when u see a disser at disney

The funniest story I ever read on the DIS was about a DIS'er who saw someone holding a bag with the LGMH. He (she) made the Focker sign at them from a distance and the guy who was holding the bag looked shocked and a little frightened. Turned out-he was holding the bag for his wife, who was a DIS'er (he was not). I am paraphrasing and am sure I got some details wrong, but I could just visualize this in my head and still laugh about it!!:lmao:

I think I've seen this posted before, but that was ME! It was not my husband, but rather my best friend James, who was holding my lime green baggallini (decorated with LGMH) outside Norway while I was shopping. Good thing I came out in time to find out who gave him the Focker Look! Yes, James was confused when this strange man pointed to his own eyes and then to him! :rotfl2: I should have briefed James about the Focker Look, but I just completely forgot! SeacrestPromo (the DISer who gave James the Focker Look), James and I all had a good laugh about this! :teeth:

I'm a newbie here but I'll still say "hi" if I see any LGMHs when we're there. We'll be there Oct. 17-26 and the MNSSHP on the 23rd.

I might have to make my own LGMH out of something other than the official paint chip though because I'm not sure there any Home Depots here. :confused3

If you have a rental car when you are at WDW, you could always stop at a local Home Depot. There are 5 within 10 miles of WDW. Just did a search on their website.

I've got a MH shaped cookie cutter that works perfectly for tracing LGMH's onto lime green cardstock from the scrapbooking store. I got my cookie cutter a few years ago AT WDW but I'm sure they have to have some available outside the parks cheap somewhere :)

Dont all yell at me, but I didnt know there was a secret sign or badge (pin).

But I did see a chap wearing an Allears.net pin and so i went up to speak and it turned out to be Mike Scopa, one of the staff authors on Allears.net. He gave me a pin and I now wear this when I am in the parks.

Mike was a great chap and spent some time giving my family some insider tips ;)

Those of us who know Mike have a saying:

"Mike Scopa knows EVERYBODY at WDW!"

Hey we are going to be at MNSSHP the same night. I'm am going as Minnie, DH as Goofy, dd7 as Sharpay, ds3 as Woody and DD1 as Snow white. Hope to see you there. We are getting our LGMH together this week. I hope we spot some of you fellow DISers :)

I am hoping I run into some of you that I have made LGMH's for! If you see me "becfehr"... please say hello... ESPECIALLY if I made your LGMH! I will LOVE to embarrass my DH by people coming up to me and talking... lol! No really, please say hello to me.

And IF you do not have a LGMH, I will make one for you, just PM me with your email address. (See my LGMH in my signature.)

you could always give them the adopted Disser sign-the Focker sign (from the movie Meet the Fockers)

LOL! I would laugh so hard is someone did that to me at WDW. :lmao:

I saw a DISer in a shirt in Sept, she did not seem thrilled to be noticed. I also left a note for a DISer at POR on a well decorated door.

We decorated our window last month with lights and my Inflated LGMH at POFQ~Let me know if you saw it!

We were at the World from 10/26 to 11/6 and I didn't see ONE LGMH -- and, I was looking!!! I also didn't see anyone taking pix of their food ;) -- and, I was looking for that too!!! Oh well, maybe next time!

Hi all! I'll be there from 11/19 - 11/28 and all by my lonesome so if you see me, say hi! I'll have my LGMH attached to my LV bag - I know, so gauche!

When I went in late Feb/early March I didn't see any DISers. :sad2:

We're going again in December (12-21), so feel free to say hello! Assuming my grandmother doesn't catch my cold like she did in March, I should be with a cool grammy on wheels :moped:

I have seen a few LGMH's around but I do not go up to people. Last month I met AngVT and her son at Cape May for dinner and we gave each other big hugs and hung out for an hour at Epcot. It was awesome meeting a fellow Diser.

I am hoping to meet a lot more Oct 09...seems there will be alot of us there Oct 16-25

I was there earlier this month and wore my LGMH 3 out of my four days in the park. Didn't see any other LGMHs no did anyone come say hi. Oh well, maybe next time! :)

ROFL!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: That is just priceless!! Someone gave me the Focker Look back in 2007 when I was wearing my Focker Look shirt. LOL And I met Beady Lady at Dawa Bar in AK cuz of that shirt. My DF thinks I'm nuts. Where can I find the Focker Look smiley I've seen around the boards? I just gotta have one!!!

I recognized a fellow Dis-er this past Sept in MK by the castle. I wanted to say hello, but was hesitant she'd be uncomfortable. Prior to our trip there was a lot of messaging/worrying about all of the hurricane activity and the potential of one ruining a trip. Well she said something to the effect that she wished the hurricane would move to the left. It caused a huge ruckus and she got slammed by people living in that area - why would she wish a hurricane on them-it's her vacation but it's their lives and homes. I totally got both sides and she really seemed humiliated, trying to apologize. So we just smiled and kept to ourselves for fear of embarrassing her because I knew she'd know how I knew who she was. I don't think she had bad intentions, it just came out wrong.
