You know you can just ask the broker to ask the seller to bank the points right? It’s not a big deal and they do it all the time.

Can broker still ask the seller to bank after contract is sent to ROFR?

I did ask and the broker got rather snotty with me and said I needed to have it written in to the contract before we signed it. Which is fair, the tone was not my favorite but the answer makes sense.

Sorry about that, some brokers are just super rude. It's something I keep in my mind when resale shopping, who I know tends to be rude and who is always helpful and nice.

We were very happy on how things moved so quickly after we passed ROFR. Now the wait starts for Disney.

This is an unusually long time. I am willing to bet your info didnt get sent to DVC by your title co when the deed recorded, they probably sent it a week later or something.

Just to add.. my recent purchase they sent to DVC 4 days after I recorded.

Yes, I sent them a note to confirm date earlier today. Haven't heard back yet.

Maybe today will be your day. I just got 2 emails, one saying that my contract has been finalized and one with an activation code. I’m still waiting for the email with my member ID.

I reached out to the title company yesterday to inquire re: transfer date to Disney, as it was taking longer than normal for the contract to load to my account. They acknowledged the deed was not sent to Disney at the time of recording due to a death in the company. Apparently, that person was handling my file. They contacted Disney to expedite the transfer, and my contract was loaded today. An unfortunate circumstance, but I appreciate their assistance with a solution.
