Where can I find Mickey Mouse Christmas Cookie cutters?

thanks.

so your taking about a set you got that has a mickey cutter and mix? or?

This is where I called to get the single Mickey Mouse gingerbread cookie cutter with the mix ($7.50 + $9.95 shipping) that is sold at places in Walt Disney World.

What I am still trying to find, at a reasonal price, is the Mickey Minnie 3.5" set. So far Target and Michael's in my area of Maryland doesn't carry them. I will try Walmart and Joann Fabric too. I have a feeling that the set is sold at stores like these and not at the theme parks. The person on Ebay sold this set that had the year 2009 on it in November 2010 for $39.00, and the one that was on Ebay had 2010 on the package. There has got to be more of them somewhere. I would hate to buy them at such an expensive price, and then find them for a muuch cheaper price later.

I'll let everyone know what I find out as I run errands over the next two days.

:guilty:I went to 4 Walgreens in my area today and didn't see any Mickey Snowman cutters! I did see a really cute MICKEY Snowman light!

Since the $40 cookie cutters are being shipped from Tokyo, I would guess that the seller got them at Tokyo D-land or the Tokyo Disney Store. The seller has other Disney items from there.

Friends who have been to Tokyo Disneyland have mentioned that there are a lot of things there that are not available in the US parks. Hopefully these cookie cutters aren't exclusive to them.

I would think that the shipping would be a lot higher than $5 and the cookie cutters would be lower. Maybe with the $$ exchange they are that high, what do I know? The letter doesn't look like Disney, and I don't see any Disney logo which makes me think they were packaged for regular stores. On the other hand when I look at the other things the Ebay seller has to offer, they have the same Mickey Minnie set design on pins, ornamnets, etc. Who knows?:confused3 But I'm not giving up yet.

I just bought the Mickey snowman tonight at Wallgreen's for $1.99!

I want those gingerbread ones!! We'll be in Disney in 2 weeks !! I will definitely be on the look out for those!

Those of you that found the cookie cutter in Walgreen's, what state do you live in and where did you find them in the store?

So far, my Walgreens' in my area (Maryland) doesn't carry them. :sad1: I have one more store to try. I was told they all don't carry the same things.

I also checked Bed, Bath, and Beyond for the sets. No luck there.

The Walgreens I went to today in my area (NE Ohio) did not have any cookie cutters. :sad1:

After spending way too much time online and on phones :lmao:, this is what I found out about the 3.5" Mickey Minnie cookie cutter set. It is only sold in Tokyo Disneyland. After talking to someone at Disneyland CA, I did what was suggested to search. I found another DIS like forum which showed a Christmas catalog for the park, plus Tokyo Disneyland is not run by Disney, which is probably why there is no "Disney" logo on the box. Anyway, the people said that merchandising is expensive at that location. Small beannie toys are $30, and they listed some other price comparisons. The $39 seem to be in line with the price of other things. :scared1: That cookie cutter design is so cute, USA Disney should consider selling it here too. Oh well..........

Now back to Walgreens looking for Mickey snowman cookie cutter.........

I don't see any Disney logo which makes me think they were packaged for regular stores.

I looked at the seller's ebay store and there is a gingerbread Mickey cell phone strap with Tokyo Disney Resort on the tag and also embroidered on the back.

I'm sorry, what I was referring to that on the cookie cutter package picture there is no Disney logo on the box. My original thought was if it didn't have a Disney logo then it was packaged for other non-Disney stores like Walgreens. I was wrong apparently.

I checked 2 Walgreens yesterday and couldnt find the cookie cutter :rolleyes1 Guess I will go out tomorrow to a few more and see if I can find one.. I did ask at one of them and she said that they get 2 shipments a week and I should check back becaust they could always get them..

On the positive side, I did find a CUTE Mickey snowman that lights up for $12.99 so I got that and I got a Mickey window decoration for $6.99.. :thumbsup2:lmao:

Enjoy your new finds!

I am in South Florida and SO FAR no MICKEY SNOWMAN cookie cutters to be found. Have checked out 6 different Walgreens. Each Walgreens has had a few different things. The Lighted Mickey Snowman is really CUTE! Changes colors when lit.
Bought the metal red and green tinsel Mickey Head for the door on our Disney Christmas vacation. Was told that not all the decorations were out at several stores so I need to check back. Seems like we have a Walgreens every 2 miles from each other SO if they are in South Florida I will find them! Hopefully!

Walgreens......and the Mickey, Princess and Cars little christmas trees are cute as well!

I got this cookie cutter in Walgreens tonight...I live in Tennessee.

It was $1.99.The Mickey snowman cookie cutter is made of red plastic. It has the cookie cutter ,2 tubes of icing red and green and a little pack of "shimmering dust" which I think is green sugar.

Walgreens has all sorts of CUTE Disney Christmas decorations....very reasonable priced.:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone. :flower3:

I did order from Disney the gingerbread Mickey with the mix set a couple of days ago. It was $7.50 plus $9.95 for shipping. I missed out last year, I wasn't going to miss out this year.

But I adore the Mickey Minnie set. (I would post a picture but it wasn't working out.) I think the Ebay seller got them from Disney Tokyo. I just keep thinking they have got to be somewhere else. :scratchin WDW merchandising doesn't sell the set. The $39 plus shipping is a little high for what it is. I'm not sure it I am that crazy to break down and buy them. I'm going to call Disneyland in the AM. I will make a trip to Walgreens to see if I get lucky with the snowman. They are all so cute.

Funny is that I never made gingerbread cookies until a trip to WDW at Christmas. I bought a cookie from the gingerbread house at GF. My DD and I went back into MK. Later I went to eat another bite off the cookie and it was gone. My very picky DD had eaten it. We have been making tons of them since all year round. Her sports teams requests this cookie for for the first and last home games, plus playoff games. (The parents hope for leftovers. I usually make extras and give them to the parents first.) And they love the three circle Mickey head. I already wore out one cookie cutter and had to replace it.

I am thinking of hosting my first cookie exchange this christmas. Do you mind sharing your gingerbread cookie recipe? Thanks so much:)

Here's the recipe. I find it easy to make, and I usually don't roll out cookies. We just love the taste of this recipe. And many soccer teams seem to agree. :thumbsup2 Let me know if you have any questions. Happy baking!

1 tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. baking powder

2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, soften

1 C. brown sugar, packed

4 tsp. ground ginger

1 tsp. pepper

1 ½ tsp. salt

2 large eggs

1 C. molasses

** Icing optional (Buttercream icing from cake/cookie store)
