Where are all the Louisiana WDW lovers? UPDATED 1ST POST WITH DATES!

Hi everyone. Have a great time on your trips. I've been a little sad because we canceled our Halloween trip in favor of a much longer one next summer. Usually we go Halloween for five days or so and go in the summer for a week or two. Instead we are staying four weeks next summer. I know I'll be happy when the time rolls around (last week of May into June) but this is the first Halloween we have missed in four years and I miss it.

It was great to meet Froggie. Strange how we all talk here on the DIS and don't know each other in real life. Maybe we broke the curse and he won't always be off when we go to Lowe's.

Wish us luck, DD's high school football team is 7 - 1 and has another big game tonight. I've just recovered my voice after last weeks game.

Thanks. We are number three in the state in power rankings but have a tough game both this week and next so keep your fingers crossed.

Four weeks will be great, if only the economy will quit this downturn. Sometimes I wonder if a long trip was a great idea right now but it was planned months ago.

Have a really good time for all of us who wish we were there.

Boy, I hope so. The trucking business is slow. We have ten trucks out today and DH is struggling to load them. But that's the way it goes, next week we may be swamped (I hope).

I tweaked it and made it "mardi gras friendly" for our family to wear during Mardi Gras at wdw! I'm sure someone else could come up with something better looking, but I'm kinda new to this stuff & haven't had time to read instructions on how to do all those fun designs others can do. I thought this came out cute, though.
