Hey Froggy, The lady at the service desk is probably thinking you have a stalker. I came in last week to get a door knob and stopped again to ask if you where working. One of these days I am going to come in when you are there. I have to come back one day this week to exchange the door knob. I'll try again.

FroggyinArk, I'll definitely hunt you down next time I am in Lowe's. I don't get out there too much but my husband does since we own and operate a cabinet shop.

We are trying Pop Century for the first time next year and I am a bit nervous. Our previous stays were at the CBR which we loved! But, we want to try something new and we're never in our room anyway so we chose a value resort.

My DH worked at a Lowe's here in Harvey, LA years ago when they first opened. Hated his hours and ended up leaving after about a year. He now works at a local nursing facility in engineering/maintenance.

How are you feeling? I read your story about 9 months ago, heartbreaking.....

other than the headache and a good dose of autheritus i'm feeling good. i agree the hours are a hard thing to get used to, but after 20 years of self employement i am loving hte benifits and steady work

I know, it's hard to find since the moderator moved us to the Community Board. I just don't like the Community Board since there are so many posts that are not Disney related. I don't hardly visit the Community Board. Maybe that's just me.

I live part-time in New Orleans - would be full-time, but I help take care of my 87 year old dad in Little Rock. I'd love to be in nola all of the time, but I don't want my dad going away anytime soon! He comes with me sometimes. He had a stroke in nola in May so I haven't gotten him to return again (yet).

Kathy - my dad worked engineering/maintenance at a hospital before he retired. He loved working on the 3rd shift because he had the house (kitchen) to himself while mother was at work during the day. He's been retired for 22 years, but I still meet people who remember him. He's a real character.

He just called me to the kitchen - It's about 9:30 am, and he handed me a big plate of meatballs that he's just cooked - breakfast.
