When walking to your car

Only if you have slippers on too. :thumbsup2

Beware that even though you are endangering yourself by walking extremely close to parked vehicles, others may consider you to be dressed slovenly. Be careful they don't run over you while trying to take your photo. :lmao:

And if there are four or five of you, you do not need to walk in a side by side line all the way from one side of the aisle to the other, blocking traffic in both directions. And you don't need to do that at the mall, either.

Oh I hate that so much! Then when they realize a car wants to get through, they get all huffy about it! I wish you could just run them over...:rolleyes1

Who said anyone had to be extremely close to parked vehicles? This is a middle ground between extremely close and middle of the road.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. Obviously, extremely close means walking within 10 feet of the bumper, front or back, depending on whether you back in or pull in.

I have been tempted to rev the engine and honk right behind anyone walking down the middle. So far, I have managed to control this impulse.:rotfl2:

If I disable the traction control, in 1st gear flooring the throttle will guaranty that my car won't have any forward movement but instead will let out a horrendous screeching that will ensure that those in the middle of the road will promptly be at the side within a fraction of a second without ever even taking a step.

And it's at that moment the walking offender is glad they are only wearing their pajama bottoms and not a good pair of jeans.

Nope. I will walk down the center of the aisle while I chat on my cell phone & light my cigarette. What are you gonna do about it? :)

This thread has me :rotfl:

So, as long as I walk to the side of the aisle I can wear my pajama bottoms AND no bra? :lmao:

10 feet? That would put you in the middle of the aisle again!

Please walk to the side of the aisle and not in the middle. Thank you!

Nope. If someone is backing out they can see you better, if someone is going to grab you they have a further distance to get to me.

I will move to the side when a car is comming.

Ok for the comment about getting dragged into another car... I'm assuming we are not discussing small children walking along as they are another issue. If someone is strong enough to get a full grown adult into a car they don't want to get into (meaning forcing my limbs to go through the opening) even a small adult like my 15 year old neice then they are strong enough to get you from the middle of the aisle to the side in oh about 2 seconds. Anyone that would notice and help because you were in the aisle is likely to notice the protesting adult being forced into a car and still help.

For being able to be seen, don't people pay attention to the cars as they walk? A car that just went into gear and is about to move the lights will come on because the person was on teh brake as they shifted gears. I watch the lights of the cars and if a car has any lights on then I'll give it a wider area and be sure to pass very quickly in case the car starts to move... All the other cars taht aren't on I"m really not worried about hitting me. I am much more worried about the car coming down the aisle to fast.

But I have to walk in the middle because I'm disabled and my child has special needs and my husband is unemployed and how dare you make assumptions about us we're not all perfect like you you just don't understaaaaaaaaaaand!!!!

What if I'm in the parking lot of one store, but shopping in another? What rules apply then?
