Although it is beautiful and has wonderful service, we have not enjoyed the food on our 3 tries and we will not return. The Cape May Cafe is an evening clambake buffet. It has the usual clamback items as well as a side of noo-seafood items as well. It is a nice setting. We have not eaten at the Captains Grill, so I can not comment.
Beaches and Cream gets rave reviews. It is a very small ice cream parlor type place with burgers and fries etc. I enjoyed my meal there. But there can be long waits at traditional meal times.

Some good suggestions in the prior post. I'd add the Dolphin Fountain to the list. Check out the restaurant menus for Swan, Dolphin, Boardwalk, Beach Club and Yacht Club to get an idea of what would appeal to your party.

Hi, yes we will be on the DDP, I don't "do" Disney without it, LOL !!

I was thinking about trying B and C, OOP, and sharing the kitchen sink, not that we could ever finish it, but...... we could try :thumbsup2 Maybe just a few appetizers for our meal and then the sink !!

Another thought I had was to head to WL, but I didn't know if the boat from DHS went that way or not. We've been 3 times and I've still not experienced all that Disney has to offer.... just a good excuse to keep going back...;)

No, the boat from DHS doesn't go to the WL, it stops at the Swan/Dolphin, the YC/BC, Epcot and the Boardwalk, not necessarily in that order.

We had a great lunch at B&C last month, and we had the KS back in 2007 and it was so much fun!

We also like the Big River Grille at the Boardwalk.
