We did a dessert party with a bunch of DISers last year- so when I saw someone with a LGMH on the bus leaving Pop Century, I debated saying hello or not- decided to go ahead and say hi Turned out it was his wife's LGMH, but soon, we were chatting with his wife... Doesn't hurt to say hi!

Lime Green Mickey Head, you can get them at Home Depot in the paint dept. The actual color name is Alien Green. I peel mine off the backing (soak in water for a minute), put 2 back to back. My DIS name is on it, and then I laminated them (easy to do, luggage laminates at Target in stationary section) punch a hole in the corner and hang from your bag

I am almost positive that I actually ran into a DIS'er that I post with in another thread all the time at the airport the other day.. and I was too nervous to ask if it was her I realized it was her after I had asked her directions and walked away and was too chicken to go back
I was afraid I was wrong and I would look like a weirdo.

The funniest story I ever read on the DIS was about a DIS'er who saw someone holding a bag with the LGMH. He (she) made the Focker sign at them from a distance and the guy who was holding the bag looked shocked and a little frightened. Turned out-he was holding the bag for his wife, who was a DIS'er (he was not). I am paraphrasing and am sure I got some details wrong, but I could just visualize this in my head and still laugh about it!!

I'm glad I read this thread before me and the DW went on our next trip to Disney. We had read about the LGMH and planned on putting one on our bag when we went, but we haven't heard about the Focker sign before. I'm sure that would have freaked us out if someone saw our bag and gave us the Focker sign. My DW would have been trying to find security!

Last year I met two really nice disers and said Hi (The Focker Way, of course) to another. Someone at work took the paint chip, scanned it and inserted our user IDs on it. We then printed it, laminated and put a slit through it to hang it off our lanyards.

I will happily say Hi to any other diser.

Evad and Gelebean, I will be there with my LGMH at the same time you are. I am staying at AKL. I have already talked to a few other Dissers who will be there at the same time. I have pleny of laminated heads but I just wrote my screen name on them with a pen. I thought if someone saw them on my door or stroller and I wasn't around they might be able to find me on the boards. If I saw someone with a head I would say hi but I don't feel comfortable giving the Focker sign. I can't wait four more days!

I met three of the nicest Dis'ers last Friday morning at the World of Disney Store at DTD. I was walking through the store & they caught up with me. I had my LGMH hanging on my purse & no one had noticed it the entire week we'd been there. It was so sweet - the one's that I met were Nurse Tibs, Twilight Terror and Pluto Disney. I thought it was so nice to actually meet another Dis'er and to actually get to visit a little bit even if it was in the middle of a huge store. I hope that they had a great time visiting WDW & that their trip back home was safe and easy.

I did see one other Dis'er on Wednesday leaving Crystal Palace but she was walking so fast to leave CP I couldn't catch her to say "HI".

I'm pretty new on here but I'll be there at the same time. It seems like it would be a more challenging game of hidden Mickey's. I was thinking I wasn't going to out anything but reading all these posts definitely makes me want to do it. I think it will be fun to meet other DISers

about a year ago I spied a lime green mickey, and said "hello" and tried to start a conversation. I am afraid I was saddened by the less than friendly response I got. The girl was polite, but chilly...she was with a group of other folks(I think one was a dis person as well) .

I agree with the other folks, if you are wearing the green mickey thing it means someone may say hello..please be friendly in return or dont wear it..nothing like feeling stupid for making such an overture

Why, oh why, wasn't this thread started a few days earlier??? After learning of LGMH, I decided I needed in! Went over to Home Depot on Sat. and picked up a stack of MH in some different colors. Grab a few extra LGMH...in "Sonic Boom" LOL Now I have to venture back to search for the Alien Green MH and try to inconspicuously walk off with yet another handful of paint chips

As you can see, it is 1:30 a.m., and I am up MAKING T-SHIRTS! My first time at this, and I can see I'm not doing as great as I'd like to be!!!

Guess I need to quit reading threads and go to bed so I can make more shirts tomorrow night after work!

..and by the way, I don't specifically go around looking for LGMH, but I always end up meeting people thru conversation each trip--Elisa the first time, BlytheP the 2nd time, and this time EVAD!

I've said hi to a few dissers and not because of the LGMHs. We actually started talking before we knew we were fellow Dissers.

We were waiting in line for the bus back to POP from Epcot and got to talking to a couple of people in line ahead of us. We were talking about the resort, etc and they suggested a "great website for info" called "Disboards".

lol that happened to us too in Sept. last year. Me and DH were waiting to go to downtown disney at Sports and this other couple was waiting too. We started talking and then she noticed my LGMH on my backpack and said she was a DISer too! It was really funny because we were both going on and on about the DISboards and our guys were laughing at how weird we sounded. you can tell they weren't DISer's like us. lol
