I actaully just saw some disers the other day going on the tram.. but I didn't say hi because I'm not very known on here and I felt weird saying something. :[
Plus my parents would have been like "huh."


So if that was you sorry I didn't say hi.. They were decked out in green.. a lady,son,daughter,and man.

There is someone on the boards that sells a DISboards lime green tshirt, super cheap too.

I wore mine on our last trip and one person came up to me. I was a little surprised it was only one, but it was still nice. I also laminated a Home Depot LGM chip and clipped it to my walking around bag, but that got no bites.

My LGMH got spotted last week as we were leaving dinner at the Prime Time.
We talked for a minute and then had to explain to the waiter what a DISer was.

It was fun little moment...I should have taken a picture!

I know this one! It's a Lime Green Mickey Head! You can get the paint chips from Home Depot! Of course you are painting a room lime green!!! They are the unofficial sign of Disboards!

I've run into lots of DISers in the parks. Most have been very friendly and a bit surprised. I did run into a couple when I was there a week or so ago.
I will say that there have been times when they have reacted exactly as cguill said....they looked away as if they didn't want to be bothered. So....my question...if you don't want to run into other DISers, why the LGMH hanging off your backpack?? There is nothing worse than being embarrassed by being ignored or spoken to harshly. And yes, I did have one person say this to me...I saw her many LGMHs, in line at Soarin', I went up to her, and said hi, I was on the DIS also. Her response??? "Yeah? That's nice." and she turned away and ignored me.
But, I still persist in saying hi to other LGMH wearers!!! I love running into other DISers.

What a nasty person. You make a very good point, if you dont want to have others talk to you then dont broadcast that your from the DIS.

i know my self, if im stuck with them in line or something i will say something and talk or whatever, if they give me an attidude answer i will tell them they have an attitude and r rude and it i see someone from a far i willl scream im on the did boards too. if someone approaches me i wil feeel special. lol, and i wouldnt be rude. oh and if i see a disser from a far i will take there picture and start a "youve been spotted" thread

When we went last year, I was too new to the DIS to feel like putting a LGMH on our bag. Saw someone too, but same deal.

This year, I decided to "advertise" and ended up being approached by at least 4 DISers! One gal (whose name I'm forgetting) we saw everywhere! I'm glad she shouted out at Epcot rope drop on the 2nd day of our trip because we chatted there, at Soarin', on the bus, at DHS, in line at TSM!

Not to defend them but they could have just been having a bad day, still rather rude through.

I used Lime Green Mickey Head paint chips from Home Depot to make one for our last trip. I glued two together, punched a hole and attached it to my bag. I never got approached and I never saw any other LGMH.

I'll have to remember to do this again - we leave in less than two weeks (9/27 - 10/4). If I saw another DIS'er, I'd be sure to say hello and I think it would be fun to meet other people from here at the DIS.

I got noticed twice this past Aug. I was so happy to get spotted I have been a bunch and never been spotted. I had the LGMH's and for the first time the t-shirts from the DISunplugged store. I ran into somebody on the bus back to saratoga springs and also in the candy shop in the Magic Kingdom. I did spot anybody and I was looking all the time....
