Where are you going on vacation this year?

We're off to South Africa in March for 2 weeks and then maybe a Med- Cruise in Sept.

jj.........

Our plans to spend easter break at WDW with my Mom have been cancelled. My Mom is still having some health issues and she wants to stay close to home.

And my DH is having extensive dental work done that our insurance won't cover, dental implants. At $1,000 a tooth, looks like Disney will have to wait, and that's okay since we went twice last year!

So....it'll be something like Myrtle Beach and/or Knoebels Grove amusement park this summer.

June 15 - July 4 Austria/N. Italy/Germany
Dec. 10 - 16 Boardwalk WDW.

I have to chuckle at DH and myself! We always plan our next vacation on the way home from the current one! DH works 12 hour days and I am a first year teacher (seems like 12 hour days too!). Since we have two teenage boys and so little free time together, having a vacation planned helps us "make it through" those tough days!!

We have a Disney cruise planned, 7 night western, then four nights in WDW on July 3-14. We went to NYC for an "adult only" weekend in December, then had a wonderful Christmas in Cape Cod with DH's entire family.

We want to have one more weekend trip before warm weather arrives.

When I was offered the position for my job in August, we took a 4 day trip to Boston. We had a blast!!!!! There is so much to see and do in that city, and if you are the least bit interested in history, you will get your fill!!!! If you are visiting friends there, you may want to take a few days to head into the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Canada also has some wonderful places. Our DS went there twice with the HS band and he really wants us to consider some taking some time to go to Ottawa and Montreal.

Let us know what you decide!

We're hoping to do the DIS meet at Hersheypark in June, and then in July we're heading out West - Vegas, Grand Canyon and Disneyland/Calif. Adventure. Plus, DH and the boys will spend a week at scout camp (and I get a week of peace and quiet at home).

Great Thread! It is so nice reading everyones plans. I am living vicariously through all of you. Some places I've been to and some I'm dying to get to.

Our plan is this............. (keeping in mind the original plan was to camp)

April 13-21- US/IOA/WDW... I won this trip from our local radio station and still amazed as I thought I would go through WDW withdrawals for 2004

July 11-18- VA Beach..... Dh & I have been here before with family it is a blast (we won accomodations in a 2 bdrm for a week) as soon as we found out we asked friends that we had vacationed with before to join us. We had so much fun with them we HAD to ask them to join us again. Looking forward to seeing Busch Gardens again and trying Water Country USA

That leaves me with 7 more vacation days with which we will camp in Maine with..... I love camping!

I am truely Blessed!
Lisa

We don't really plan too much ahead but there are places we go every year. We go skiingin Feb for a week in PA. I go to WDW twice. Two weeks in May and two weeks in October. We spend 2 weeks at the ocean every summer. DH and I also go places without the kids. We do Atlantic City 4-5 times a year for a couple of days at a time. We also have a trip to NYC in March. We just went there in November and now DH is hooked on NYC so we get to go again! We are also planning a trip to Hawaii for this July but that is taking the kids. I think I must spend at least 3 months away from home each year!

Since I'm moving to Orlando in June, I probably won't be going anywhere else this year. I don't know what I'll do in the future. The only place I ever vacation was WDW. I'll have to start looking at other possibilities!!

BWV in eight more days, Wells & Georgetown, Maine the week before July 4th and the Route 1 traffic nightmare. WDW in late January, Maine in summer, weekend road trips wherever & whenever we can; our simple plan that keeps on working.

Tampa the first week of March to see daughter's work in fashion show, a trip to Maine probably in June to visit Mom and nearby family, then to WDW in early Dec.

I enjoy seeing family, but I can't wait to go to Disney without any kids!

We've got two trips to Disney booked for this year. The first will be a family trip in late October. Then, DH and I are returning on December 28th to ring in the new year and celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary with the mouse.

I'm taking the kids to Houston over DD's spring break to visit my parents...and kick off Kenny Chesney's new tour while we're at it. We usually visit my parents every couple of months, so I'm sure there will be multiple Houston trips between now and the time for our Disney adventures.

That should keep us all pretty busy this year. :teeth:

Right now, we only have a couple of things planned...In July we are spending a week in Hershey, PA, which I can't wait because I finally get to meet all my Reward Program friends!! :)

Then in August, we will most likely spend a week at Disney before my kids start school! :)

After that, not sure because we usually go to Florida the first week of December, but my parents are coming up here this year for Christmas, so I don't know if we are going to go to Disney in December this time around...still a year away, so who knows! LOL

DBF and I may go into Dallas and Six Flags over Spring Break(daytrip)

We're going to England:hyper: in October. I can't wait....although I'm terrifed to fly. Hubby and I are going without the kids to visit friends..I'm so so excited and can't wait to see my buddy Tony::yes:: .

For our 23 aniversary the weekend of Feb 6-8 we will be going to Key West. Now I've lived most of my life in Sunny S. FL and have never been to Key West. Can't Wait.
The end of June we will be going with our sons Boy Scout Troop for summer camp----we're thinking of Ga.
Then In Nov we will be camping for a long weekend at a local campsite.
Were keeping it kinda of low key this year saving up for the BIG trip next year to TAHOE.

This year will be a big travel year for us.

We are going to Hawaii in April over Spring break.

In November we will be going back to WDW to get use out of our annual passes....:teeth:

This Tuesday we are going to Disneyland for 2 days for my birthday. Just Jeff and I and the 8 and 3 year old. We're going to stay over and go to DL on one day and California Adventure the other. Ive never been to the new park..Im SO excited.
